I discovered, The Lounge because I arrived super early for a wine tasting at another business in the plaza. My friend and I were immediately won over, when we saw the bar dog. Her name is, Lucy. I liked that the front window is tinted so you cannot see in, but once inside you can clearly see the outside. If you like to play slots while you sip your inexpensive cocktail, The Lounge has about 4 or 6 machines for you to play. If you do, good luck. Best of all, the drinks are super affordable aka "cheap". The bartender was friendly to us being newcomers. Seeing the rest of the patrons at the bar and every stool was full, you could tell they were regulars at this neighborhood watering hole. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely stop by for a cocktail.

There is a generously sized bar and with a few high top tables along the side wall. There are several slot machines if you're interested in trying your luck! The bar offers your standard fare of beer, wine, mixed drinks and shots. They offer a few prepackaged snacks including chips and nuts. We were able to order a small pizza. They offer the Dog Town frozen pizzas. These are among my favorite pizzas. And it paired well with the ice cold beer. Our bartender was friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

Do not let that deter you. The space is much larger than it looks. There is an indoor bar and an outdoor bar with some table games and outdoor seating. There is a separate pick up window for snacks. They offer pizza by the slice, hot dogs and other goodies. The food is cheap and the pizza was solid for the price. The games require tokens which you can purchase at the bar. They have just about every game you could want! Even had a Super Nintendo set up, Dane Revolution, and my all time favorite skee ball!! My Zennial spirit was happy for this bit of nostalgia.

Pizza , drinks are available for purchase. I did try a Pineapple Cider draft that was fruity and delicious. We played pinball , old school Super Mario Brothers , skee ball and Frogger to name a few. We must be getting old because both our arms started cramping and as of right now sore :) Two levels of childhood fun, dark and sultry, and plenty of drink holder spots to play your games. Spacious. Outdoor patio. Staff friendly. This was a really fun date .

Once we got there, we waited in the line for security. There were two staff members with metal detectors which is super appreciated, always love feeling secure in a big crowd. When you initially walk in, there's a huge sitting room with a bar before the actual venue. Tons of seating and it's a good place to chill before an event starts, or during if you need a break. We got a drink and headed in. It's spacious with a decent amount of standing room in front of the stage. There are several booths and vip areas for bottle service. We're not huge on massive crowds/ feeling elbow to elbow, so we stood in the back which was totally fine for us. Good standing room where everyone can still see. Sound quality and lights are great- this is probably one of the closest Vegas vibes you can get in the Lou. Servers, bartenders, security, staff were all kind and accommodating. It was wildly clean!! It was super busy and took a bit to get a drink. We had a lot of fun and I'd for sure come back if a concert struck my interest.

The bathrooms are so nice, and they have plenty of seating to chill before the show or take a break. Drinks from the bar were about $10 each for a basic rum and coke or vodka soda. Bartenders were nice and quick. I do wish the dance floor was bigger. Unless you rent a booth inside, there's not really any place out of the way to watch. And due to the amount of people on the dance floor, expect drinks to be spilled on you and the floor to be sticky. I wouldn't wear any shoes that are too nice and wish I would've thought of that before going. Still a good experience, though!

I have not been there…read moreis a few years because I moved from the Belleville area and it is now a 30-45 minute trip. Before I used to bicycle there if I was going for more than a drink or two. The club was always very friendly. I cannot remember every seeing Harold without him smiling. It is completely welcoming. It is not fancy though they do decorate for various events and holidays. It has a warm feeling, someplace you can take your family and just relax and let all your cares float away. It had 2 pool tables, lots of drink tables and a small dance floor. No one pressures anyone to do anything including keep drinking. I went there for years and most of the crowd was the same crowd depending on the night. Some busy, some slow. New people would become part of the regulars. Regulars, like me, would disappear. Kind of think the show "Cheers" with occasionally (not often by any means) men kissing men and women kissing women and some kissing both. When I would go by car, I would nurse a couple of drinks plus glasses of water/soda for hours (up to 6) and no one mentioned I had to buy some food or another drink. Oh and the water was always free and the soda usually was free. The crowd there really isn't into people getting drunk. Most customers are just carrying a very light buzz, and that is how every one wants it. I have been in a lot of hick/hillbilly/redneck bars. My aunt used to serially one them. I have been in a lot of stripper type bars. This club is most definitely not of that category. It just is not fancy.

Doors were supposed to open at 10, but they didn't until almost 20 minutes later. Foam didn't even start until after midnight, there was no paint at all (despite being advertised), and everyone was given a different excuse for why. The upstairs area that was promoted as part of the event was blocked off and roped off. On top of that, the floors were disgustingly sticky, covered with some neon wet mess, and the overall environment felt unsafe. When I reached out afterward about the misleading event details, neither the foam party hosts nor the venue seemed to care. Very disappointing experience - won't be returning.
