The food was really good. Would highly recommend! I tried the quesa tacos de birria and they were on point!

We tried this place for the first time this past Tuesday for taco Tuesday. The people were very friendly. I ordered a taco de adobada and a taco de carne asada with guacamole And a taco de papa . Adobada street tacos are my favorite. Unfortunately the adobada taco was just ok. It lack flavor and I dislike my adobada meat finely chopped. But the micheladas were on point! And the taco de papa was the bomb! Absolutely delicious! My husband and I definitely will be back to try more of your food! We appreciate the great service and the friendly people that work there

Once again, this place rocks it! They are consistently GREAT! I don't want to over hype it but I am supper food picky, and have always been super happy with everything I have ordered! This is not the same at other restaurants, also the crew here is awesomely talented both in the kitchen and in service! They also have BEER! good beer! We take our out of state family to it ever time they visit, Everyone we have taken there has been very impressed,

I am kinda sad to say the food was average. A bit bland in flavor, both birria and carnitas. The adobada was better. So it''d be a 3 for the food... middle of the pack. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But we walked in at 1:00 pm, and most tables had not been cleaned from former patrons.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It took 20 minutes to get 4 tacos and a burrito. Not really the lunch "rush", literally and not.

Both the birria taco and taco dorado were DELICIOUS . The red sauce that the taco dorado came with was spicy so be aware if you're not into super spicy things but for me it tied it all together perfectly. Fast and friendly, they will be seeing more often soon . DELICIOUS

Was craving tacos so decided to try this place. Omg, so good! Loved the flavor. I only got two tacos, a beef quesataco & beef birria taco. I have to admit, I wanted more. Maybe next time, I'll get the combo. So, if you're in the area, try this place! I should probably go for Taco Tuesday!

Food is superb. If you are craving tacos, this is the spot. They have different styles of tacos to choose from and very tasty salsas. The service is great and staff is friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice amount of seating indoors and is quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place had great tacos. Was recommended to us and we were very happy since we live right down the street. We ordered adobada, pollo, and asada tacos and they were all very tender and flavorful. Their home made tortillas were very authentic and taste amazing. The service was very limited since this is an establishment where you order your food at the register. Cannot comment too much on it other than they were very welcoming upon our entry. My only gripe is that they don't offer chips and salsa and they don't have a salsa bar.

The atmosphere is such a cool, unique blend of old-school hip-hop culture and colorful abstract art. The absolute best part? You actually order your food straight out of a repurposed old-school bus parked right next to the main bar setup. Our server was awesome--super welcoming and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu choices. Here is what loaded up our table: OG Taco & Yard Bird Taco: Packed with flavor, tender meats, and signature sauces. (The meat did surprise us though because it comes out a little sweet) Flounder Pounder & Skrimps Carnal Tacos: Fresh, seasoned seafood options with fantastic crunch and zip. Kids OG Taco: A total hit with our son, who declared it delicious. Chips & Salsa: We had a slightly mixed experience here--a few chips felt like they were either a bit stale or just needed an extra minute in the fryer, but the salsa flavor itself was spot-on. Capacity Brewing Non-Alcoholic IPA: Crisp and refreshing beverage to wash down all that spice while keeping things family-friendly. Overall, it's a rad, laid-back spot with big flavor and a fun environment that kids and parents alike will enjoy. B.U.M.S. Pro-Tips: Beat the Peak Hour: Seating near the bus started filling up while we ate. Arrive slightly ahead of the lunch or dinner rush to grab a prime spot near the art walls. Mix & Match Tacos: Don't stick to just one style--pairing a seafood option like the Flounder Pounder with a classic meat taco gives you the best of both worlds. Not great, necessarily, but good and the prices are some of the best around. They have a ton of options, and lots of drinks, including beer. We were just picking up, and it was a very hot day. This is by far one of my favorite places for Mexican food in SoCal. As a Cali Native now living in…read morethe great state of Texas, sometimes it's refreshing to step outside the land of Tex‑Mex and get the real deal again. Colima's hits that spot every single time. When you walk in, the person behind the counter greets you immediately -- and not the dry "hi, what can I get you?" type of greeting. You get a full "¡Buenos días, mija!" with that warm, almost‑grito energy that makes you feel like you just walked into your tío's spot instead of a restaurant. Super friendly, super natural, and very SoCal. I ordered the rolled tacos plate and wow... esa porción estaba gigante. I couldn't finish it. What I loved most was the meat; this is what meat is supposed to taste like. The beef was seasoned the way we grew up eating it: a little salty, a little savory, with that slow‑cooked tenderness that lets you know it didn't come from some pre‑bagged, mystery‑meat situation. You get hints of garlic, a little cumin, and that warm, almost toasty flavor that comes from meat that's actually been browned, not steamed. It tasted like someone's abuela was in the back saying, "No, no, déjalo dorar un poquito más. And the corn tortillas? Perfect. Thin enough to get that crisp roll, thick enough not to shatter. None of that flour‑tortilla‑trying‑to‑be‑crispy nonsense. These were crunchy, flavorful, and loaded. The toppings were just as good. The guacamole tasted fresh. You could taste the real avocado which was creamy, a little chunky, with lime that actually tasted like lime and not concentrate. The red salsa had a legit kick to it. It had hints of roasted chiles, was smoky and had a slightly bitter edge that tells you they actually roasted them instead of just tossing raw peppers into a blender. It wasn't tourist spicy; it was SoCal Mexican‑restaurant spicy, which is a whole different category. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito and honestly? That thing could've fed three people. It was massive, stuffed to the brim with cheese, egg, potatoes, and fresh bacon and exactly what a SoCal breakfast burrito should be: simple, hearty, and no shortcuts. Between the portions, the flavor, and the service that feels like home, this spot stays on my list every time I'm in Oceanside. If you're craving real Mexican food and not Tex‑Mex, pull up. You'll leave full and happy. #supportlocal
