I visited Cancun last month and the day we flew back we decided to grab something to eat at this spot, not only because of its popularity but also because it was packed and we figured that was a good sign. Top recommendation is the guacamole. They come prepared it at the table, you get to try it and decide if it needs something else (salt, spice, etc). It was delicious. For the burger we went with their award winning "Mac attack" or "Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese Burger" ... an over-the-top creation with a juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, creamy six-cheese mac 'n' cheese, fried onions, Donkey Sauce, and garlic butter on a brioche bun. Sadly, it was not expected. Lacked flavor and just now what we thought an award winning burger would be. If I were to return I'd order some wings and nachos and of course the guac.
The worst! The staff was rude and incredibly out of touch with the restaurant industry Let alone one that's in an airport! Time isn't exactly of the essence she you're about to fly out- having knowledge of the foods ETA is crucial I seriously still can't believe the fact they were that off and Shan asked for a Togo bag - THEY seemed offended lol WTF
Stopped in for breakfast before my flight out. The options are limited for breakfast so prep for that. We were promptly seated and waiter came right away. I ordered iced coffee which hit the spot! My plate of bacon (like one piece cut in half) 2 sausage, tater tots with peppers and onions, toast and scrambled eggs came out very quickly. Portion size for me(not a big eater) was decent and no complaints. It is airport priced (code for over priced). All in all it did what it was supposed to for an early flight out of Cancun
Good food, very large portions! The service was good considering the full house, all servers were attentive to their assigned tables. The atmosphere about the same as any other airport restaurant busy and hectic lol. But overall I was pleased. I find it a nice touch to have a smokers section on the patio for those individuals. Would definitely come back to visit Happy Yelping
I cannot believe that they sell burgers that look like this! We were in the cancun airport waiting to fly home and we usually order Johnny rocket burgers for lunch but we decided to give guy fieri's a try. Talk about dissapointed! How in the world do they justify serving food that looks like this?? This was supposed to be a double cheeseburger and as you can see, there was not even enough edible meat to make a half of a single burger. One of the patties was so burnt and smashed flat that it ended up being a charcoal sandwich. There were supposed to be two patties. It was supposed to be a double. But the other pattie wasn't even a whole patty. It was three different pieces of hamburger meat that didn't resemble a burger at all. One dried up piece of cheese on the top of the burnt to a crisp patty. So basically no cheese. I see why they pile on the mediocre toppings, to hide the fact that they aren't burgers at all! Guy Fieri should honestly be embarrassed, ashamed and appalled that his name is associated with this restaurant, I mean, it's his restaurant right? Promising great food and it couldn't have been any worse. Oh, wait. It does get worse. Guess how much our two burgers and fries cost?? Just Guess...$80 with a tip and they absolutely did not deserve any tip because the service was just as bad. The waiter basically shoved us to a table saying he would be right back to take our order and after 15 minutes he still wasn't there. We could have ordered from the kiosk and gotten our food faster (not that the food was worth waiting for at all) but we could have saved on the tip, which honestly doesn't even matter. Do not order from here! Anything would be better than this terrible awful burger, if that's what you want to call it. Fieri's great reputation, gone in a flash!
The food is cool. We were waiting for our flight and we had some time so we decided to grab a bite from Guy Fieri restaurant. The service was OK. Our waitress barely waited on us and we had to constantly look for her if we needed something. Even when our food was brought out, she was nowhere around and we ended up getting another waitress to help us with getting a fork and a refill on our drink. The food is a lot it's unique but in a good way, but I will have to say that they are incredibly overpriced.
I might be a foodie, but I'll never be too good for a tourist trap. In the sea of tourist traps that is Cancun airport, I was excited to see this one because I love Guy Fieri of course. We had like two hours to kill and the restaurant was super fun inside. I didn't take as many photos as I thought I guess! Nice menus and fun drinks and included souvenir glass, a guac cart, random episodes of his shows playing everywhere, cute punny menu titles, it was cool and the food was actually good! (lol) my friend HAD to do the guac cart. It was cute and you could personalize it but I'm not really one to order guac anywhere, but it was good. I had to try this obscene burger on the menu and it sounds good after having less than great resort food all week. Bacon, Mac and cheese burger? Yes, please. It was as expected and huge and gooey and flavorful. The fries on the side were like a mixed bag of waffle, crinkle, sidewinders, wedges and all seasoned well. I saw a blu-sabi sauce (blue cheese wasabi) on the menu and I had to have it and it was great! I am going to make it at home. It worked so well together. If you're stuck in Cancun airport, this is a decent option, especially if you love food network. I don't gush over celebrities, I love food network and chefs. *price is in Mexican pesos and was about $25, airport prices suck but it wasn't insane.
This was our first time trying a Guy Fieri chain. The food smelled really great and each plate that came out the kitchen looked really appetizing. Luckily, the food was as good as it smelled. The ceviche was freshly made right in front of our table. The guy who made our ceviche even let us try it out before giving us the plate and moving on to next table. Because it was in the middle of the day the restaurant was very busy so at times it did feel like waiter didn't come to table as much as we expected for refills. Other than that it was a good place to eat for an airport.
Dined here while waiting for my flight to depart. The prices weren't too bad. The food was ok - definitely satisfied my hunger. I ordered the Garlic Butta Wings and fries and ordered churros for dessert. The flavor of the wings was good and even though I asked for them to be cooked hard, they were still not hard enough for me. Regarding ambiance, the atmosphere is very lively and the music selection was mostly good.

