I called to complain and they told me that I would have credit for my next visit. The following week I called to confirm my credit and they told me they have no record of it. So I asked to speak with management and of course they told me there's no manager working. So the next morning I called and spoke with the owner Gus and he didn't care he just blew me off and told me to call back tomorrow and speak with management. First time back since the renovation. I will say it's a little more $ than the big chains. The only thing is that you get what you pay for. I had a dbl cheese bacon, and avocado burger. Burger was perfectly cooked. Plus for $2.40 you can make it a combo. You can choose french fries, fried zucchini, or onion rings; unlike other places you don't get just 2 or 3 zucchini's or a few onion ring's. I got a full basket of zucchini's with our burgers. We used to live in Nuevo and would drive to San Bernardino almost every weekend to eat at Gus Juniors in many years past. So we thought throwing our last $15 towards a breakfast burrito or two would be a nice way to spend our morning traveling to see family. The staff were nice enough and polite and willing to make small changes as requested to the flavorless logs they called burritos, however there was no getting around the idea of quantity over quality when it came to these breakfast behemoths. I normally love coming to this location. Recently, my orders have been incorrect 3 times in a row. The 1st time I contacted this establishment to let them know of the error I was told my order would be replaced the next time I came in. I went back in to claim the replacement order only to be told there was no record of it. Yesterday I came to this location and ordered 2 of the $6 box combo orders with cheese. As soon as I bit my burger I noticed there was no cheese on my burger. I then checked my husband's burger to see if his had cheese. No cheese on his burger either. I checked my receipt to make sure I paid for the cheese (I did). I called the restaurant to let them know once again my order was incorrect. The lady on the phone asked if I could come back to replace the burger. I explained that I was on the way to take my sister to work and could not return at that time. I gave her my name and told her I would try to make it back that day. Fast forward to today. I was unable to make it back yesterday to get the burgers so I went to get them today. The lady at the window recalls me calling about the burgers and request they be made. About 3 mins later she comes back to the window to tell me "next time we will not remake the order. We have a sign on the window for you to check your order before leaving." She also stated that next time they need the receipt(I had the receipt) and the food back. I was not told any of this during my initial call. She was also very rude when she handed the bag to my husband. He tried to purchase an additional ranch and she just walked away after telling us there was some in the bag. We wanted to purchase extra. We are in the midst of a pandemic. I will not purchase food from any restaurant who is taking food that has been eaten back. The cross contamination risk is too high especially when no one was wearing gloves or a mask while handling food. Long story short, I will not be returning to this location. They need some customer service training as well as sanitation training during this pandemic. This establishment is one of the reasons this virus will continue to spread. Wow! Could not believe it when I bit into veggieburger and nearly broke a tooth! Hard as a rock, literally but not frozen. Had to be so old that it was not even edible. When I got a refund, I got a half-ass "sorry about that". I have eaten here a few times and its not bad usually but waaayyy too expensive for the food quality.
