The flat screens in the store are hard to read, almost black. The hours listed on Yelp for this store are wrong. I am evaluating on the food served and not on authenticity of the cheesesteak. I don't feel I have the credentials to do that. As a fat man, I'll inform you, if you get their namesake sandwich you will not go hungry. I was honestly surprised at the flavors exploding in my mouth. The fries were nothing special and there was nothing wrong about them... they were fries. Maybe seasoned salt would be a good idea? They are not fast as in fast food. So think of calling ahead. The best steak and cheese (cheese steaks) around! It's about time. My husband decided to go here to get us lunch. He got the "gutbuster" and I had the cheese steak hoagie with provolone. When I tell you that these sandwiches are huge, I mean it. They are not skimpy on the condiments either. My sandwich had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sweet peppers, and jalapeno peppers. It was supposed to have ketchup and mustard, but I don't like that on my steak and cheese. When it comes to flavor, the sandwich had it. It was just the right amount of salt on the meat. The only dislike I had, was that my bread got soggy. I can tear up a greasy soggy sandwich, but I can't stand a sandwich that's soggy from something like wet lettuce. My husband loves his sandwich. His eyes was bigger than his stomach. He didn't finish his whole sandwich, but he tried. He said that he no longer will have to travel to "the other place," because this is better. The menu had a variety of options. They have wings and burgers. They have turkey burgers too. If you are greedy, hungry, and want a delicious steak and cheese, give this place a chance. Tried this place for the first time. It's a small place with a couple of tables outside, but no real indoor dining area. The staff is pleasant and efficient. I got a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was quite good. It was served between buttered. toasted bread. The sandwich had two sausage patties and was very filling. First time visiting. We ordered 2 cheesesteaks and 10 piece lemon pepper wings. The owner told the cook he wasn't sure if the wings were done all the way. Soon as we got in the car we checked our food the wings and fries were not cooked all the way at all. I pulled my sandwich out the bag and it immediately split through the paper and fell on my lap it was so soggy. Took the food back in to get our money back. When telling the owner the reason he says that chicken is done and have you ever ate at Gutbusters. But recall he second guest that the chicken wasn't cooked. Really tasty omg, i waited 30 mins and I'm from Philly. Super excited to see they call them hoagies. Got a manager combo and a full 12 inch. The cashier is super nice and friendly. My only complaint would be overly salted fries. The steak is spot on just be careful to customize what you want on it. read more

Might be closed permanently. Tried going there around the middle of June. Called before going, but no answer. That's not unusual since they've accidentally left the phone off the hook twice when I've visited, so I went anyway. There was a sign on the door that they would be closed for Renovations until June 28th. Bummer - Would be nice if they updated their voicemail with that info to save me the (quite long) trip. They definitely know what they're doing when they make a sandwich looked average when we walked in and was scared we wouldn't like it. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. Amazing flavors and a great amount of food. My brother can normally eat 2 chipotle burritos, and he was satisfied with just the Gutbuster Cheesesteak!
