Walking in it is a small place with not much going on. Those are the best places so my hopes were high. We ordered the krab rangoons, king pow chicken and general tso chicken from the dinner menu. The food was very good. This is my opinion I am not a cook but merely a customer leaving a review: The rangoons were a little bit under filled. They were cooked great and fluffy but not much filling. The chicken fried rice that came with the dinner meal was dry but good otherwise. The egg rolls were very cabbage heavy and not much else. Delicious and so quick!! I called and it was only a 10 minute wait which was such a score. Got the sesame chicken combo which came with fried rice and an egg roll & I ordered an additional small plain lo mein. Everything was really good and came out hot when I got there to pick up. noticed some older reviews weren't great, but the most recent ones mentioned new ownership, so I decided to give this place a try. I placed my order through their website, but it would've been challenging without my parents, who are familiar with the dishes, as there were no descriptions of what the meals included. It was also a bit frustrating that there wasn't an option to add egg rolls. I wrote in the comments that we wanted egg rolls and hot mustard sauce. The restaurant called within minutes to confirm, and they let me know the egg rolls would be an extra couple of dollars. The website estimated the food would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, I gave them my name, and within a minute, my order was ready. There was a table with condiments, so I grabbed some hot mustard packets, which turned out to be a good call because none were included with my order. This place is clearly geared towards takeout. There's a couple tables and chairs where you could eat your meals. But the atmosphere is pretty blah. As for the food, my parents and I loved it, and there was plenty left over for each of us to have two more meals. I'm especially grateful for this place since it's only six minutes from home, and there are hardly any other restaurants in this area. read more

NEW OWNERS!!! I wasn't a fan of the old Master Wok. The food wasn't good to me. My opinion. ‍ I have to say, the new owners are super nice. The food was amazing. I had Roast Pork Egg Foo Young with their fried rice. Normally, I wouldn't order fried rice because I haven't enjoyed it so much. Let me tell you, Everything was delicious. The egg roll! I always get an egg roll. It was sooooo good! Vegetable Lo Mein was extremely good. I will definitely be picking up dinner from them again. I recommend it to everyone. Asbury Lake! Visit Master Wok! This was my first place I ate at when I moved to the area. They were nice enough to not steam the veggies and tofu in chicken broth for me. And wow they gave me a lot of tofu!! In 5 years of ordering from here I've never received an incorrect order. Contrary to other reviews the cashier isn't rude, she's just really quiet and doesn't make small talk. If you order a dinner combo that INCLUDES AN EGGROLL, you will need to pay extra for sweet and sour sauce for the INCLUDED EGGROLL. save yourself some time and eat ANYWHERE else but her. I was in the mood for some house special fried rice and I the Master Wok. I haven't gotten anything here in over 5 years because the food was always greasy. The fried rice was not greasy, but as far as house special fried rice goes, it was just like any other. It was ok and satisfied my craving for another 5 years. read more

Always love the food here. Have been getting the dinner and lunch specials for about 10 years. They give great large servings! Enough for two big meals! Better than any little Chinese place I've tried (among about 5 others). Only take about 15-20 mins every order. Just call ahead and order then go pick up. Great prices, only approx 6$ for a lunch special (entree and rice), plenty of choices. Always have sauces out for you to pick up. Sadly I have seen other customers being racist against the owners for their accents (in a Chinese restaurant?). If I were the young lady working there I wouldn't be very happy either! However, I think she just has resting b***h face! She's always been nice to me. Maybe if people use the golden rule more often they wouldn't have a problem (treat others as you would like to be treated). Admittedly sometimes you will get some dry chicken or something but everywhere messes up sometimes. The eggrolls are the bomb though! read more

Great Local Chinese. The food is quick, they are open late, and they have never messed up my order. The selection is extensive for such a small place. Not much that you could think of that they do not have. Personally, I love the dumplings. Simply the best I've tried. Also the Lo mien is not to greasy as many places make it. I have had many Chinese places and the cost/quantity is the same as anywhere else but the food is superior. The only problem is it is across the parking lot from my gym so every time I work out, I end up undoing my progress by overeating good Chinese! read more

I went into this establishment to order take out for my fiance. I cannot comment on the food as I do not eat Chinese food, however I can comment on the service. The service was terrible. When I walked in I was not received with a hello, in fact she did not say anything. While taking my order she became agitated and annoyed. When I tried to explain it was my first time ordering Chinese (I was not aware there was a certain way to order) she became more agitated. I asked to please let me just read what my fiance texted me and she was not having it. She started speaking her native tongue to one of the other girls, which I find it rude. I do not care if you speak another language, I think you should embrace that, but when I am in the middle of the order and the server is agitated and starts speaking another language I have no choice but to believe she is bad mouthing me.
