    Sweet and sour chicken $7.29

If I could leave no stars I 100% would. I decided to get take out for me and my daughter and ordered sweet and sour chicken (just the chicken) for my daughter and a general Tso's chicken combination dinner for myself and some krab rangoons. I did notice the prices were not the same as they were on line which she informed me were because a customer posted those and not them. I paid and left. When I got home I noticed there was only 10 pieces of sweet and sour chicken in the box that I paid $7.29 for. When I opened the general Tso's there was 25 pieces of chicken which comes with a side and egg roll for $9.99. I immediately called and asked the reasoning and they said because I ordered a small and I asked them to explain how that made sense when I paid $2 more for 25 pieces of chicken, a side, and an egg roll? It made no sense. So I took it back up to the store for a refund and she said where is the sauce and I said I'm sorry I had left it at home and she said that that would be a $1.50 off the refund because I did not bring the sauce. I started to reason with her asking her to explain why the portions were such a big difference, why she did not tell me to bring the sauce with the chicken, why she couldn't just refund me the full amount for the chicken I had brought back? She argued back and forth for a min then did not give me the full refund after wasting my time and gas. She proceeded to talk about me to other customers as I was leaving and then when I got home and read the menu some more I realized that they did not give me the white rice that was included in the charge with the sweet and sour chicken and she said there would be not difference in charge because that was free with the purchase of the chicken? Why was any of this not made clear? We can give free rice with a meal but can not give me a refund for the sauce I clearly did not know I needed to bring back with the chicken? She proceeded to ask where I worked so she can come there and gladly take food and pay the price we charge with no complaints. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! All around.

I ordered take out and got general Tso chicken and began eating it normally. At about half way through my meal. I noticed something weird in my food I thought to be a bone it was not. It was a Cotton ear swab or q-tip. I know some may not believe me or think I put it there myself but I had to write this because that is so nasty.

The restaurant was clean and there's street parking which was hard to find. The ambience inside was typical Taiwan, very colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and bright colors here and there. The food was OK. I'm giving them four stars for the cleanliness and friendliness speed of service most of all. If I had to rate just the food, I would have to give them three stars. While the food was good it was just OK. Good. The pad Thai was overly sweet and the drunken noodles was OK. That's about the best I can say is just OK. The spring rolls were excellent, but it was just a salad wrapped in the clear roll. There was nothing else in it but salad material. The egg rolls were very small very hard and crunchy with very little in the center. I like Thai food, but I know of better places that serve better tasting more authentic Thai food. I would definitely give them a try because their food is presentable and a bit tasty and the amount was fine. But the price was extremely high for the amount of food that we were given. For our four meals and appetizers plus tip and a tai chi tea. It was close to $160. It was probably about $30 a person and the appetizers and the tea I believe was what made it more expensive. You don't get any refills on your drinks unless it's water. Like I said, I would give them a try but be prepared to spend a lot of money.

The lunch specials come with an egg roll and pork fried rice. Keep in mind that if you decide to swap out the pork fried rice with lo mein noodles or something else, there is an additional charge. General Tso's Chicken: 6/10 - didn't really have much flavor and tasted like a greasy mess! The portion sizes were good but the chicken was soggy and I couldn't taste much flavors but salt, grease, and maybe a little bit of tang? Vegetable lo mein: 6/10 - was okay. There were alot of vegetables which I loved. Not much flavor either but the noodles were cooked well! Cheese wontons with Sweet and Sour sauce: 8/10 - these were absolutely delicious and fried wonderfully to a crisp, golden, and crunchy texture! The flavor was sweet, salty, and creamy! I love they don't skimp out on the filling and the filling to wonton skin ratio was perfect. I am a huge sucker for the artificial red sweet and sour sauce and I'm so glad they came with it!! I was pretty satisfied with my order and it came with 10 pieces! Pork egg roll: 7/10 - came with the combo and it was decent. Stuffed and fried well! It had like roast pork, cabbage, carrots in it. The restaurant does need to update their prices on DoorDash because they listed lunch specials (smaller portions and comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll). However, when I ordered the lunch special and it came through, the restaurant updated my order to a dinner portion with increased pricing. They charged me extra and by the time I noticed, the order was already in process. I'm assuming lunch specials are only for M-F but the specifics were not listed on their menu on the app. If it wasn't an option, then I shouldn't have been able to order it. Portion sizes were okay for the price. I may try this place out again if I'm in the area. Just to give them a second chance.

Something I have experienced too many times in Jax. The most positive dish was Egg Rolls were very good and so was the service and price points. Biggest letdowns? House Egg Foo Young, was very oily as if it wasn't drained and tasteless & dry with little ingredients. (Gravy taste like corn starch and water without any seasoning). House Chow Mein, the vegetables were cooked so soggy they were unrecognizable and very tasteless. Boneless BBQ Ribs were shredded pieces of pork loin? Never seen that at any restaurant and it was floating in oil. Sorry no photos as we were keen to give it a try and very hungry.
