It's very hard to buy from this location. They never have anything in stock. No one seems to care if you are there, everybody is just hanging around. I went in today to buy 3 Sony headphones. No one around for help. One guy was chatting with others about LeBron James, another was on his phones watching a video with another employee. I had to interrupt them to try to buy the headphones. Come to find out I had to order the headphones and wait until Wednesday. I asked if a faster option is available like another store? I was told to check online but to call the store because online info is inaccurate. I just went ahead and ordered from Amazon the 3 sets will be here Sunday. Way, faster than Guitar Center. I signed up for introductory guitar lesson about 2 weeks ahead of time. Guitar Center sent me multiple emails welcoming me and reminding me that I was on the "RSVP List". When I arrived it was a huge disappointment. No one knew I was coming, and there was no class. Big waste of time and very unprofessional way to treat a customer. So i go shopping online for some new studio monitors and chose to get some used good condition krk rp8s. I waited about a week to get them shipped to this GC just so i wont have any problems...A week passes i go pick them up at the store, go home and open the boxes. Come to find out they gave me some cracked krk G3sss. Its funny because i saw these g3s being sold as a single unit but the picture i seen were g4s as a pair. So they just gave me some random damaged speakers they were trying to get rid of because they know no one wants damaged speakers. I call them back and tell them "ya gave me the wrong monitors" they are just like "come back and we will take care of you." In my mind i was like you were suppose to take care of me when i was there, no one bothered to check the pair to see if these were the ones i bought. I go back to the store explained to them what happened and they were trying to give me some excuse that the person who added the product to the website made a mistake and entered the wrong information. But the information and the picture said it was the krk rp8s so i don't know how anyone could be confused because it literally says it on the back what version it is. Then they said oh sometimes people in the warehouse don't know what they are doing they just get what they think is what you wanted and ship it out. So now they are changing their story trying to come up with something just so they wont have any fault. They also said this isn't the first time this has happened...Anyways they called the place where the monitors came from..another GC, and they tell them what happened. At first they said they couldn't do anything for me and they were about to give me my money back, but they found the product i was buying on the website and they ordered them for me with NEXT DAY AIR SHIPPING! I was like ok as long as ya fix this im a customer that will keep coming back. I think it was the manager that was talking to me thorough all this, i tell him can ya check these monitors and make sure they are the right ones when they come in? Hes like yeah i got you ill even call you when they come in. He also tells me that i missed the window for them to ship, it was already like 4 or 5 oclock so i will receive them monday because it was a friday. Then he tells me actually it they might come in on tuesday but if not for sure wednesday...SOoooo are ya even shipping them next day air? I told myself in my mind. I left the store and waited almost a week for the pair to come in. I go back to the store when they got there and had some different people working, no one called me either i had to check the tracking email they sent me. I tell them im there to pick up the monitors and the guy in the register goes and gets them. He come back with one box and give me a receipt while we were walking out, i told him what is this i ddnt order this. Hes like oh hold up i gave you the wrong paper work, i had to tell him i came to pick up some studio monitors. So he goes back to the computer re looks at my order, and thankfully a worker was there from the last time i came a remembered what happened to me last time hes like is this the only box? This box looks to small to hold two monitors. He checks it which they were suppose to already have done before i got there and yup only one monitor in there, so he tells the guy in the register to go see if there was another box in the back. He goes back and yup finds my other monitor. Im like wow good thing i looked at the paper work because i would of gone home with one speaker. So i go home open up that other box and it was damaged, the right pair but i ordered a good condition pair...At this point im like come on, again! I email this time so management knows whats going on. They give me a call back say they will try to figure something out. They said i can go drive all the way back to the store and return them and they will help me out trying to get a new pair...But the thing is the pair i got were the only ones they had that were used and in good condition so i knew they couldn't do nothing for me but to just give me my money back. I was suppose to go back and return them but i got tired of going back there so im just keeping them till they read this and hopefully they give me a new pair. And its funny because if they really really wanted to help, they would stop wasting my time and send ups or fedex to come to my place to return them, and of course i threw away the packaging already, just some simple boxes though... why do i need to go back to the store when they already know what i want. So to add all this up i wasted 2 whole hours driving back and forth to this guitar center and im still not happy. To top it off its been a few weeks and they are still trying to sell some g3s but in the title it says g4s, on the website so now i know that this wasn't a mistake and they are just trying to trick someone into getting the busted pair i originally got. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was never asked if I needed any help. And when I did one the of the sales associates had a vulgar attitude for a simple price check for the drum equipment I requested seeing that there was no price tag on any of the drum heads gear. I definitely will not be coming back to this location. read more

This is a great location simply because they care about you, young musicians and the community at large. Friendliest staff ever!!

I'm happy I don't have to drive all the way to Arlington to get my fix. I'm a gear head and this guitar center has a bit of everything.. Hadn't noticed any brass instruments but that's not my area of interest. The keyboard section is pretty bare bones but the guitar selection is out of this world.
