Came here during lunch time at the airport and I had 45 mins before boarding. My waitress was aware and My food came out quickly, with in 10-12 minutes. Super happy I was accommodated with quick service. We got the BBQ Burger and it was enough for 2 people. Absolutely massive and messy to eat. My husband and I actually split the burger. I visited Cancun last month and the day we flew back we decided to grab something to eat at this spot, not only because of its popularity but also because it was packed and we figured that was a good sign. Top recommendation is the guacamole. They come prepared it at the table, you get to try it and decide if it needs something else (salt, spice, etc). It was delicious. For the burger we went with their award winning "Mac attack" or "Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese Burger" ... an over-the-top creation with a juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, creamy six-cheese mac 'n' cheese, fried onions, Donkey Sauce, and garlic butter on a brioche bun. I cannot believe that they sell burgers that look like this! We were in the cancun airport waiting to fly home and we usually order Johnny rocket burgers for lunch but we decided to give guy fieri's a try. Talk about dissapointed! How in the world do they justify serving food that looks like this?? This was supposed to be a double cheeseburger and as you can see, there was not even enough edible meat to make a half of a single burger. One of the patties was so burnt and smashed flat that it ended up being a charcoal sandwich. There were supposed to be two patties. It was supposed to be a double. But the other pattie wasn't even a whole patty. It was three different pieces of hamburger meat that didn't resemble a burger at all. One dried up piece of cheese on the top of the burnt to a crisp patty. So basically no cheese. I see why they pile on the mediocre toppings, to hide the fact that they aren't burgers at all! Guy Fieri should honestly be embarrassed, ashamed and appalled that his name is associated with this restaurant, I mean, it's his restaurant right? Promising great food and it couldn't have been any worse. Oh, wait. It does get worse. Guess how much our two burgers and fries cost?? Just Guess...$80 with a tip and they absolutely did not deserve any tip because the service was just as bad. The waiter basically shoved us to a table saying he would be right back to take our order and after 15 minutes he still wasn't there. I might be a foodie, but I'll never be too good for a tourist trap. In the sea of tourist traps that is Cancun airport, I was excited to see this one because I love Guy Fieri of course. Nice menus and fun drinks and included souvenir glass, a guac cart, random episodes of his shows playing everywhere, cute punny menu titles, it was cool and the food was actually good! I had to try this obscene burger on the menu and it sounds good after having less than great resort food all week. Bacon, Mac and cheese burger? Yes, please. It was as expected and huge and gooey and flavorful. The fries on the side were like a mixed bag of waffle, crinkle, sidewinders, wedges and all seasoned well. I saw a blu-sabi sauce (blue cheese wasabi) on the menu and I had to have it and it was great! I am going to make it at home. It worked so well together. I say it is hard to say the food is worth the price, but don't be surprised of a party of 2 with waters is 50-60$ this is mostly because they charge wild prices for things like water ($6), side of ranch $4, side of jalapeños, 2 oz ramekin, $4. Just crazy stuff like that. We split the trashcan nachos, which is huge, and still paid over $50. This is explained away as it is an airport location and all the resorts drop everyone off hours in advanced, so you options for good food is limited, but still. Hurts to see the price at the end. The service, excellent, even when packed, the server chats with you and treats you well. The ambiance is tough, it is loud and packed.... not a lot of room. This was our first time trying a Guy Fieri chain. The food smelled really great and each plate that came out the kitchen looked really appetizing. Luckily, the food was as good as it smelled. The ceviche was freshly made right in front of our table. The guy who made our ceviche even let us try it out before giving us the plate and moving on to next table. Very interesting that there is a patio for smoking off the back of the bar so the closer you sit to the bar the more you can smell the cigarette smoke. The ambience is fun so it invites you in with high expectations. The trash can nachos looked amazing (and yes, they dump them on your plate through a little tin trash can, very creative). So we arrived at the airport way before our flight based on shuttle. Discovered Guy Fieri's after asking an airport employee about any areas to smoke to avoid going back through security. They have an outdoor patio that is smoker friendly as long as you spend $10 which is easy to do when we wanted lunch anyway! Our server was so friendly and attentive for our small group. The waitress left our food to sit while their gigantic staff of like 12 hung out and visited for approx 15 mins... mind you there are maybe 4 other guests here. I would have mentioned this prior to finishing my cold meal (I was very hungry) but our waitress didn't bother to check in a single time. Interesting... We stopped here in the Cancun airport T3, while we were waiting for our flight. The restaurant is incredibly large and even has outdoor seating on the terrace. Thankfully, it didn't take long for my party of 3 to get sat. This was the first restaurant I had been to outside of my resort and the first of Guy Fieri's, so I was pretty excited. While trying to figure out what to eat, I couldn't help but notice all the mouthwatering dishes and how large they were. I figured with it being my last day of vacation, I could splurge and get a side of fries and tenders. The fries came first and were less than desirable. No seasoning despite them being listed as having it, some were soft while others were crunchy, and they were just blah. Unfortunately, the tenders were a miss as well. They were more like chicken cutlets due to their size. They had a hint of seasoning by hint I mean a sprinkle. It wasn't that noticeable and at that point, I felt like I was eating a large, crunchy chicken breast. So disappointing. The service was pretty good, despite it being packed. So they wouldn't let us split the bill, plus they charged us for bottled waters, and you have to divide each dish by 17 to figure out how much the cost is in American dollars.
