I'm sure most of you have seen the movie Pretty Woman, so the best way I can describe the shopping experience at Casini Firenze is to reference the scene in the movie where Richard Gere takes Julia Roberts shopping and she literally tries on everything in the store and practically has her own little fashion show! This was my experience!!! My husband and I went to Florence for our honeymoon and he took me to see Jennifer at Casini! The minute I walked in the door she gave me a quick hug and then whisk me straight back to the private dressing room area where she proceeded to tell two of her other fabulous staff members exactly which clothing items to grab for me and she even got my size exactly right without even having to ask!! I went in to try on one complete outfit and when I came out from the dressing room my eyes grew huge with disbelief as I looked around the room at entire outfits hanging together with matching shoes, purses, and accessories! Jennifer quickly spun me around and tidied up my outfit (the way the Italians put outfits together is like a work of art) and then she presented me to my new husband who she had very cleverly set in a chair in the cornor of the room with a fresh cappuccino! For another two hours I literally "played" dress up, laughed, drank fantastic Italian Wine and had the time of my life!! When I was finished Jennifer quickly whisked my husband over to the other side of the store where the men's clothing and shoes are and began to dress him in a collection of gorgeous custom leather jackets and shoes. He was so impressed at the detail that went into all the measurements and the ease at which he was able to make customizations to each garmet! Jennifer even worked with me on shipping a custom leather jacket to our house for his birthday without him getting wind of anything, and that is hard to do! As we were finishing our purchase, Jennifer's father came down the stairs and gave us a fabulous dinner recommendation and even called to make the reservation for us! Now I know what you are thinking... this must have been a dream! I assure you it wasn't because I have been to see Jennifer two additional times now, once was in Chicago, and each time my shopping experience has been right up there with the first one! I love Jennifer, her father, and her entire staff and I can not wait for my husband and I to take another trip to Florence so we can have another fabulous shopping experiece at Casini Firenze!! read more

Me and my girlfriend stumbled upon this store about 5 or 6 years ago, and I bought an amazing pumpkin colored leather/suede jacket (reversible). When I returned to Florence in April 2012, I was determined to find the store. I had forgotten the name of it but remembered its location. I was so pleased when I found it, especially since the store had expanded and was selling more merchandise. I particularly love their reversible leather/suede jackets; and on this visit, I bought two jackets. I also fell in love with their shoes, purses, and clothes. The staff was great; they gave me and my girlfriend champagne and had us trying on all kinds of clothes, jackets and shoes. I felt like a princess! In fact, my girlfirend and I had so much fun at the store, we didn't want to leave. The staff is friendly and helpful but not pushy; and the owner, Jennifer, is great and very hands on. She made us a feel like we were old friends. I also got to meet Jennifer's husband, who was kind enough to model men's jackets for me so I could send photos to my husband. It is truly a great shop; and all the merchandise is amazing! As an added feature, Jennifer sends monthly emails with invites to trunk shows. It is so hard for me to begin. My shopping experience started about 9 years ago and still hasn't stopped. We live in the United States. After shopping at Casini I stopped shopping in the United States. My experience started with Jennifer. Not only is she an expert what she does, she is sincere and will not let you walk out of there with something that does not look good on you or is wrong for you. We are fortunate because we go to Florence every year. Over the years we have become such good friends. And all the girls that work there are as experienced and sincere and friendly as Jennifer. If they don't have what you want they will make it for you. There was a purse and the design was adorable. Just thinking out loud I said I wish it was a different color. Jennifer had it made for me. And made sure that I had it before I went back to the States. No matter what I would buy, Jennifer would fit me perfectly. And then she would showed me more colors. She had my measurements so she could mail them to me. I had wonderful jackets custom made. There is nothing that Jennifer won't do to please you. After spending a few days in beautiful Firenze and visiting David, the Uffizi and their breath-taking "Birth of Venus" and almost drowning in a sea of not-so-luxury leather goods which flood this amazing city. I discovered Casini Firenze, a place unlike any other in Firenze for luxury leather goods. You see, all luxury leather goods are not created equal. Their leather is so very soft, your hand appears to melt right into it. But it's the design of everything at Casini Firenze by it's owner, designer Jennifer Tattanelli which will blow you away. The first thing I tried on was a sexy, black leather jacket, zipped it up, looked in the mirror, spun around twice and knew this jacket had to be mine. Ohhh my God, it was so hot, it had zippers everywhere, even a pocket inside for my cell phone. It was off the rack, but appeared to have been made just for me. I had never loved a piece of clothing before. Men seldom do. So when visiting Firenze, after visiting "David" and "Birth of Venus", don't waste your time going anyplace else for leather, go directly to Casini Firenze and lose yourself in "leather heaven". pls know that I never leave bad ratings, but buyers need to be aware of how dishonest the owner and staff of this boutique are. if I could rate Casini 0-stars, I would. after years of shopping with Casini, I've had the absolute worst customer service/experience I've ever had with a shop. they've been untruthful (lied about past orders (a dress arrived to my home in Austin (from Florence) stained and they are now blaming me for it (happened YEARS ago)), manipulative (was promised something with a store credit that they couldn't deliver and they are now saying that I'm being 'difficult'), I've been ignored (they've had 1,000Euro credit due to me for the past year (since July 2015) and choose to not respond/ignore my emails) and treated me absolutely horribly. I'd avoid Casini at all costs. been an extremely upsetting and stressful situation dealing with Jennifer, Olga and other staff members. absolute shame they don't know how to treat customers. read more

On a recent trip to Florence, I fell in love...with Casini Firenze Leather. Everyone in the store showcases her designs and flaunts timeless style and fashion, what's not to love? The buttery smoking leather jacket that billows and flows as the sales women sashay past bringing you exactly what you have been looking for in the most amazing color? We were dropped at Casini when our tour guide told us it was the best place to buy leather in Florence. My husband purchased a gorgeous suede jacket which they very willingly customized for him! He loves it and it fits perfectly. I had no intention of buying anything but was easily convinced after trying on several pieces. I went home with the most comfortable shoes, suede boots, reversible suede leather jacket and a handbag. I read a magazine article about this store, and I wasn't disappointed! I have never felt leather or suede so soft... they make all other leather seem fake. I bought a beautiful blazer in a funky blue, and ankle booties on my visit in 2011. I get complements every time I wear either! The sales lady directed me to different colors then I was used to, and she was right!! Everyone was so helpful and nice, and extremely knowledgeable. The best shopping experience ever. The staff are so friendly, and provide first class customer service, and even advice on the best places to eat etc! The clothes and shoes are so unique, excellent quality and you feel just so spoilt for choice. I spent ages in the shop, and went away with lots of bags and a skip in my step. I bought 2 purses from Casini Firenze a few years ago while visiting Firenze, and love them both, I get lots of compliments always...recently, I decided to buy another lighter colored one, as I live in Fla. I spent 2 weeks emailing a lovely sales woman, back and forth about sizes, colors etc. she even went so far as to take a picture of herself holding the purse (and her patience was remarkable).
