I had an absolutely nightmare experience using Al's roofing to fix a leak and would recommend…read moreanybody read on before making the same mistake I did. The photo is of my ceiling following Al's 4th attempt to fix a leak. I hired Al's Roofing to fix my roof after noticing water stains on a bedroom ceiling. They offered me two solutions, $750 to fix the leak or $1,850 to "fix leak and other not properly made areas." I chose option 2 as I wanted to avoid future leaks and headaches. After Al's telling me the leak was fixed and cashing my check, I paid $2,460 to replace the damaged ceiling. Fast forward through a couple rain storms, and I noticed water stains in the exact same spot as before, except now it had progressed from water stains to full on water bubbles in the paint. I called Al's to come out and take another look, and they claimed to have fixed it, yet their 2nd fix ending up causing even more water damage as future rain came. More rain came, and more water bubbles kept occurring my ceiling. I called Al's to come back a third and fourth time for further attempts to resolve the leak. After the fourth time, I realized Al's is incapable of fixing the leak, so I had multiple other roofing companies come out to take a look. Both mentioned the attempts to fix the leak, as well as the fixing of the other "not properly made areas," were done poorly and below their standards. Expressing my severe displeasure with the service provided and the inability to fix the leak, Al's offered me a lowly compensation of $750 which was the initial quote to fix the leak. Despite my request for a full refund based on the fact the additional work couldn't be ruled out as having exacerbated the leak as well as not being done to a high standard, Al's refused to provide good customer service, insultingly suggested I just go through home insurance and pay a deductible to fix my water damaged ceiling. After multiple months of dealing with Al's Roofing, I am $3,560 poorer and have a worse bedroom ceiling than what I started with. I can't in good conscience suggest anyone ever become a customer of Al's Roofing, as I know I never will again.
