Brought my car in for diagnostics because the engine light came on. They told me it would be $1800 but was not clear about what that was for. I came to pick up my vehicle without having it repaired and they charged me $338 for a diagnostic, the guy is a CROOK. Don't bring your car to this place! Bad news!!! read more

Had my flywheel turned and he did an excellent job and was able to get it done the same day.

I called this guy because he came up on Yelp and I needed my motor pulled out of my jeep so I can take it to a machine shop to have it rebuilt. The owner who answered gave me a attitude and told me to take it to the machine shop and have them do it. He won't put it in someone else's "sh*t". How rude. He advertises mechanic work. I didn't ask him to guarantee anyone else's work, I'm going to there because they have their own 7 year warranty on rebuilds but they are only a machine shop. This guy is rude and arrogant, doesn't offer a warranty on rebuilds or work. I can imagine why. Stay away. Lots of good places in Oregon city or Clackamas to get your car worked on, this isn't one of them. read more

If I could give a Zero star, I would. This place was referred by a friend and they had a good experience, however, ours was a different story. Horrible customer service, promised things they couldn't or wouldn't deliver, for twice the cost that was discussed, and left with a different issue in the engine after them opening it up. Don't use these this place.... The service is horrendous especially from the incompetent old guy running the place. Brought vehicle in to get tested and repaired, their quoted price to get it repaired was near the same price they charged once they opened it up and COULD NOT fix it and put it back together in worse condition then what we brought it in. I ended up taking rig to get fixed at a reputable mechanic and had vehicle back in 2 days for less then what I was charged here to opened it up and put it back together. Really not happy with this place. ordered rebuild kit from them got 47 miles on new motor. now they did not build it, I and I've got 18 years in doing this and never had a problem building a motor now here I am in Kentucky with my truck down because the oil pump failed and then I get an email telling me there are other things that will cause this too happen yeah but the proof is in the parts. I was told to mail the oil pump in and bearings and they would look at them and replace them if they felt this was the problem well that's all great but what about everything else I bought and put in it.. To beat it all off I have a son with down syndrome and this motor was the theme for his Kasons pit crew walk this year well guess what could not make it to the walk unless I had it towed.. now got to pull motor and my trans because its LOCKED UP read more

I'm with Amy, if You could only give a zero. We took our classic truck for them to replace the engine with a rebuilt. Do not believe the quote. ( He said he must have been looking at the wrong line.) We had to buy a new Gage, they claimed just went bad by coincidence When we picked it up, My husband made it to Oregon City before it died on him. He took it back, Not charging and they claimed it was before. Second time we picked it up, Same thing. Towed back again and the Son who worked on it was upset that it was brought back again. Maybe fix it right. Now my husband is upset enough to tow it to another Place to fix right. The wires were melted to the manifold. Even if you didn't do this, if you install a new Engine would you not notice, or maybe one of the times it is brought back. Now it's in the shop again because there are part missing from the steering column that wasn't locking. I'm sure the warranty is no good. I hope the rebuild is better then the service and quote.