This place has really bad reviews, but we actually thought the food was really great, it came out fast and our service was really friendly! We ordered the ahi poke tacos, they were ok , nothing great. They had a lot of filler stuff inside and a little tuna. The ribs and brisket were fantastic! And the churros were crispy and sweet! Very greasy food, long wait times. No dietary options. Unfortunately not very GF/(V)(VEG) friendly otherwise. Good service from the counter lady though! I wish the food matched the quality of the people and the service. The restaurant was clean and the people were friendly. read more

Burgers are delicious! Good portion and fast service. It's on the pricey side! The burger has real meat unlike many burgers we tried in the airport. The donkey sauce is highly recommended. read more

Got the trashcan nachos as a snack before our flight home from Cancun. They were delicious we ate the entire plate. Highly recommend grabbing a quick meal here before your flight out! Pros: food and fast service Cons: expensive read more

Clean. Staff was nice. Nothing was wow. I realize this is an airport location but for a guy that talks about huge flavors, there wasn't huge flavors. Maybe a non-airport location would be better (food wise). If this was just a bar with no food, I would've rated it a little bit higher. read more

Like many of the other reviews I've read, I tend to agree with "it is what it is". I'm not normally someone who has a sit down meal at an airport in a restaurant but with lot's of time to kill we figured it was our best option. I'm still giving it a 4-star rating because service was fast, friendly, and there was nothing wrong with the food, it was just standard in my opinion. Despite a busy day at the airport and many lines at the fast food spots, we were seated right away. Our server was quick to tend to us with our beverage order and the food was quick to arrive. I had the original burger sans onion ring with fries - it was messy with their special 'donkey sauce' but overall it was good and the bun was a toasted brioche. We didn't order alcoholic drinks but people around us did and they looked delicious. I was happy they offered Dr. Pepper (my guilty pleasure I allow myself once a year) and ordered it to end off what was a great vacation in Cancun. read more

Obviously, I don't think anyone is expecting fine dining here - especially at the Cancun Airport but just warning you that it was pretty expensive even for airport food I'd say! We were quite tired from the long check in lines/security so we just ate here since it was one the first places we found with seating. Cobb salad was $375 pesos or about $18.75 Usd Burger was $436 pesos or about $21.8 usd Bottle or water was $117 pesos or about $5.85 usd. I was pretty amused by the fries which on the menu say are seasoned and are not seasoned - the amusing part was it was like a fry medley, you'd get a crinkle fry, then a round potato slice, straight fry, waffle fry. Can't say I've ever seen that before! The mac and cheese burger came stacked - it was huge so if you're starving - definitely get this but be prepared for a messy experience since it's too big to eat as presented. Service wasn't too bad, they were pretty busy so I think they were just doing the best they could! read more

Although it's expected for food at the airport to be expensive, I was pretty disappointed when we found out that the waters we ordered with our food ended up being $7.55 EACH. I would not have ordered water if I had know it was going to be $7.55 for a warm water bottle. The food wasn't the best but not awful and the food portions large, so it almost makes it worth the price. Service was fine and the restaurant was clean. read more
The make the ceviche right in front of your in this little travel cart, which was cool. We tried the trash can nachos, brisket sliders, and the cajun pasta all were good. Trash can nachos is enough to share for sure. To be in a airport this was a pretty decent experience. If you're on a long layover be sure to stop by. read more

