But the bill was exurban and this was before the current high price of meat & everything else. My husband said that I would not want to know what he paid which means over $100. Waitresses only make like $2/hr and depend on tips for the rest of their income. My waitresses was here by herself besides the cook, she was responsible for waiting plus clearing tables, washing the dishes, manning the checkout, literally everything except the actual cooking. She's been here three days and did a very good job considering she is brand new. I hope she stays. She spent several minutes talking to me about my current trip, checked on me regularly, and checked me out accurately and quickly. Carlos is the cook. He makes some damn good fried pork chops!
