We hired Luis and his team at H&C to do some renovations in our apartment and were very happy working with them. They gave us a very detailed and competitive quote, clearly itemizing everything that needed to be done. They renovated our entire kitchen, adding new cabinets, dishwasher and microwave. They repainted our whole apartment, reran the wiring for our bathroom switches, redid closet doors and changed the bathroom fixtures.
There were a number of things that came up at the last minute as the work moved and Luis helped take care of them. For example he took care of all the permits that we needed to get. We changed some things as the work progressed, like adding different accent wall colors and they were very flexible in making that happen. They were also very flexible in doing a bunch of smaller tasks like fixing rods, shelving and hooks, that weren't part of the original contract.
Luis was mostly easy to reach on text or phone and kept us well updated. He was also helpful in his suggestions for fixtures and in bringing anything from Home Depot that we did not have the time to go buy.
We had one small hicccup where they misplaced our apartment keys. But they changed the locks and made new keys so that was also resolved easily.
Overall we were happy with their pricing, quality of work, flexibility as things changed, and getting the work done in a reasonable amount of time.
