We are tired, we are exhausted, but we are trying to do the best we can. As a resident of Lafayette, and Louisville we are not gouging our neighbors like other companies. And we get alot [sic] of complements [sic] every day. So we must be doing something right. We don't make you sign a contract and we get the highest results out there so you are free to go with who ever you like." We did go with another firm, NetZero, who had excellent customer service, showed up every time they said they would, doesn't have one "sign a contract," has received numerous compliments and recommendations from our neighbors here in the Marshall Fire impacted neighborhoods (Superior and Louisville), did all the paperwork for us with the rebates, and charged a fair price, no gouging. Tip to Debra W.: next time you get a negative albeit honest review, instead of lashing out at the reviewer, take a moment to really read it and see what you can take away from it. If you still feel moved to reply, instead of being ugly and defensive, maybe say how sorry you are about the two no-shows and the poor customer service, that you are exhausted, etc., although that's no excuse, and you're sorry this customer slipped through the cracks. You can add that as a Lafayette resident you take treating residents of Louisville and Lafayette (and hopefully Superior, Broomfield, Erie) fairly. The leaky pipe was spilling water all over the play yard of my dog training facility. My team could not use the space, as the water was growing an ecosystem and the dogs wanted to lap it up like a kale fruit drink. Hello giardia! Sean noticed that our HVAC system was not sealed, so we were essentially heating and cooling the outside. They sealed what needed sealing and replaced our air filters. My understanding is that the team primarily does insulation in Denver, so they can help with that, too. Drug-free crew...no meth mouth. Hire these people.

As it turned out, we had lacking insulation in our attic and no insulation at all in our exterior walls. Mark presented us with several options and guided us toward the option that would have the most immediate impact and fit our budget. He filed all of the paperwork for the Xcel rebate. While Xcel took quite a while to process the rebate, it ended up being substantially more than I was expecting and certainly help offset the costs improving the insulation throughout our home. Before the improvements, the second level of our 2-story home was significantly hotter in the Summer or colder in the Winter, than the main floor. Now, we have consistent temps throughout the house and are seeing lower Xcel bills too. My attic insulation was low (6-7") and not evenly distributed, which was causing my house to get…read morepretty hot during these toasty, Summer days. Ben from AtticPro was so great and easy to work with from start to finish! Nothing salesy & it was HALF the price of all the other companies I got quotes from. His previous experience as a general contractor brings a unique expertise that really helps him guide you in figuring out what your house needs. He was the only person I had come out for a quote who showed me spots where my lights were already airsealed, rather than trying to upsell me on that. There were a few small holes with wires through them that just needed a tiny circle of insulated foam to seal them up properly, and he included that as just part of the base level work for insulating my attic properly! Everyone else was trying to upcharge like $500-$700 for that. He was able to fit me into the schedule within the week (I did get lucky that a new build got delayed creating an opening), but everyone else wasn't able to come out for 2+ weeks. It's a small family operation that he's running, and you can really feel how informed, passionate, and kind they are in their approach to their work. And the cherry on top was my dogs were absolutely obsessed with Ben! They were sad the job took under two hours to complete haha! Would definitely recommend AtticPro to anyone for insulation needs. He was more thorough than the other companies I interviewed, cost was appropriate, but more importantly he knows his business and is local. An architect friend gave me his contact. What stunned me about most of the contractors is they do not have a imaging camera. I happened to have one, imaged my home prior to having a different contractor work on my home, and afterward found that not only had he not filled all my walls, did a lousy job cleaning up, but hadn't even mentioned that he didn't do interior walls for my garden level basement although it needed to be done. My bad for not reading the contract closely. I assumed that if he was going to insulate my home he'd do it all (or at least tell me what he wouldn't do). Thermal Craft came in and finished off my home and I'm really pleased.
