Never use or drive near these yellow Airport Taxis. One of these taxis made an illegal left turn…read more(they were in the lane to go straight) from Hull St onto Courthouse Rd going towards Genito Rd and nearly took out the front passanger side of my vehicle. I called the company and spoke to a pleasant woman who told me she could not reach the driver, and that the supervisor, Ramon, was on his way to Ft. Lee, but he would return my call after his run. Nearly two hours later I have not heard from the supervisor, so I contacted Airport Taxi again and got a man named Ghazi. I immediately asked for a supervisor and this man said he was one. I explained the situation again, and he began loudly speaking over me saying I should have called the police because this (photos) taxi was being driven by someone let go TWO DAYS AGO. I press him and ask if the taxi is therefore stolen, he said no. I ask what the drivers name would be, and he begins stuttering and seemingly makes up a name. I ask him if there is anyone other than him I can speak to, anyone above him, he becomes FURIOUS, screaming into the phone "Just call the police! You dont listen to me! What do I do? I am only a dispatcher!" He hangs up, I call back and ask for the company owner's contact information, which he refuses at first to give me. He quickly speaks some random letters (airdordd(or tt)axirec@gmail.com") and when I ask him to confirm the letters I heard, he talks over me to again, telling me to call the police.
I called back today to speak with someone else. The woman who answered was named Carmellia, she offered me an apology on Ghazi's behalf, and gave me a woman named Hannah's phone number. I called Hannah, who jumped to conclusions and believed the taxi I had issues with was taxi 208. I explained it was taxi 305, and that I had called the local police and that the police did not have any record of this company's vehicles being reported stolen. I asked her what actions the company planned to take against the driver and against their rude dispatcher/"supervisor." She could not answer these questions and gave me her husband's phone number. I tried reaching out to the husband, but he will not answer his phone, and his voicemail box is full.
Avoid this company at all costs. With companies like Uzurv, Uber, Lyft, etc, you can get a cheaper and safer ride home.
