    Spicy Chicken Katsu Sando
    Shwe N.

nothing out of this world, but this was a good spot! kept seeing all over social media and thankfully we came before the lunch rush hour. ordered the steak sando (it was nicely cooked, mebbe needed more seasoning) + spicy chicken katsu sando (my personal favourite i lov the spice and texture from cabbages) and both came with its respective sauces so cute ! i would also say the breading was a little too much also the owner was very attentive and friendly so we appreciated that ! interior design so prettys

Vibes & delish dishes! Friendly service & cozy decor. Definitely my new favorite! Had the chips & chicken katsu and I'm already planning my trip back!

We came to grab lunch on Friday, and waited about 20mins to order and another 30mins to receive our food. Ambiance: 4/5 Pretty chill setting. They have high tables at the main area where you order, outdoor seatings, and in the back of the restaurant. Service: 4/5 Cashier was really sweet and friendly. 30mins is a long wait though but that's how you know they're making it right out of the kitchen. Food: 3.5/5 Lulu sando box actually gives you 9 pieces in total, not 3!! Beef was kind of tough and had no flavor. Egg was ok. Spicy chicken katsu was also ok. I was expecting saucy katsu but it was the powder on top that made it spicy. Shrimp was really good! We weren't fans of the bread. Neither toasted nor soft and was kind of dry.

Loved my first lunch experience here! The cozy & modern fast-casual was spotless! The Asian male staff was super nice & took his time to tell me about the menu. I was HUNGRY upon arrival (I only had a small organic apple & black coffee for breakfast), and decided on the salmon bowl. The salmon bowl was DELICIOUS w/ generous portion of grilled salmon, seasoned perfectly. The rice was al dente with sautéed mushroom, as well as shredded cabbage. I can't wait to come back to try the egg sando.

We came at 11:00am, and they were already packed out. The wait time was over thirty minutes, which we were warned of after we ordered, but we were okay to wait. The staff were attentive and gave out chips for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I just cannot enjoy the food. The egg sandwich was severely under seasoned, and it literally just tastes like egg. I was expecting flavors I couldn't make at home, so was very disappointed. The pork bowl was also underwhelming and came lukewarm. For the price and the wait, this is outrageous. It seems like an understaffing issue that we ran into that day, which can't be helped, but the food should at least be good. A place famous for sandwiches should put effort into each sandwich; if not, take the egg off the menu...

This is the definition of taste of Japan. Took me back to when I was in Japan eating egg sandwiches daily! The staff was so friendly. The line went out the door when I was there on a Saturday during lunch time. Waited about 15 minutes and completely worth the wait. The staff would come in and out thanking everyone for their patience, in which I appreciate the acknowledgment in the heat! They were doing the fastest they can, and by the time I ordered, probably took 5 mins to get the sandwiches out! The boss, I presumed, came out and gave us our sandwiches. Super nice and friendly. Even came back around to see what are thoughts were on the food! The place looks small but there is a cute back with cherry blossoms and lofi music that makes the vibe of the restaurant, so don't be fooled that the front is the only place to sit! I love nothing more than amazing food but moreover people who care about the people who come through their restaurant and acknowledge their presence and such! I don't live here but Vegas is like second home to us Los Angeles peeps, but saw this place from a vlogger I follow, and this is definitely on the top of my list of places I'll continue to come to and highly recommend!

It was more of a B+ than an A+. Gyu Plus is a fun casual eats spot that also has a social lounge on some nights. I was here for lunch though, and the latest Las Vegas Weekly coincidentally had just run a feature on them and particularly their egg sandwich. It sounded a little more doable than the more famous steak version since I was in a Chinatown crawl of sorts, so I went for it. The Egg Sando ($11.99) does look and taste appealing. It's lightly sweet shokupan (Japanese milk bread) toasted on the interior-facing side, a thick layer of egg salad, and a jammy egg with vibrant orange yolk. Despite the obvious visual appeal, the flavors were a little on the bland side. I could've used a touch of mustard or something zesty to jazz it up. Fortunately, I also ordered their Togarashi Potato Chips ($5.99), which are excellent on their own or when used in every bite to enhance an Egg Sando. These chips are very crispy, fatty in a great way, lightly spicy, and even more complex when you can get a bit of rosemary into your mouth. The Passion Fruit Mango Juice (~$7?) was great when sipped around the same time as enjoying the sandwich (either hot and fresh or more room temp later that evening), but a little odd and bland when sipped for several consecutive strawfuls on its own. The mango stands out much more than the passion fruit, which I expected to add noticeable acidity. I would likely go with with soda or even plain water next time. Service was good, with the employees and even someone whom I believe is the owner checking on me multiple times during my visit. That gentleman also helped me pack my unfinished food to-go after I called it quits. I will have to come back to Gyu Plus to try out the Steak Sando, a rice bowl, or maybe even that night menu. They didn't hit on all cylinders today, but I know others enjoy them a little more than I did.

