I hired him to set up my above-ground pool in 2024. Before the installation, I specifically asked…read morehim to place it in the middle of the yard because that area was flatter. Instead, he insisted on putting it in a different spot, assuring me that he had leveled the ground and that it would be fine. The pool looked okay at first, but it only lasted one season. Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.

The repair was to fix a leak and guess what, after the repair, we still had a leak! We had to hire a new company to fix the work they did. He recommendations wasn't exactly inline with my ideas but base on what I had previously read about the company before actually meeting him along with his knowledge and experience in the pool industry I trusted his views. The project was planned for March 2023. Fast forward to now the team came in and did exactly what we discussed there were some minor chances which was done with further advice when I met Derick " very nice guys he is a customer pleaser he ensure that you are 100% happy or the job is not done". I have been in the construction industry for 15 years and I have worked with pool companies on several different occasions and believe me this is the first I'm meeting and working with a company where everyone affiliated with the company from the owners down to all the workers are honest, hardworking, polite and very professional. I'm pleased to have met and work with them, I will continue to work with them going forward and I will recommend them to all my family, friends, acquaintances and business associates. These guys don't get 100% in my book they get 110% for going the extra mile in costumer's satisfaction, their prices are very reasonable and economical base on market value with you also getting value for every dollar. Thank you very much for a job well done.

Consumer Warning: Review of Playtime Pool Maintenance & Renovation…read more This review details our highly unsatisfactory experience with Playtime Pool concerning both routine pool opening service and their handling of a renovation project. We strongly recommend that other consumers seek services elsewhere. Critical Operational Failure: Pool Opening We contracted Playtime for our seasonal pool opening. During this process, a significant and damaging error was made: the winterizing plugs were left in the pool's returns. This fundamental oversight caused subsequent damage to the system. Once the issue was diagnosed by a subsequent, reputable company, we were faced with unexpected and costly repairs. An error of this magnitude in a basic, seasonal maintenance task suggests a severe lack of diligence and quality control on the part of the technicians involved. As others have noted in their reviews there is a total lack of professionalism. Every time there was an issue with the system we were left to diagnose it remotely over a video chat. Everything came to a head a few weeks before our son's graduation party. We had scheduled our system to be opened and working at the beginning of April. Things were not working at the end of May. My wife deservedly became frustrated and very upset with the constant delays and subsequently had a heated discussion with Meg who hung up on my wife. Meg then called her tech who was on-site trying to get our system up and running and she told him to leave our property immediately. The tech was great and apologized to us. He did the best he could with what he had. Meg never apologized for their mistakes. Imagine spending over $30k on a project and the owner never visited to make sure everything was working alright. Save yourself a headache and find another pool company. I can vouch for Aquastar. Worth every penny if you value your time and sanity.
