I have heard such great things about this place. The advertising is great. My husband and I drove almost an hour to get here. I was a little disappointed. The fries were soggy. And I ate them immediately when I got in the car. The shrimp was well seasoned but I wasn't a fan of the texture of the batter. The service was great. Very fast and friendly. They do have a few booths that you can sit at. But its nothing fancy. I dont think I would go back unfortunately.

This was Supposed to be the ultimate...Listen it's wasn't worth it...$23 plus

Traveling for work and was looking for good New Orleans cooking, I found it here…read more I stopped for lunch, got hear right as the doors opened and the place was full by the time we got our drinks, good sign. Service was friendly and attentive, good atmosphere. The food only topped off the good first impression. For appetizers we got gator bites ( seasoning was so good they didn't even need sauce) second was the Andui and shrimp Mac & Cheese (amazing) I could have just eaten these and been satisfied. The shrimp and crayfish porboy was large and tasted so good, man the seasoning on the fries was so good. The batter on the fish was amazing as well. We left with food to spare and already planning on what we will get next time we're in town. And only 15min from the airport. Great job Lola!!

They offer a few different…read moreoptions--$17.99 for one pound, around the mid-$20s for two pounds (don't remember exact), and $39 for three pounds. The crawfish was cooked well and had great flavor. The only thing we noticed was they were a bit juicy--we think they may not have soaked in the boil as long, which usually helps absorb more flavor. My husband really enjoyed them (this trip was mostly for him!), but they were a little spicy for me. I ended up getting a Caesar salad with fried crawfish tails instead, and it was huge--I only made it through about half. We also got margaritas during happy hour--both were really good. I had the lychee margarita, and my husband got the mango with a Cajun rim. Service was very good--our waiter was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that we did feel a little rushed. It does say on the menu that they ask guests not to stay longer than 1.5 hours, so just something to keep in mind. They are pet-friendly, and we sat outside. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the tables had umbrellas, which was nice. The only other thing we weren't thrilled about was the credit card surcharge--it was around 3-3.5%, which feels a bit high, especially since most people don't carry cash anymore. Overall, a great spot--especially if you're a crawfish fan!

We went on a Friday evening & it wasn't very busy. James was our server & he was attentive & kind. They have a full bar, including an IPA on draft! Three of us ordered boils while my FIL had a fried shrimp platter. The breading on the shrimp was so good, crisp, light, & not overdone. It was truly the perfect bite. I'd have a hard time deciding between the fried shrimp & garlic butter shrimp boil next time! Both were that good. I wholeheartedly recommend Crab Du Jour!

Took myself out to Crab Du Jour, rare weekend without the kids and they aren't seafood fans. My server was fast and friendly and food came out very quickly as promised. This is one of those places that do "boil in bag with a bunch of spices" and I have come to realize that just isn't my thing. I like steamed seafood, maybe with some spices. I had Combo A (crab legs, mussels, and shrimp) + sausage, with the Old Bay seasoning. There was a bit too much seasoning it was all really salty, but I still thought it was good. Again, book just isn't my thing but that's a personal opinion, and I think if you like boil you will like it here. I felt the pricing was very fair as well. Overall a good experience! J.Ja

I will say the she crab soup was excellant... but we came for dinner and that was way far below standards considering the check came to $103.96 the soft shell crab for $29 only consisted of one and it was fried so so. we actually wanted it sauteed not fried.. and the check had a Hospitality charge besides the tax which together came to 13%......funny Matts burger 1 block away only charges sales tax...don't like being scammed bottom line..you would think eating the for second time would be better and not worse...think i just skip this HIGH PRICE BAR FOOD

We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful experience. We're new to the area, and our server was very helpful in giving us information about Summerville and its surrounding neighborhoods. The food was excellent. Everyone's fish was cooked perfectly; flaky and delicious. It tasted fresh and like how all fish should taste. I loved every bite. I also liked that they served the tartar and cocktail sauces in squeeze bottles. We tried the Flounder Po Boy Sandwich, fried, the Grouper Bites, and a Scallop Po Boy Sandwich, grilled. Everything was so good, although I think getting those scallops blackened would have brought the sandwich up another level. Still, it tasted great. Usually, I'm not a fan of seasoned fries, but these were addictive. A charming little shack of a restaurant! We will surely be returning!
