We…read morewere warmly greeted by the host who acknowledged our event and seated us in the back overlooking the brew room, very nice. It was my first visit to your restaurant though my wife has been here before with friends. Chad was our server. He pleasantly explained the drink and dining menus and took good care of us all evening. My bride had her favorite drink, The French Martini, and you guys nailed it for her! I was very happy with the 2025 Pils. Dinner was amazing, Skirt steak for her, brisket for me with Yukon potatoes following salads for both of us. The quality and taste of the food was great and makes us want to come back and sample other dishes. We received great service and a nice complimentary glass of champagne (with Ho-Ho's) to finish our celebration. At the end of the evening we received a big surprise when Chad came over with news that we had no bill to pay as my wife's daughter and her husband had secretly called to pay the tab! So thoughtful of them to treat us and to top off a memorable meal and milestone in our lives.

Bar program is strong. The short rib pot pie was a straight up winner. Rich, comforting, and not trying to be anything other than good food done right. The bone marrow lost me. Cooked well, but buried under too many microgreens and then oddly topped with tortilla chip strips. No smokiness either. It felt more confused than cohesive. Where it really started to miss was the overall approach. A lot of "the chef intends this..." type explanations. It ends up feeling like the food insists upon itself instead of just letting you enjoy it. That's the bigger issue. This place exists in a space where I don't think most people want to meet it. Not casual enough to relax, not refined enough to justify the performance. Bottom line: good drinks, great pot pie, but the experience tries a little too hard.

    PITIFUL! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND PRODUCTS SOLD!…read more I started rehabbing a house in 2017 and sparred no expense as I was looking to have the least maintenance in the future. I spent well over a 100 grand on windows framing lumber sheathing zipboard doors siding fixtures trim decking railings and so much more. I purchased LP siding in late 2018 and was installed into early 2019. I paid extra to have the siding double coated which was presented as a 50 year warranty. Within a couple of years I noticed the siding chalking and the trim opening up like a sponge. In early 2022 I presented this issue to Scott Czapar who was my salesperson that I had been dealing with since day one. Schillings had purchased the LP siding from Cedar Siding INC which has since gone out of business. I spoke to both Scott and Kyle who brought this to the attention of Dean Schillings. I paid 7500 dollars in labor and 1500 in materials to have my house repainted. I was asking Schillings to cover half the cost of materials which was 750 dollars in which they denied. They suggested that the warranty was from the company they bought the siding from. I bought the siding from Schillings not anywhere else. I will not spend 10 cents at their company ever again. Scott Czapar has never been the issue and has always gone above and beyond to address the many issues that came about. Also anyone reading this please go out and look at your siding and see if it has failed! I can guarantee that I am not the only person this has happened to. Below are the before and after photos and so obvious of the failure of their product.

I walked into this place and was immediately greeted and respectfully guided to a flooring salesman ED Casiano. Ed was not just a salesman, he actually helped me create a design for my vision. I was lost and tired of looking and now I'm excited again. Thanks Schillings, thanks Ed.

They didn't have dishwasher pods in stock, and since I used have gift card half debit card... it was a little bit of a challenge getting the store credit. Louise from customer service was very involved with helping me get the credit back. I had to go in, and picked up some toilet paper while I was there to use up the credit. Jeremiah checked me out and he was so kind, went a got a cart for me since it was two huge containers and my car was on the other side near customer service. Minus one star for the trouble of going into the store twice for this store credit, but everyone was nice and didn't have to talk to a machine.

I project manage hundreds of property rehabs in our area, this is my first and last experience using this store location: I purchased a full kitchen cabinet package along with installation. What followed was a complete breakdown at every step of the process. Delivery alone took FOUR separate attempts: * One driver showed up, didn't call, and just left. * Another delivery was missing part of the order entirely. * I had to make four separate trips to the store myself just to try to sort things out. Then came the installation -- which somehow made things worse. The same third-party team that measured my kitchen showed up to install and then told me multiple cabinets don't even fit. How does that happen when THEY did the measurements? At this point, I'm out hundreds of dollars on a project that should have been straightforward. After I raised these issues, I was contacted and apologized to, and told they would "make it right." Since then? Silence. * I called the Pro Desk again yesterday and was told upper management would call me back -- no one did. * Tonight, at 10 PM, I received an automated email saying my cabinets are being canceled because they've been sitting too long. No resolution. No follow-up. Just canceled. So to recap: * Multiple failed deliveries * Incorrect/missing items * Installers who mismeasured and caused cabinets not to fit * Out-of-pocket costs with no resolution * Broken promises from management * Zero follow-through, ending in an automated cancellation email This has been a complete waste of time, money, and energy. If you're considering using Home Depot Schererville for a full kitchen project -- especially involving delivery and third-party installation -- I strongly recommend thinking twice. I'm still waiting for someone to actually take responsibility and fix this. Have now continued to still have the project unfinished with no reach out or help after coming into the store twice, calling every day. The most insane experience I've ever had. Will never come back to this location for anything.
