Food: Rori's has the best tasting ice cream going on the Central coast and surrounding areas. I've been to the Ventura & Arroyo Grande locations and they are fantastic as well. They use high quality ingredients and you cannot go wrong with whatever you decide to order. They actually have chunks in their ice cream, unlike the overrated Handels. However, that's another story for another time. One of my personal favorites is the Pistachio Ice cream loaded with delicious nuts. The chocolate peanut butter is fantastic and the chocolate with chunks of fudge brownies throughout the frozen masterpiece. Muy Delicious! Service: The service is fantastic and they greet you with a smile and they are very accommodating and very dog friendly. Ambiance: The ambiance is not the greatest here and very small. It is a shared location with a Mexican restaurant. However, you're going here for delicious ice cream. Furthermore, they have tables set up outside on the sidewalk with umbrellas and it is usually shaded here with dog friendly people always walking by. I would like to see them eventually get their own stand alone place similar to Ventura with room to move around. I would give this place overall a 4.5 review due to ambiance. However, on Yelp they get 5 stars because half's don't exist. . It would be a sin to give them 4 stars here. 5 stars all the way. Rori Trovato has empire in the making. One day the world will understand what I say to be true -- one day, Rori's will have its day in the sun. It's Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y in all caps. It's everything I could ever want in an ice cream. My favorite flavors are chocolate ice chunk, banana brown sugar, and salted caramel. 100/100 score. If you know, you know. P.S. Rori's makes McConnell's look like child's play. Many will disagree. But what can I say, I have a supremely well-refined palate.

It was not overly sweet and almost had a whipped cream lightness to it. The chocolate covered strawberry on top makes it look cute and the strawberries used are of great quality. They taste like she either got the strawberries from a farm or farmers market because they were really sweet-most grocery stores have that tartness to the strawberries, this one was just sweet. The strawberries in the yogurt are actually filled to the top! She doesn't cheap out on you! The dessert was of high quality and I plan on buying some stuff in the future.

That's what real European chocolate tastes like. This was just sugar, sugar, sugar, and cute designs. Maybe they are using cheaper American ingredients rather than importing higher quality ones? No point in having the Eiffel Tower on your logo if you wouldn't be able to keep this store open in France. But the best part: the girl at the counter didn't let me try anything other than the three pre-selected types of bon bons on the sample tray! How cheap can you get? I've never had any chocolatier deny a sample of a simple truffle, especially not one with the gall to charge $3 per chocolate in a tiny town like Carp! $35 for a dozen, just to not even be able to try what you are putting in the box? Is everyone who works here on meds or something? Coffee was terrible and watered-down, and simple premade sandwiches took 20 minutes to heat in a panini press and bring out. Food was very mediocre and my "poached" egg was basically hard boiled. The food tastes much better when you order online, probably because they actually know you have a set time limit to pick it up so they make it fresh and with effort. They just dgaf if you're seated, I guess. Just go to Lucky Llama guys.

I have been coming here a lot lately and I always leave a nice tip , even though they do minimal ... but not anymore. I ordered a salad and wanted ONE extra piece of bread. I was told NO we only do sides really??? In a town where restaurants seem to come and go?? And I am a generous tipper and you won't give me 1 extra piece of bread? Ok I hope that was worth your tips in the future:( I had ordered my salad which came out wrong when I got a new one, it was so full of onions, I couldn't even eat it Sad really , I had such hopes. The manager/ owner had come over and was the one who replaced the salad, admitting they had left out the correct description of the salad, he already knew we were t happy , and was standing g there as we cleared our own table, he saw I didn't eat my salad, his response? Have a nice day ! Even after I said, " the salad was basis ally all onion!" SMH oh well I guess they have enough business read more

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. The owner's attitude was unexpectedly rude, zero warmth, and an overall vibe that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. The food is good, but it was hard to enjoy anything after being talked down to. I usually try to give small businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this was beyond a bad day. It felt like they just didn't care about treating customers with basic respect. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and I hope the owner reconsiders how they interact with people. read more

I was recommended Guichos from a Co-worker a while back and finally gave it a try while I was in Carpinteria on a job for the day. WOW! I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chopped salad and added 4 grilled shrimp. The salad had just the right amount of everything and the shrimp was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The girl who took my order was really cool and helpful, and everyone else working there seemed very friendly. The restaurant itself was really clean and they offer plenty of outdoor seating. Looking forward to returning to Guichos the next time I'm back in the area! read more

Consistently good italian. It's quick and easy with great options and a cool, industrial-chic interior. I usually order to go, which is high-quality, and a wonderful solution to hungry on-the-go types like myself. Service is fast and friendly and efficient. The sandwhiches are amazing. Meatball, sausage, steak are all perennial favorites and battle for supremecy in my cravings. But a recently tried vegitarian contender is the eggplant. An incredible sandwhich, and for a carnivore like me, and interesting variant to my usual go-to's. read more

This place is pretty good, some of their pasta dishes are pretty simple in ingredients/not always enough seasoning but have all been pretty tasty. I've come here several times for a quick dinner with my family and the wait for your food is never too long. A lot of different shops have been in this location and I hope Guichos will be the one that sticks. read more

The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is, they are set up for more of a to go place, so everything is in a to go container even though they have spots to sit down everything is in a box, and you use plasticware, their prices are also a little high read more

Chicken Vodka Pasta: the dish my mother ordered. Her comments were the same as mine. She notes that the sauce lacked seasoning and she described it as tasteless. Again, another poor dish. She rates it as a 2/5. Chicken Fettuccini: the dish my father ordered. He didn't have that much to say about it other than it being subpar. He rates it as a 2/5. I will say, in terms of pay, the price was fair. For 3 dishes, all of which came with generous portion sizes, totaled to about $62. Overall, I don't see myself returning to Mollie's in the future. They were out of many ingredients which led to mediocre dishes being served. If you wish to come here, I strongly suggest you visit on the weekend since they only serve special/ seafood dishes then. Other than that, Mollie's is a hard pass.

We sat there waiting forever just to tell someone because no server ever checked back. Eventually another employee dropped off the missing bagel and immediately ran off again. My husband finally had to walk inside himself to tell them the food was cold and undercooked. A few minutes later they brought the same plate back out, clearly just microwaved. The eggs were now rubber, the hash was still awful, and the potatoes were still terrible. He went back inside a second time and told them to forget it and just charge us for the bagel, coffee, and my breakfast. Even getting the check took another 20 minutes. What's most frustrating is that nobody seemed to care. No apology, no urgency, no effort to fix anything properly. My breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs and bacon were fine, but the French toast was cold and looked like plain toast, and they covered the potatoes in cheese without mentioning it. After reading other recent reviews, it's clear this wasn't just a one-off bad day. The common theme seems to be cold food, long waits, inattentive service, and management/staff who simply don't care. This place is overpriced, overrated, and unfortunately living off its past reputation. Maybe just stick with bagels.
