I know he targeted me because of my known fragile mental state at the time. I later told other staff members about my experience and the only thing I was told is "That's why he's gone now!" in a plea for them to get me to come back to their school. I can't speak for the current staff, but when I attended this school I was not protected.

Communication from the school has been excellent, and the directions for satellite days have been clear and easy to follow. I love the biblical integration woven into what they teach. They also get an hour of recess every school day, and my son LOVES it. I truly believe it helps him focus and learn better. The community and culture have been such a bright spot too. The events the school puts on for families have made it easy to get to know other parents, and we've already made some great connections. We're so thankful Mercy Prep is an option for our family, and we look forward to growing even more roots here!

We've had a genuinely positive experience in the classroom. However, our experience with the admissions and re-admissions process has been deeply concerning. While I understand that, as a private institution, the school has the right to make its own enrollment decisions, the process felt inconsistent and, at times, lacking in integrity. More importantly, I believe the way it is handled can have a significant emotional impact on children and families. Because of this, I am unable to rate the school highly overall. I have shared my concerns directly with the founder and hope the board will take the opportunity to review the feedback I sent carefully.

Another great thing is that all the teachers are very kind! Switching to Xplor was the best decision we made for our daughter!

My youngest who is 9 decided without permission that she was going to attend an after school event and not get on the bus (this is a separate issue that has being handled) My issue is that the staff member driving the bus thought it was perfectly ok for my 9 year old to tell them she is not supposed to be on the bus that day and also pulled her sister off of the bus. No objection from staff at all. No communication either. I only was notified of this situation when my child called me from an elementary school teacher of needing to be picked up from the school after the event. No one on this staff cared enough about the safety of my children to think to call me and confirm what was going on. The only thing they have to say for themselves is they understand how upsetting this situation can be. I emailed Xplor effective immediately my children will no longer be attending the afterschool program. I was then told by the principal Nicole Cox I am still required to pay 4 weeks of tuition because of what's stated in the contract. Funny thing is I can't find anything in the contract that says it's okay for them to take the word of a 9 yr old, not notify me, the PARENT, the one that PAYS for TRANSPORTATION/SUPERVISION and then act like it's no big deal. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CHILDREN. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR SAFETY!!!! Side note: There "billing department" is a complete joke to say the least. I have caught several overage in charges. And after I provide proof/receipts, I get the typical "Oh I apologize, that's our error, we will fix it." Days go by, it's still on my account. And I'm continuously having to babysit them on how to do their job. It's quite embarrassing.

Also, I found out there was like one teacher watching over 20 quids at times that's too many for one person even if the child doesn't have any disabilities, so after thinking, they was gonna work with me because I was working with the disability at a local school to get him in, I got a letter that they was like with his last day of this day. I didn't wanna send him back because he was coming home with too many bumps and bruises and issues so I literally paid for five days that he didn't even go. it's not the whole staff, but they really need to get more staffed.