I ordered the three sandwiches special. The combo includes the spicy chicken katsu, steak, and egg sandos. You get a total of 9 pieces (3 boxes) for $46.99. Service was quick. Prices were fair compared to other Japanese sando spots I've had. The egg sando was a bit bland. The chicken katsu was a bit overcooked in my opinion. The steak sando was tender, but lacking flavor. Not worth the hype. I've been seeing other influencers review them and gave them great reviews. Maybe it was an off day when I visited.

Parking is bad during busy hours. The service is good. The ambiance very interesting. The que lines also another negative. The food is like what I expected. Interesting sandwich , the bread is very thick and soft. We order lulu sando which the beef fillet, egg and chicken katsu. The beef fillet probably my favorite. The egg is soft. The chicken katsu krispy. It's good place to try something different.

I keep hearing about these sandwiches and I now know that it's not just a hype. The egg sando might be my new favorite. The eggs are so good and cooked very well with a nice and soft yellow but firm whites. The sandwich is very creamy and the bread is very soft. I will need to try their other sandwiches but the only advice I have is to get your own.

Gyu Plus has the nicest crew! We were obviously struggling with the choices but they nicely approached us and helped answer some questions. Everything I think is well priced for the quality of ingredients! Had the steak sando, egg sando, Chef's Box, and the veggie! Steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare. Egg sando was nice and creamy and the soft boiled egg was a wonderful touch. What caught me off guard was the Veggie Sando! Insane umami flavor between the mushrooms, onions, and sauce! I predict it isn't ordered much but that sandwich was glorious!!! The Chef's Box speaks to the rice lovers out there. Good amount of steak, even bigger portion of rice. The veggies also had great texture.

Steak sando!! They had me at steak + onion jam!!

Gyu Plus is an A+ in my book!!! I had Gyu Plus back in the day and so glad to see they moved to a new spot and the quality and taste is still there!! :) The shokupan bread is a fluffy pillow of yumminess that cradles the steak with onion jam....YUM!!! The spicy chicken katsu was just as good with the katsu being juicy and tender! I can't wait to try their shrimp sando and egg sando next! These sandos are perfect for half and halfing with your eating buddy too!! Also, you got to get the togarashi chips! You see a heaping stack of them when you order, so how can you not?! I was full but kept munching on them! The lady at the counter was so sweet and told us about Gyu Social in the evening hours! Will have to check it out sometime! :) Come for amazing sandos, fun encounters at the communal table, and leave with a full belly!!

Came by on a Sunday at noon. Busy would be an understatement. Line that extended out the door onto the patio area. Line moved rather quickly though. Menu was concise in their offerings. Went with the Steak Sando, Togarashi Chips, and the Egg Sando. Took a bit to get our order, but I would say it was worth it. Steak sandos were perfectly pink (in my opinion) with sauce pipettes for extra flavor. Egg sandos were nicely blended with plenty of filling so there were no gaps between the slices of bread. My family gobbled it all up with nothing to spare except for their smiles. Definitely hit the spot for us. Will be back soon!

Somehow we stumbled into Izakaya Go, and let me tell you... this place is legit. First off, they have happy hour after 10 PM, which already makes it a win for late-night Vegas wanderers like us. Everything we ordered hit the spot. The tonkotsu ramen was comforting, rich, and flavorful. Exactly what you want after a long night out. The deep-fried shrimp and tuna were fried perfectly with a nice crisp texture. If it wasn't so late, I probably would've kept ordering more. But the real star? The Otoro (bluefin tuna belly) sashimi. Absolute must order. It literally melts in your mouth and had zero fishy smell, just pure buttery goodness. My wife isn't usually a sushi person, but she ended up loving it and ate way more than I expected. That alone should tell you something. If you're in Vegas and looking for a late-night Japanese spot that actually delivers, put Izakaya Go in your Yelp bookmarks. Your future late-night self will thank you.
