I've been a customer of Millar's Tire for over 30 years - back when Steve first opened the store. Now?! Ben (son) has let the store fall apart. I was just in the other day (Nov 2023) to buy new tires. Canby is a small town so it's important to take care of the locals - people who support your small business! Quality is less than stellar. Value - very high prices compared to other local tire stores... but there's more! From the moment I rolled into Point S Tire Store, the service was deflating. I was greeted not with a smile, but with a frown that seemed to foreshadow the bumpy ride ahead. I came in hopeful, ready to equip my car with the best tires for the season. Instead, I was presented with a set that was as mismatched to my car as a square peg to a round hole. The staff, while not outright rude, had an air of disinterest that could chill the rubber on a hot summer day. Their expertise seemed to be running on empty, as they assured me the tires were a perfect fit. NO! I know what tires are supposed to be on my car and they did not sell the correct tires. This can be a deadly mistake. And the prices? Sky-high. I expected premium service and products for the premium cost, but what I received was a premium headache. It's clear that Point S Tire Store needs to pump up their customer service, realign their expertise, and deflate their prices to stand a chance at a better review in the future. In a market that's rolling with options, Point S Tire Store unfortunately falls flat. I cannot recommend them, and I'll be steering clear in the future. I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. We have been taking our business vehicles to Millar's Hiway Tire for over 30 years, and we have always received great service and quality products -- under leadership of multiple generations of Millars. This reminds me that our 2018 Peterbilt is almost due for new tires, so we'll be stopping in to see Ben and company again soon. As a girl in their early 20s it is SO hard to trust any auto shop because I simply don't know enough about my car, but I do know when something is wrong & I know when I'm not being advocated for / respected. Millar's has never ever let me down. I've moved out of Canby years ago, & continue to find myself coming back. Example from today: my side wall is damaged on 1 of my tires, I went to Les Schwab & they told me I needed to replace all four of my tires (I have 30k miles on my car). I was shocked & knew that wasn't right. I even asked multiple questions & found continuous backtracking (especially when I said I was going to call my dad lol). But when I went to Millar's right after, they explained everything I truly needed & WHY, made sure to make it happen as soon as possible, & I never ever felt like they were trying to screw me over. Everyone is so kind & wants what is best / makes the most sense for customers. I just appreciate them so so so much! read more

I returned to Millar Point S after about 7 years to swap my whitewall tires onto a new set of rims I just refinished. Once again, the guys at Millar took good care of my now 60 year old vintage restored VW. These guys took the extra care needed to make me comfortable they would scratch or ding anything. The skinny: Good work, done quickly and at a reasonable rate. Not there to hold your hand. Guys did good quick work and squeezed me in when I needed new tires and alignment urgently. I would agree, however, with a past review about a general lack of 'friendliness/appreciation for choosing them' Office seemed to be a hustle and go situation, and I got answers, but they were simply blunt. We had just picked our groceries from Fred Meyer when our car wouldn't start. I was just about ready to call AAA. Instead, we remembered the Millar's Point S was just around the corner. My husband called Millar's Point S and within less than 5 minutes Neil came and jumped our car. We were then able to go to the Millar's Point S store and they changed out our car battery right away. Problem solved in less than 30 minutes!! Neil was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable, as was Stella who replaced the battery. Not the greatest customer service experience. Millar's was once a friendly atmosphere back when you were greeted by the owner himself, when it was Millar's Highway Tires. Today? Different. They didn't so much as look you in the eye, they took the keys and you sat down. Any questions were met with short answers and while waiting for the oil change, a text popped up in my phone of the report on my vehicle. Yet they didn't discuss their findings or if I had any questions. I did ask for them to top off my coolant before they worked on my vehicle. They said they would. I checked when I got home...the level was still the same. :/ They seemed more interested in getting the paperwork pushed, payment and to get you out the door. I don't feel they gave a rip. It would have been nice to be acknowledged for choosing them, but I'll go elsewhere. read more

I was on my way to work when my coolant alarm came on. I stopped at the first auto place I saw which was Miller's Point S. They were very fast and friendly, they filled me up with coolant at no charge and I was only 15 minutes late to work. These guys are great! read more

Went in to get new tires and alignment at 9am. Spent a bundle on tires and was told to come back at 5pm, everything would be done. Got there at 5pm and tires were done, but no alignment. We said we were never coming back because their word is no good. To right themselves, they offered an alignment at no charge. It was done on schedule, everything should be good right? Get in the car and the language menu is in French, after an alignment??? These guys just don't get it. read more

This place is heaven sent. We had a flat tire on our golf car and it was going to cost us big money with the golf car place. We took it in to Millar's and they found a huge screw in it and they were able to fix it just by using a plug. Its worked great ever since and saved us tons of money. They talked me down from spending too much money on a tire that I didn't need. Always nice to see an auto repair shop working toward what is best for the customer and not just for the business. We had gotten a flat tire and had called tire factory, who was the closest to where we got a flat on the road. We gave them a call and they told us that within half a hour they would dispatch someone. We waited and like they promised a half hour later one of there crew/employees had arrived. Within 10 minutes we were back on the road. We were so happy that they help us out so fast. We needs tires anyway way and bought all four tires with them. We have bought from Millars as long as I have had a vehicle! One of the things I love is how great their customer service is. We buy in Canby OR but we were on a trip down in Southern Oregon and our tire went flat. We called up Canby and they told us to take it to the nearest Tire Factory which was in Cottage Grove OR. We got there and they had us fixed and out in less then 20 mins! We have always had nothing but great service with them! I wouldnt buy anywhere else! read more

This is a great company with a great staff. Recently I had a valve stem replaced on my truck and after it was done the service tech asked it I would like to have him check on the spare tire. It had to be lowered from beneath the truck in order to check on it, the first time I'm sure since the truck was new and we discovered it was nearly flat. Not only do I now know where the spare tire is and how to remove it from the truck, I won't have to experience the nightmare of having a flat on the side of the road only to discover my spare tire is also flat.
