I saw Dr. Webster a few years ago for normal well woman checkup. She indicated I was heading toward osteoporosis so prescribed boniva. I the first pill on a Saturday, and went to workout with my trainer as normal that morning. By Sunday I started feeling not so great but was functional. I was thinking I might have picked up something at the gym, but it was mid July and the temp was high 90s in TX. Sunday night I didn't sleep at all, I felt like I'd been run over by 10 trucks, I had a fevor, by back was hurting, and I was freezing and could not get warm. It's 90 some degrees out in TX I'm in the house with no ac on I've got 4 blankets on me and still freezing to death, and I'm sitting on a heating pad for my back!!! This did not come from the gym. At 2:00 a.m. I'm on the internet looking up information on this drug and everything I see is women who have taken this drug had the same symptoms I've experiencing. A retired nurse had to go to the ER because she got so dehydrated because she couldn't keep anything in and Pedialyte wasn't working fast enough to rehydrate her. I have several connections to the healthcare world and texted one of my best friends who happens to be a physician's assistant in a small town in CO. It was 6:00 a.m. her time and I knew she would be up and heading to the hospital soon. She called me immediately and told me to stop taking that crap and told me how to get myself healthy. She also suggested I call Dr. Webster and discuss an alternative. I did exactly as my friend suggested and was feeling better before Dr. Webster was even in her office. When I spoke to Dr. Webster she even DENIED knowing boniva had such side effects. REALLY?????? It's all over the internet and a small town PA knows the side effects of this drug but a seasoned gyno that prescribes this drug a lot, DOESN'T know the effects of a drug she prescribes to her patients on a regular basis? I highly doubt that. What she REALLY doesn't know is that I've worked in the medical field nearly half of my career and I know how the relationship and kickbacks work from drug reps to docs. So, just be honest w/ me Dr. Webster and tell me that your incentives from the drub rep for boniva rewards your greatly when you push that crap onto your patients. Don't tell your LIES and act like you don't know. Because if you really don't know, perhaps you should read up on the chemicals your' pushing on your patients!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! read more

Where do I start? 8 months in she spoiled our gender surprise. Also insisted she *would* be doing a cervical exam after I'd already declined (she had no valid medical reason to do one). When I attempted at that point to switch doctors, her staff ignored my repeated faxed requests for records to be transferred, leaving me at the last minute without a new doctor because nobody would accept me so late. Tip of the ice burg. Verbally abusive to me in labor twice (in two different pregnancies). Oh, and the reason she delivers 80% of her patients is because she schedules inductions for them alllll. read more

Her staff is unprofessional gives bad customer service will just take your money and don't care about their patients. Only minor concerns are taken care of very quick and dismissive. Becareful if you have something serious because if there's a risk of some sorts they will ignore it and you have to go to a specialist later on. read more

This practice will ignore your requests for records transfer, and Dr Webster herself will be pissed off if you end up in labor at a time thats not convenient for her. She was verbally abusive during 2 of my labors, and during the week after my second birth with her, I had severe complications leading to hospitalization during which she failed to show up at the hospital at all.
