I have been here before and while there have been minor issues, Arizona Auto License Services is…read moreday and night over the state run Motor Vehicle Division. I did make a reservation and they had me in, in 3 minutes flat. Without was about 15 minutes. On my lat visit, I had to renew my license. I called and asked what I needed to bring, and was told "Nothing but the Drivers License." I arrived and was told that I needed proof of residency an my passport or birth certificate. Maybe this was for the Real ID requirements. I went home, came back and waited, this time without a reservation. Still it wasn't too bad. In the end, they have always gotten the job done quickly. It sure beats the alternative!

I was confused when I checked in, but then remembered this was a private company that charges a convenience fee for processing. The fee was about $25 for my issue and I just didn't feel like driving down the street to my appointment. An older, but not elderly man entered the office while I was waiting (which wasn't even a 10 minute wait). He asked me for help and I told him to scan the QR code. Seems he didn't have a phone. He was so filled with rage. He yelled at the clerks and demanded immediate attention, complaining that he scheduled an appointment and had to wait behind "yours truly" here. Funny, if he wasn't so angry, he could have figured this out himself but wouldn't listen when I told him the MVD is down the street and this is a private company. It's not the employee's fault that a private company decided to purchase down the street from the real MVD. People like that make the experience terrible for everyone. The service was excellent and got me in and out in less than 15 minutes. They answered all my questions and it was well worth it for me.

Marcos was very helpful, educated, and had a great personality! I was out within 10 minutes! When I first arrived it was so convenient to just check in with your birthday and last name. There were about 6 people in front of me and everyone got called to the desk very quickly. If I ever need any service done that requires MVD assistance, this will be the location I'll be going to! No more stressing about long lines and rude employees. Also, if anyone didn't know, you can transfer your plate from one vehicle to another for a small fee, if you want to keep your plate- AND you can get reimbursed for your tabs if they still have time left on them until they expire. I,e; my tabs didn't expire until October 2026 and I had to register a new vehicle, so I got $33 back to put towards my new registration! Very cool I highly recommend you head to this location for great customer service.

I waited about 12-15 minutes in line which wasn't horrible and when I was seen that took about another 10ish minutes due to what I needed but overall in and out within 30 minutes!

All you have to do is stand in line with your return and give them the proper documents if you need a drivers license renewal, a new drivers license, a registration and etc. Fees do very depending on what you do get the older the car the cheaper the registration and you also have to make sure to check if you need emissions prior to registration

I'm glad I did the lady that took my photo was very friendly and she asked me if I thought the photo was OK and I was like Yep beautiful love it. I look so much less crazy now!! additionally, I also had to renew my registration and upgrade to a handicap plate or whatever upgrade downgrade whatever you wanna call so I got all that done in one shot. So the convenience and also the friendliness of being able to actually get a decent photo is worth the price. that said it's pretty expensive. But it is nice to have options. Horrible Service, Unprofessional and Disrespectful Staff!…read more I would give zero stars if I could. My experience at West Valley Motor Vehicle Services was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, the staff was rude and completely unhelpful. They barely explained anything to me, and when I had questions, I was met with short, dismissive responses. They didn't even take the time to properly explain the process, which meant I had to come back to finish things that could've been handled during the first visit. To make things worse, they spent the entire time speaking in Spanish, laughing and making fun of me. I could tell they were talking about me, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed. It was clear they didn't care about customer service or making me feel like a valued customer. I've never felt more disrespected or belittled in a place that is supposed to be there to help. This place needs a serious overhaul in both its staff and its treatment of customers. I will never return to West Valley Motor Vehicle Services, and I highly recommend you avoid it if you want to avoid frustration, embarrassment, and terrible service.

He had no idea what he was talking about and he kept asking me for an id card for my insurance when I showed him all of my insurance information. And they took the same paper I showed them last time but now they made it a problem. I keep asking him what he needed and he just said id card and kept laughing nervously and I asked him to get a manger and he just stood thier until my husband came and made it a problem. I will never be coming back here and I wouldnt recommend coming here for a driver's test the the instructors are unprofessional and need to find a nother profession.

The setup works similarly to the regular MVD -- you take a number, wait for your turn, and they have multiple service windows handling different transactions. I stopped in during my lunch break to transfer the title for my motorcycle and was expecting it to take much longer than it did. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, and she had me back out the door with enough time to actually enjoy lunch before heading back to work.
