When my partner called to get this set up, office staff gave them him two different weeks that the team could come by. They (as all gutter cleaning companies around this time of year) do book up pretty quickly, so the sooner ahead you can call, the better. The best part is that this service is completely contactless, and perfect for the outbreak we're experiencing here in Monroe county. They hop on your roof, leave you the bill, and are on their way in no time. We have an 1800 sq ft house and cost was ~$150, and this company will give you a free estimate prior to arriving. The lack of "oh no how much is this going to be" scariness was amazing and allowed us to budget accordingly. I told them my house was 100+ years old with old gutters in need of immediate repairs and replacement in the spring. The rep said no problem and asked zero questions about what type of gutters I had. He just pushed to schedule an estimate with no information. At the time, it did feel a bit slick, but I went ahead anyway as they were working on two houses in my historic neighborhood. The phone rep scheduled my estimate for a specific time, in the afternoon, 2 weeks out. On the scheduled day, a young kid showed up in the morning instead because he was in the area and it was convenient for him. He emailed me the estimate and it was for the wrong service. He did return to correct the estimate, but I found him resistant to do anything but sell me expensive new gutters. It was obvious he was trained to immediately tell me how useless it was to do repairs. It felt slick and self-serving, not honest. I was quickly turned off. Again, I had told their rep when I called weeks ago, that the house is painted next spring. Why waste my time and schedule an estimate only to show up and decline repairs because the house has gutter pins? They are working in my neighborhood and they are aware it's a neighborhood of 100+ year old houses. Seems a 'gutter expert' would be well aware of pinned gutters being a potential issue and ASK about it when the estimate is requested. My impression is this company wants to build a professional gutter service using fancy signs, a slick estimating process (that unfortunately they themselves don't follow), cheap labor, and cheap materials put up with a fast install installation. If you're looking for a fast and basic gutter job that doesn't pay attention to your house, they may work for you. However, if you in a historic home and are looking for quality gutters from a company who understands how houses are built and respects your time as a homeowner, I would stay away.

I have started working with Summit Exteriors to fix my house, which was affected by hail damage…read more They began replacing the roof and received the insurance check (for the complete house repairs), but now they are not responding to my requests to fix the rest of the damages in my house (siding, windows, and garage door). After they received the check from insurance, they have been ghosting me. Called and left messages several times, sometimes they sent a message saying that production will contact me, but it never happened. Updated on 2026-01-27 I am still waiting for the door garage, siding and window replacement to be completed (see pictures), they completed only the roof and gutter replacement. The Summit Exterior is currently holding my remaining balance for these services, and they agreed to return this balance to me so I can hire another contractor to finish the remaining work. This agreement was made on November 17, 2025, with the general manager (Alex) and the owner of Summit Exterior (Andrew). As of today, I am still waiting to receive the check. Their justification is that they need to complete another project before they can release my money. Until I receive the remaining balance, I cannot consider the case closed with Summit or proceed with completing the project. Updated on 2026-05-14 I have finally completed the repair of the hail damage to my house after almost two years--definitely NOT thanks to Summit. I had to hire another contractor to finish the work and pay out of pocket, since the remaining insurance funds are still being held by Summit. I am currently consulting with an attorney to explore the possibility of taking legal action to recover my money. Summit keeps promising a refund, but they have failed to follow through. I am extremely frustrated and tired of dealing with this company. To anyone considering hiring Summit--please think twice before doing business with them. I have heard from several others who read my review and shared similar negative experiences. My recommendation: avoid this company. Updated on 2026-09-25 I am still waiting for a refund of the remaining balance. Summit keeps promising the refund, but they continuously fail to follow through. On a weekly basis, I try to contact Andrew, who is supposed to be the owner, but he fails to respond. Occasionally, he replies with more promises, but the refund never arrives.
