I was asked by my boss to find a mover yesterday morning at 8:15 to move office furniture from an office space to a storage facility, same day, as our closing had been moved to Monday. It was pouring rain in the area and my boss wanted it done by early afternoon. I contacted about 12 moving companies and only two could possibly commit to the same day and one the next day. After talking with Adam Freeman, he assured me that he could make it happen same day even though all of their trucks were already out on other jobs. Within about 30 minutes he had confirmed that he would be there at 1:00 with two guys. They were prompt, quick and careful. Moved a 10x25 storage facility full of furniture and artwork, wrapping each piece with shrink wrap, which is quite time consuming itself, in 4 hours. I was off the clock and on my way home by 5:15. In summary, this has been one of my best moves in my 35 years of military service; from the packers overseas in Naples Italy all the way to the Guardian unpackers team in Memphis, TN. Each company or coordinator kept the communication lines open by keeping us informed of the arrival times of the crews for both days of unpacking. All personnel who came to support were extremely hard-working, courteous and willing to get the job done in a professional manner. We needed to move my daughter from Memphis to TX in July. Hot in both places. I was not about to carry boxes and furniture from 2nd floor apt. I saw them on Groupon. My daughter had used them when she moved from Maryland to Memphis to take her stuff from a storage facility to her apt. She thought they were wonderful. I thought let's use them again. She was right ,they were WONDERFUL. We had them pack all her stuff in a horse trailer and they did an excellent job. They were done in less than an hour. Very polite, respectful ,young college age guys. They came with a task to be done and they worked and got it completed. No messing around. They had forgotten to bring mattress/box spring covers but they called the office and someone brought them out but they continued to pack everything else till the plastic arrived. I would Highly recommend them for your moves. More cities need to have a good moving service like these guys. read more

I recently moved from Jackson, MS to Memphis, TN with all my belongings in a giant Uhaul. Moving is hard no matter the distance you travel, but my biggest concern was getting all of my stuff to the second floor of the house I was moving to. I contacted the owner of Guardian Moving company and they said they would gladly come out and help us with the furniture. The two gentlemen that came to the house were Trevor and Derrick. We were dreading moving day. Mom was leaving her home of 40 years and was understandably sad. There was an all day monsoon to top it off. Justin and Will made it so much better. They started by being exactly on time. They carefully wrapped her furniture in quilts and protected her treasures. Throughout it all - even with a somewhat fussy building manager - they were polite and cool-headed. I am a seasoned mover with at least 20 under my belt. I've had good movers, bad movers and then Guardian. They are great movers. This most recent move was helping a relative downsize. Amazing!! These 3 fellows did a fantastic job! I've had several successful moves, and today was an extraordinary experience They put down runners in my home and minimized any tracking. They were courteous, friendly, efficient and removed paper and boxes as I emptied them. They even took one table I decided to give away. I give this company the highest recommendation. THE BEST MOVER IN TOWN! On very short notice my home sold in Germantown and I had thirty days to move from a home I had lived in for over twenty years.