Honestly, this is the perfect location for this type of restaurant: After throwing down margaritas and tacos all week you find yourself at the airport and it's one last meal before heading back home to reality. With montezuma's revenge just starting to kick in, now is the perfect time to follow up with a mammoth serving of American proportions: burgers, ribs, and of course lots of carbs! It's like a Mexican - American trade alliance all swirling in your stomach all at once just in time to sit a pressurized container. Of course nothing could go wrong! The drinks here are delicious and the servings are generous. Prices are steep but it's the airport in the chinsiest tourist mecca in the Americas. I highly recommend the nachos, served in a glorious high tower of delicious gooeyness. read more

So you think you made it through your Cancun/Mexico vacation without getting massive diarrhea? Well the airport right before departing for home will get you! What can go wrong when you eat at the only airport restaurant open and endorsed by the legend himself, Guy Fieri? What can go wrong when you order a typical breakfast of eggs, bacon, tater tots, and coffee? Everything! First of all the waiter we had gets a perfect 10/10. It was worldclass service. However I should have listened to my instincts when I saw the turkey sausage. It looked funny, smelled worse, and had an awful aftertaste. No one at my table wanted theirs and me being the eating machine I am was like "hey free food!" Nothing is free in life. I spent over a week in Mexico and dodged water and anything suspicious. I was doing great. Then I got screwed by Guy Fieri's sausage!!! :( read more

STEER CLEAR. Food is gross and outrageously over priced. I'm sure Guy just sold his name for this restaurant but I'm not sure I can even watch his shows this food / service / pricing was so bad. O M G. avoid. read more
My friends and I were coming back home from vacation and we saw this place at the airport. I was starving and knew I'd be on a long flight coming home, so while we waited for our plane, we decided to get some food. I ordered the ringer burger without the bbq sauce. It took about 10-15 min for all of our food to come out. The burger itself was amazing and HUGE!! I've never had a burger so big in my life. I had a hard time biting into it, and it pretty much broke apart but that was to be expected with how big it was. I loved that the fries were different types of fries like crinkle cut, wedges, shoestring, you name it, it was there. I do like many different styles of fries, so I thought this was pretty unique and clever. For the price, this was definitely worth. After my boyfriend saw my photo of the burger, he wants to try the Guy Fieri restaurant on the strip, so we will definitely be heading there on our next date night! read more

