They drained my pool and did an acid wash, charged me over $300 for "startup chemicals" and assured me the pool would be clean for my tenants but they knew all along that they were going out of business so they stopped sending the pictures with the weekly status reports and started ghosting me when I inquired about why I haven't been receiving the pictures and of course no reply! Against my better judgment and as a gesture of good faith, I prepaid my pool service from September until February so I didn't have to deal with very unreasonable tenants. To my surprise, Johhny and Trinity did not refund the remainder of my prepayment and lied to the new contractor Desi at Pool Medic who to my surprise tried to get me to pay for Dec & January pool service . They seemed like honorable people, but I can't warn you enough to stay away from these people if they ever get back into the pool business again. They ghosted me and then claimed they didn't sell their business to another vendor and to my surprise I got a bill for services that were already prepaid from Pool Medic. Johhny assured me he would send me receipts of the credits to my credit cards but as of today that never happened. Nevada law says 10% upfront only and every time they did work for me they wanted 100% upfront. What a disappointment and betrayal of trust! Karma will get these two!

The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! It turned out to be a really complicated replacement, due to a lot of difficult job site conditions that weren't expected at the beginning of the job. The pool smart team completed the repair the same day, and everything is working perfectly. Solid choice. Look no further!

Would not recommend. Took almost two months to do the project because they showed up maybe once a week. No communication. Had to intervene a few times on the rock wall to correct craftsmanship and it still looks horrible. The fact now that it now leaks beneath the wall on all sides is completely unacceptable.

I contacted him in advance and asked if he could come Saturday or Monday to get the water properly treated and balanced. He told me he couldn't come until Thursday. Since I didn't want a newly filled pool sitting that long without being properly treated, I told him I understood and that we would find another pool maintenance company that could come sooner. I then asked him to refund the unused portion of the $150 monthly service fee, since he had only performed one service that month. Instead of simply discussing the cancellation and refund professionally, the conversation became extremely hostile. He told me, "You pay thousands of dollars for a remodel, yet you won't pay me $200?" and eventually called me a "low-life" and said he "could wipe my ass with that money." I understand that there can be disagreements about charges, and I had no problem paying another company for the chemicals and startup service. My issue was the way I was spoken to simply because I chose to discontinue the service and requested the unused balance back. Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled and the personal insults I received, I would not use this company again. Update after the owner's response: His response unfortunately reinforces the reason I decided to change companies. I did not cancel because I was looking for free service or because I did not want to pay for chemicals. My new pool company charges me $159/month, which is actually more than the $150/month I was paying him. They also charge separately for the freshwater startup chemicals, which I agreed to pay. I have no issue paying for services or chemicals. I changed companies because I was unhappy with the service and, most importantly, the way I was being communicated with. Even after I ended the service, the owner continued calling me "low-class" publicly in his response to this review. I think his own messages and response speak for themselves.

The original review is still in place The updated review is from 2 years past. It was updated last week because not only were there more issues, but friend in the valley had a similar experience recently. Todays update is to post 7 new photos of current state of plaster (we're having it re-done by a quality company) There are many, many negative reviews of this company. Reviews supported by two investigators to the first complaint's to the Contractors Board. When the second investigator retired, the man who took over was very clearly buddies with the manager of Nationwide, as the investigation swung 180 degrees from what the previous two contractor investigators found and required. Happy to start posting those letters from the Contractors Board if Nationwide wants to go down that particular path. We got crap work. We were threatened in our backyard, wife and I. Owner specifically claimed over and over "We didn't contract for, and didn't touch your lighting system." Except there are several photos of their employee installing the lights. There is a video of him installing the lights. Photos don't lie. The pool is already dropping chunks of plaster. The two companies who came to bid repair, both commented on the shoddy replastering job (four times re-done in our spa, which now has a .75 gap in the plaster/tile job because it was so shoddy. So for those still reading, look at the photos taken this morning of the pool. Hire these people, and expect your pool to look like this in less than 3 years. Plaster flaking, cracks all over the place, rough surfaces to cut your skin, hard to scrub dirt from the rough, improperly finished plaster. Two state contractor inspectors found the pool to be a mess. I wish I could prove my belief the third inspector after the other two older men retired, was either paid, or somehow compensated by Nationwide. It was clear they were friends with each other.
