I came to Ryse for a concert and we had such a fun time. Parking at Ameristar is plentiful, and it was easy to locate the path to get to Ryse. Once we got there, we waited in the line for security. There were two staff members with metal detectors which is super appreciated, always love feeling secure in a big crowd. When you initially walk in, there's a huge sitting room with a bar before the actual venue. Tons of seating and it's a good place to chill before an event starts, or during if you need a break. We got a drink and headed in. It's spacious with a decent amount of standing room in front of the stage. There are several booths and vip areas for bottle service. We're not huge on massive crowds/ feeling elbow to elbow, so we stood in the back which was totally fine for us. Good standing room where everyone can still see. Sound quality and lights are great- this is probably one of the closest Vegas vibes you can get in the Lou. Servers, bartenders, security, staff were all kind and accommodating. It was wildly clean!! It was super busy and took a bit to get a drink. We had a lot of fun and I'd for sure come back if a concert struck my interest. read more

I've been to Ameristar many times and never knew of RYSE until we went to see Steve Aoki. What a hidden gem! The bathrooms are so nice, and they have plenty of seating to chill before the show or take a break. Drinks from the bar were about $10 each for a basic rum and coke or vodka soda. Bartenders were nice and quick. I do wish the dance floor was bigger. Unless you rent a booth inside, there's not really any place out of the way to watch. And due to the amount of people on the dance floor, expect drinks to be spilled on you and the floor to be sticky. I wouldn't wear any shoes that are too nice and wish I would've thought of that before going. Still a good experience, though! read more

This was my first time at Ryse and I liked it a lot! We came for dillon Francis and it was surreal that someone so popular and famous was playing at a small club in St Charles. The vibe here is very classy and upscale even though we were here for an edm show. It says there's a dress code but I saw people in some pretty casual clothing so it doesn't seem like that's a big deal, or maybe it was just the type of show I went to. Every interaction I had with staff was good, they were kind and tried to get everyone in to the club quickly. Drinks are rather expensive here, it was around $24 for a beer and a vodka redbull but that's to be expected. Sound quality was good and I really liked how there was space to stand and lean on behind the dance floor/VIP booths because I'm someone who likes to stand back and watch and not be caught up in a crowd. I've been to Ryse many times for shows, most recently for Malaa. Ryse books some amazing DJs and always offers affordable tickets. My only complaint on price is the ticketmaster fees - I could do without those. Ryse has 2 sections - when you first walk in there is a lounge area with a bar, and further inside is the dance floor and another bar. The bars are usually quite busy, but always get your drinks in a reasonable time. Drinks are typical club prices but again, reasonable. The lounge area is very nice for talking or hanging out. The dance floor room has plenty of space. Typically the floor gets pretty packed for the headliner, but I have always been able to find a space without as many people (just may not be super close to the artist, but you can see from everywhere). It's a nice layout that makes you feel really connected to the DJ/performer. You can't go IN the DJ booth but you are very close so it's easy to feel engaged. There are also dancers in the room throughout shows. Their skill definitely varies - I've seen some amazing dancers and I've seen some people just sort of waving around, but either way they are fun to watch and add to the club ambiance. They always have fun outfits/costumes, too. Staff is strict on their policies but nice about it. I feel very safe at Ryse - there is security and staff everywhere and they seem to do a good job of ensuring no weapons are brought in. There is always someone to help you if you have a question or need pointed in the right direction. Restroom attendant is SO nice and everything is very clean. Being new to St. Louis, this was my first visit to Ryse. It is located inside the Ameristar casino, Nice facility, I really like the fountain up front, and the barbecue ribs special on the sandwich board in front of one of the restaurants looked inviting and like a good deal. as a lifelong EDM aficionado, I was excited to come out to see Morgan Page perform! It was also fun to wear nice clothes and be in a more upscale environment, which reminded me of the nightclubs I used to visit back in Florida when I was younger. this club is also the largest nightclub within a casino that I have ever visited... Both the place inside Harrah's in New Orleans and the club inside the hard rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood Florida, the other two I have been to, were just a fraction of the size of this club, and I really dig the fact that they had a separate lounge area for chilling, and then the main room with the DJs and the dance floor! Complete with ample furnishings and a cute little fireplace, this massive lounge adjacent to the actual club is perfect for winding down, resting your feet, or socializing away from the dance floor. I also like that the bathroom attendants provided excellent service and a flawlessly clean bathroom without expecting tips or trying to sell me anything, some thing that is common at upscale clubs. no one should have to tip anyone just to go to the bathroom, so I appreciate RYSE not creating this awkwardness. I have to say that's another thing I like about this place, it's upscale without being pretentious. I felt welcome and not looked down upon. The drinks were surprisingly affordable, especially considering we were inside the club and not on the casino floor. my only complaint is that they only had hot water running in the sinks, presumably so you wouldn't refill your water bottles, but, whatever.. The sound inside the club was properly balanced, such that you could have conversation but also hear the music at a good pulsing level. overall I had a good time, and I would consider going back, but if I did I would probably spend the night at whatever accommodations are available because it sucks not being able to get a good alcohol buzz knowing that the police are pretty much waiting outside to bust us on our way back to St. Louis city or wherever. overall, I would recommend this place for a fun night out. read more

I've been to Ryse on two occasions and was thoroughly impressed. It is the closest you will get to Las Vegas here in the St. Louis Metro area. I attended the Steve Aoki and Diplo concerts and I couldn't complain about a single thing. I'm always looking to see who is on the event list to come back! read more

Let's start Terrible place to buy table service . No waiter the whole time we had to go to the bar to order more . Also the bouncer Todd was just going around being rude to everyone there , just because he was on a power craze . I think if they work a lot more on customer service they could do better but all the workers hate there jobs and are all in a bad mood . Spent a lot of money to come here. I got in just fine and then later went for a smoke break. Had zero drinks the entire time because I was the driver. When I came back from smoking the security said that I was too intoxicated to re enter. I then passed a sobriety test and the security still wouldn't let me in. On top of all of this, I still received no refund even after proving my sobriety. Seriously would never go again and the 20 people that were with me won't either because of how poorly we were treated. read more

My crew and I frequent RYSE at least once a month. Great DJs with plenty of room to dance in the main room. If you need a break the couches in the lounge are perfect. I had a VIP booth to celebrate my birthday which was awesome. The ladies serving are very attentive and accommodating. Francis and Matt behind the bar (when you aren't a VIP) always poor a good drink. Josh and Reggie on the dance floor keep the ladies safe. I'm female and I've had near wardrobe malfunctions (dress code is grown and sexy) with complete strangers (women) coming over to fix me. Everyone is usually very respectful and the vibe is great. There are many regulars so you become family quickly if you attend often. Would highly recommend coming out if you are looking for great EDM. read more
