A small local company that is both reliable, experienced and offers quality work at a fair price. We purchased our home here in Chehalis in October 2019 and we love it here! But as you and I both know, with home ownership comes home maintenance. We knew from our home inspection that we needed to repair or replace the leaking sectional gutter system around our house. We also noticed a couple of areas that needed repair to the existing gutters around our garage, wood shed and barn. Craig, the owner of Gutter Works is a hard working professional and takes his work and his business seriously. He is a gutter expert and custom fabricated our gutters on sight in seamless (long) sections to eliminate those leaky-dripping joints of our old gutters. I am so relieved we found an excellent and trustworthy contractor that does the job right the first time and for an unbelievable price! Well, I realize our price reflects the fact that we have a 1970's ranch style home the shape of rectangle... After they started the job, they noticed that some of the fascia boards were rotted, and said that it would cost an extra $260 to fix the fascia boards. I agree to that. Then, the foreman said that there were fewer fascia boards than they thought, and it was only going to be $200. I said "Cool!" Finally, after they were all done they realized there was only one board that needed to be replaced, and they only charged me $50. The thing I loved was they were honest, and lowered it to $50 even though I had agreed to pay the $260. Love these guys!

Initially, we thought we only needed gutter filters because our house is surrounded by fir and cedar trees. Leaf Guard would replace our gutters with their gutters and filters--that's all--for $25K! Leaf Filters wouldn't replace our gutters at all and install their filters in our existing 25 year old gutters for $16K. David Shore, who is a gutter expert/owner and not a company who is selling filters, explained that they would replace our gutters with the proper size (original ones were too small), add missing counter flashing between the roofing and the new gutters (very important!), new down spouts, new filters (of course), and add in several places "valley diverters" that would direct rain water into the gutters rather than creating a waterfall over the edges. Lastly, they spread moss killer on the whole 2-story, steep roof. Total price $16K and well worth it! Dave, the gutter expert not just a filter salesman, knew what our house needed and where to spend our money. Their expert installers, Cody and Daniel, completed the project in two days and each day they completely cleaned the entire work area with a magnet wheel, leaf blower as well as cutting up and hauling away the old gutters and downspouts. We would never have found this fantastic company if we hadn't gone to our local Home Depot pro shop where they referred us to High Point. They provided two separate estimates: one for the noisy downspout and another for a basic cleaning. When I asked why the estimate for the downspout was so high, I received a text from the estimator, Evan, saying that I was "not the right fit" for the company, complete with a smiley face emoji. The interaction came across as very passive-aggressive. I then attempted to schedule ONLY the basic cleaning (a separate estimate), because the project manager had not indicated that I was not allowed to do so, and I continued to receive automated reminders via text and email to schedule it. Then, Evan followed up with a passive-aggressive email, also complete with a smiley face emoji, continuing the interaction unnecessarily. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
