I would give this place 20 stars if I could. I spent 90 minutes yesterday at the Apple store in…read moreSouthlake, only to leave frustrated and without my problem resolved. This morning, a friend suggested I check out MacDaddy's in old town Carrollton, and I called them first thing to ask if they could do a battery swap on my iPhone X. They said sure, stop by anytime. Y'all, I was in and out in 20 minutes! TWENTY MINUTES!! They changed the battery for half of what the Apple store was going to charge and even threw in a free screen protector! The young man who did the repair also patiently answered all my questions about two older MacBooks I'm having issues with. And I learned they have phenomenal deals on refurbished Apple products. Said the screen was on "back order" then when I finally got ahold of him he said he had the screen the whole time. I also checked online when he told me they were on back order and found plenty of iMac screens available. I just got my iMac back with a cracked screen and tape holding it together. There are also visible gaps between the screen and computer and based on the dings that weren't there previously, it appears he dropped it. He also kept pressing me for my password, which I denied because I know he doesn't need it. Then he admitted later that he doesn't need it. Kirk is the definition of a slime ball. Do not do business here. He also made me wait an extra day, in addition to the over month long period he had my iMac, because he was "waiting on the adhesive". He didn't use the adhesive. He taped it together.