Let me start this review off with a discussion between me, The Doctor and The Queen. They were trying to remember what boy band Guy was in before he started do Diners, Drive‑Ins and Dives. HAHAHAHAHA! I kid you not. Second point of business: airport food in Mexico is way more expensive than food on the outside. I personally think all of the airports must have some sort of code where they have all decided to charge the same prices for food and drink anywhere on planet earth. That said, we decided to eat here because we wanted table service. The reason for this decision: the airport boast a large food court, but last year when we ate there, we all got hit with Montezuma's Revenge in mid-air. I broke several FAA rules during take off to get to the bathroom while on ascent. Fortunately I was in first class and didn't have to climb uphill too far to get to the bathroom before my take off. Back to Guy's place... we were seated immediately and our waiter was johnny on the spot. The restaurant has an outdoor area where you can smoke I believe. A guacamole cart showed up out of nowhere with a gentleman there to make it my way: extra cilantro, lime juice, seasoning, tomatoes and onions. It was delicious. For lunch, me and The Queen got the 14 hour brisket on garlic toast, The Doctor got the Tortilla soup, our friends got the Chicken Avocado BLT and the Bacon Mac n Cheese burger. The brisket was actually pretty good....four nice size slices on top of texas toast, served with slaw and fries. The fries were weird as they were a mix of different types of fries: crinkle, waffles, and regular. That kind of threw me off for some reason. The chicken sandwich had grilled chicken breast, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, tomato, shredded lettuce and donkey sauce (no idea what donkey sauce is, but it does not sound appetizing on the surface). The burger was ginormous, with applewood smoked bacon, four-cheese mac n cheese, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and the mystery donkey sauce on a bun. They both said that the sandwiches were good. For dessert we split the churros....they were hot and tasty. If you are a soda drinker, I would say go alcohol. The Doctor decided to get a Coke, but no one drinks just one pop. The refills are not free, so this forces you to pay for the upgrade to a mug with unlimited refills. FYI if you are into that sort of thing, you have to take your receipt to the merchandise side of the restaurant to get a packaged mug you can take on the plane. Not sure how much this lunch set us back, but I would say the food was 3 stars, the service was 4 stars. Our waiter was amazing, very attentive and seriously on top of making sure we had what we needed. Even after we got the bill, he told us we could sit and hold on to the table as long as we wanted while waiting on our plane. And I didn't get sick on the plane. read more
If it wasn't such a cluster fuck to walk into this restaurant, I'd prob give it a better rating because the food was great! No wait to be seated, which was a plus. The staff had everyone bunched into 1 corner of the restaurant, by the exit to the beer garden. There were plenty of other open tables, but for whatever reason, they felt the need to pile everyone into 1 corner which was NOT social distancing. You can not sit outside here unless you spend $10 for a beer. No dinning outside, which seemed strange? Tables could be spread out a little better, especially during Covid times. As for the menu, Guy Fieris has something for everyone. My party had a burger, salad, Vegas fries & the chicken tenders. The order of fries was HUGE. All the sauces that came with the fries were excellent. I am a huge fan of sauces. The tenders were perfectly cooked. Burger was excellent. Salad, your basic Cobb salad, nothing to write home about. All served with plastic silverware. Many drinks to choose from on the menu as well. The margaritas looked fantastic but I ordered a mule which was pretty average. My husband ordered a Pepsi which wasn't brought to our table until after we received our food. Apparently the server forgot, but not a big deal. They had a few desserts but at this point, we were too full. I'd probably recommend Guy Fieris but hopefully next time, I can visit a location outside of an airport! read more
The food was just ok, nothing to write home about. I ordered the veggie burger which they indicate contains egg whites which leaves no real option on the menu for strict vegans. I thought the service was pretty good, our female waitress was kind and attentive and we were sat quickly. At the end of the day, the food was edible and it did not get me sick. read more

This is an airport restaurant so I'm reviewing it through the airport food lens. Our flight was delayed two hours so we had plenty of time to kill. We ordered the pork sliders, a cheese burger, and a turkey burger with no onions. The pork tacos were fine, I generally dislike barbecue sauce on tacos but these were okay. Both of the burgers were massive, in part from the side salad stuffed into the burger. The included fries were a mix of traditional cut, waffle fries, and thick spirals which was interesting. Beef burger quality was okay, I have paid 16 dollars for worse burgers in the states and again - airport restaurants have very low expectations. The turkey burger had onions even though the waiter double checked to confirm we wanted them off. I'm assuming this issue was with the back of the house. Be sure to check your food if you have any food allergies. Besides the onion hiccup service was good. We weren't rushed to pay or leave and the ambience is nicer than the food court and the rest of the airport. read more
So first you have to accept that any restaurant on an airport will have higher than normal prices. So once you get over this the food is actually very good. We had the chicken strips which are a meal for. We added the Buffalo sauce as well. We added the chicken wings which were pretty good. Overall good quality food, higher prices for the location but worth it given the alternatives. read more

LOUD, crowded and almost worth it! The service is fantastic - better than our resort Diamond Club! Drinks are airport drinks. Prices are HIGH, High, High, so plan ahead for the wait for your plane. Table side guacamole is made to order and plentiful - Yummy! Cajun chicken was good - aside from the glop of chicken in the bowl. Veggie burger was okay. Overall, a good experience for an airport restaurant. read more
***LIKELY BEST AMERICAN OPTION IN AIRPORT*** ***FOOD OVER PRICED AMD BARELY AVERAGE*** I came here on a recent Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty. I had the mac and cheese burger and Cesar's salad. The burger meat was of slightly above average quality. The mac and cheese made is sloppy and hard to eat. It is a poor texture choice and definitely not worth the USD$20 price. The salad was good and I would recommend it. read more
This sit down airport restaurant was fairly busy but had a table for us within 5 minutes. Our group was excited to try it since it's Guy Fieri's restaurant and a few even bought their souvenir T-shirts. All in all, the food was decent and filling. The fries were crispy and came in a variety- which I've never seen done before. I thought I would save half the sandwich for my flight but I only had a small bite left at the end so idk what I was thinking read more
