Added to my list of "Favorite Watering Holes"! Loved this awesome brewery. We stopped by after hiking nearby for a few beers and a snack. They have an awesome, huge outdoor dining area and we happened to be there right when the live music was starting. Indoor taproom was quite large and very cozy as well. They offer tons of really awesome beers on tap - you truly can't go wrong. POG and Acoustic were my favorites from the flight I had. But the standout for me was their seltzers. Everyone getting on the seltzer band wagon and these grumpy old men hit the nail on the head! Their staff was amazing and I loved all of their merch options. This is a very dog friendly brewery - get ready to pet all the dogs! They also have a permanent food truck that has pretzels and other assorted snacks. Cool vibe in the brew room. Many tables with games and TVs to hang out with family and friends. Nice assortment of brews. Most interesting I tried was the Choca blanco. A very sweet wheat beer with prominent hints of white chocolate. I did enjoy the stout. Nice service. The process is u pay first, then u get your flight or a chip if u are just having one. Brewery hopping is our thing. Love tasting new beers. The bartender suggested the double IPA which is absolutely amazing , I love a fruit forward hoppy beer. This place is super neat! I absolutely love the style of this place, as well as the staff are incredible! The merchandise that they have is super stylish, as well as I adore the 'sili'-pint cups. I appreciate that they are also dog friendly, as I carry my dogs everywhere. They have plenty of space for sitting and they also have beautiful views. My spouse and I are almost regulars now! The beer is great. My husband is a fan of porters and IPAs. I prefer sours, but the selection of those is usually pretty thin (like, 1 variety). They also have a selection of alcoholic seltzers that I enjoy. They have a nice outside deck, which is pleasant on nice days. On Friday and/or Saturday there might be live music and/or an interesting food truck...and a crowd. Check their website to find out what's going on. One thing out-of-towners might want to take note of is that, like lots of other places in Blue Ridge, they close up shop EARLY. 7:00 Sun - Wed, 8:00 Thurs - Sat. At least they're open on Sunday during the high season! read more

Checked out their site online as well as theiR FB before going and they were one of the few places locally with up to date information. Large, gravel parking lot with marked spaces. I was greeted immediately upon entering and I was surprised at all of the wares as well beer selection! What a friendly and customer oriented place! No samples HOWEVER if you plan to buy to take they make allow you to have a bit. They are knowledgeable and informative. I grabbed a mix and match 6 pack to go. Great brewery with great craft beer. Super friendly staff too. We arrived at about 3pm on a Wednesday, the outdoor seating was spacious with all the tables 6 - 10 feet apart. There were employees super cleaning each table and the chairs as soon as a party left, making this a safe place to spend an afternoon. Dogs are welcome too. Craft beers and sodas are available. The Hells Holler is a a nice english porter. If you like dark beer this one is very good with a chocolate malt. My favorite was the Aska Pale Ale. It was a nice light beer and perfect on a summer day. The craft root beer is a treat. Stop by the little shop they have inside and get your favorite guy or dad a grumpy old man hat or shirt!!! read more

Inviting environment, great people, fantastic brews! This place is a place for locals, but tourists are welcomed like they're family. Karaoke night on Thursdays is always a fun time filled with people ready to sing their hearts out while drinking the full bodied brews. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available with board games to play. I went there with my family to meet up with some family friends and we had a great night. They have a range of brews from stouts to IPAs and I am not usually one to drink stouts, but their choice blanco is delish! I personally chose to drink the grasshoppa IPA and sensation IPA in a 50/50 mix. If you are looking for a chill night out with friends, I would definitely recommend going here! read more

The atmosphere was pleasant and the beer was ok, drinkable but nothing that grabbed me that I'm gonna miss the place. GOM is a fun brewery in Blue Ridge. Usually they have live music and fun outdoor activities. We have visited a few times over the years. We're fine with dogs being a different establishments, but it is totally not OK to keep your dog off leash and have your dog roaming around pestering other people. Feel free to take care of your own dog but don't put it on others. Stopped here on vacation to enjoy some beers with different family members who all met up in this part of the country. It was absolutely anxiety inducing the number of dogs that were not being watched by their owners. I felt like I was in a doggy daycare, not a tap room. definitely would not returned based on today's experience, which is a shame because the beers were good. Off the beaten path, this fun brewery was a great place to have a beer and relax with the dog. Their outside patio area is pretty large and covered with shade. We visited on a random Tuesday and they had a good crowd. There was a taco food truck there that was cranking out some good looking eats. I had the wheat beer and it was great. Their beer To go was priced fairly and I can see how this place is pretty popular when the weather is nice. The staff were wearing masks too! read more

It is just a little ways down from the main downtown street of Blue Ridge. LOVED coming here during our stay in Blue Ridge. They have a pretty decent selection of their beers and an extremely friendly staff to help serve you. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and when we visited they had live entertainment in the outside section. The decor is pretty neat on the inside. They were also very dog friendly, we saw several pups both inside and outside while we were there. We topped off our visit with some specialty hot dogs before heading out. WOW! So my first time coming to Blue Ridge, my friends told me I had to stop by Grumpy Old Men. Now, I'm not even a beer kind of person. I prefer my whisky. But this place was just phenomenal. First of all, the customer service was great. If the customer service is great, that means I'm coming back for sure. The beers were actually really good! I was very impressed. The only con I have about this place was the fact that the South Carolina game wasn't being aired, however, we are in Georgia so I understand why the Georgia game had to be on! Haha.
