The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.

My husband reached out to Steve about the warranty, and even though he hadn't had a chance to follow up, Steve came out on his own to check things out and got us scheduled for the touch-ups. Erik came out to do the work and was just as wonderful -- professional, friendly, and meticulous. Everything looks perfect again! It's rare to find a company that truly stands behind their work and goes above and beyond for their customers. I have built a home and renovated 3, and I have not worked with a painting company as good as Harmony. They painted my exterior that was both siding and brick. I did a white and black modern scheme, and neighbors walk by and comment how great it looks. Carlos was the project director and Sergio the crew leader, and both were a pleasure to work with. HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. When I returned to my home later that day I was appalled. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

I live within 5 miles of both big name home and garden stores, as well as Mile High Ace store. (The one next to CarMax behind Safeway) I have shopped at all 3, and without a doubt I would choose ACE first! Within moments of being in the store, I had people welcoming me, asking if I had any questions, and even going as far to warn me when a ladder he was using was going to make a loud noise, as not to scare me. I was approached by Aaron, a very friendly employee offering assistance. Not only did Aaron answer my questions, but he walked with me to find the exact product I needed and explain how to use it. By the time I was leaving, Aaron had spent over 30 min. answering questions, explaining things and even helping me load a heavy lawnmower into my jeep, after first making sure it would fit. At one point I was worried that I was going to get him in trouble with the boss, for spending so much time answering my questions. He just kindly smiled and said "I am the boss" I was shocked. What owner or boss would take the time to provide such impeccable service, and not just pawn a customer off onto a department employee. I can't say enough about my experience and the customer service I received at this store. I also have to mention Cheryl. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her, as she helped me sign up for a rewards card at the checkout counter, explained the rewards points and helped me save even more than I though I was going to. *I should note, customer service is especially important to me, as I am a 30 year old female, dealing with a traumatic brain injury from a car accident. With limited short term memory and a fear of asking "dumb" questions, I usually avoid situations where I might need assistance. Thank you to Aaron, Cheryl and the staff at Ace for everything. I don't think you know how much it truly meant to me, to feel competent and actually enjoy a "normal" activity again.

    Used to like this place, but now it's just become a no-go. They look like they have a lot of stuff,…read morebut every time I go, they're out of whatever I went there for --- usually several things, as I always go with a list, since it's a bit of a drive for me. Their watercolor brush selection is quite skimpy; they never seem to have the size I need or type I want, and even weeks later they still don't have that size/type in stock. Same for specific watercolors. They have an entire display of Daniel Smith watercolors, yet the very color I need, they're out of. One day one of the staff spent 15 minutes checking all the other brands to see if they had that color in *any* other brand -- nope. And it was a common color like Prussian blue. Watercolor sketchbooks? Unless you like blocks (which I personally can't stand), you won't find much. A small display of Hand-book sketchbooks, which are mostly for drawing and not watercolor. The watercolor ones are 200gsm, not 300gsm. (Which I was able to order from Amazon for the same price as Meininger was charging for the 200gsm.) Drawing pens? You're in luck if you do manga. If you use probably the most popular brand, Uni-Pin fineliner, forget it. They don't even sell them. (They seem to prefer Sigma Microns.) Watercolor pencils? Sure, if you want the really large expensive sets. If you want to try them out with a set of 24 Goldfaber Aquas, nope. Art storage? Slim pickings. A few zippered pouches. The dollar store has a better selection. Overall, they're out of whatever I need when I need it, and they won't be getting in anytime soon. Sometimes they can get stuff sent from their CO Springs location, but that means a second trip back to the store, when I only wanted to drive there once. (The neighborhood is awful.) Also, their website is very hit or miss, and *won't* tell you if they have something in stock in the store. Sometimes you put in a search term that will return "no item found" when I know for a fact they sell that item in the store. Go do a search for "Lamy Safari" and you'll see what I mean. They have a selection of Lamy Safari pens in the store, but only converters and lead refills on their website. Prices are high, sometimes by $10-15 or more over what you'd pay elsewhere. I was looking for the Albrecht Durer 24 watercolors set, which they were selling for full price at $72. I had just seen this same set on Blick Art for half that, $37.50. I mentioned this to one of the staff and his response was, "Yeah, well they can buy in bulk and we can't." Okay, fair enough, but wow, even with shipping I could get it far, far cheaper online. As for returns, ha! Don't go by their printed return policy. I mistakenly bought a quill watercolor brush that's way too big for my needs; called the store to see if they have the next size down, which they do, but was told I could not exchange it "because the manager says it's too hard to tell if a brush has been used or not." Then why doesn't the return policy state that? See the attached photo for their posted Return Policy. Now show me where it says "brushes can't be returned because you can't tell if they've been used or not." The staff person on the phone said I could bring in the brush and speak to the manager about it, but I will not be doing that. I've encountered him before: he's one of those people who thinks he's hilarious and is in your face whether you need help or not. Sorry, I refuse to deal with him, so I'll just keep my overpriced $47 synthetic brush and try to find a use for it. Some of the staff are pleasant and nice to work with; we even got to know some by name. But overall, shopping at Meininger's has just become too much of a hassle and we won't be shopping there again.
