The only downside is there was only 1 set of dressing rooms. The first time i went into the store, the line was so long I left. Went back later in the day and it wasn't as busy so I was able to try on a few things. Beautiful selection of fashionable Fall and Winter clothing. Prices seemed less than in the States. Lucky me, I picked up a new pair of jeans and a couple of sweaters! Zara's a nice choice if you're looking up to date fashion at affordable prices.

Olga and Sabine were very helpful with my wife and I and we were impressed with their women's bags, outfits and men's shoes. They did have some beautiful men's jackets but they were more expensive than we were looking for. The one I was in love with was 3000 euros. I caught some shoes on sale for $99 to $129 Euros. Each. They were handmade leather and very comfortable. Sabine even set us up with a table at a nearby restaurant and we were welcomed by the owner. Great experience.

I went in to look at a couple of blouses and would have waited to try them on but the fitting rooms were a waste of time. All of them with more than 30min wait time and when you go in, you see tags everywhere and clothing that was left behind. When trying to navigate the store, I felt a bit claustrophobic which isn't good when you're already dealing with crowds all over the city with passerby people such as myself and my family. Once I was able to try them on, I felt itchy all over so I decided not to make any purchases and walked out. While wandering around one of the people in the store acknowledged me and helped me out to the men's section upstairs. The store is much larger than any Dolce and Gabbana store I've ever been in. The staff were super friendly. They let me look around when I needed and when they saw me looking around for help they came over immediately which is awesome as I don't like being smothered from the moment I walk into the store until the moment I leave. The staff helped me hunt down different pieces that I was interested in and helped me with some of the sizing differences and what would work best for me. They were much friendlier than I was expecting and went above and beyond this shopping stop. The items are still expensive are but much better priced than what we would find in Canada and even better than a lot of the places I've seen in the US before a ridiculous sale. If anyone asks me who makes the best jackets, out of any designer/Brand, I always say this Atelier. Most of the leather stores in Florence are basic designs that do not fit the body well. They are made out of standard or substandard materials with basic construction. They're completely different. They have the best materials, and they use the best techniques. They do the best quality in exotic materials that most people do not have the experience to handle different leathers. I will continue to go here because no nobody I've ever met has done the same quality, regardless of price.
