The people here are FANTASTIC! From making an appointment, to check in procedure, to wait time, to actual procedure everyone is professional, efficient and thorough. I can't say enough great things about them. They also have offices in Palm Coast, Port Orange and Deltona. I moved to Jacksonville in April and when it came time for my mammogram I researched everywhere in Jacksonville on my insurance plan. When it came right down to it I decided to make the trip to St Augustine. I based this decision on reviews I read regarding Jacksonville facilities, I knew Radiology Associates Imaging of St Augustine would do the best job for me, that they would take less time to check in, and that the technicians and radiologists were exemplary in the work they would do. They also have a state-of-the art 3D Mammography. Makes the whole process a dream! They are definitely "worth the trip"!

Even though I provided my insurance through the website and then again when we arrived I received text message invoices stating my daughter's appointment was over a THOUSAND dollars. There was no number provided each time I received a text so part of me thought it could be spam. Months later when I received an invoice by mail the costed was reduced showing that my insurance was correctly added. I paid the bill that day by card and received a confirmation. Fast forward to the last two weeks I have received an automated voice call about twice a week from them stating I need to contact their billing office. I called the other day to be informed even though my child is a minor, I used my contact information and insurance information they do not show that I am listed as the guardian and I would need to call back with the holder of the account (my sixteen year old) I asked for her to kindly check the information they have again and possibly review the insurance information. The rep and her manager stated they do not see myself or my husband listed on the account and they still wouldn't be able to provide us any information. I was advised to drive to Riverside to obtain a guardian form and once it was uploaded to their system they would let me know why they are calling me. I explained that is absurd to drive 30 minutes away to fill out a form so they can advise me of why they are calling me. With the manager I just requested that they send me an itemized bill showing the facility and the date of treatment, still receiving phone calls (got one today) but I should have the bill within 7-10 business days

One being last week when I was scheduled for an appointment with my primary care physician. And this was the second snafu in less than a week. The person scheduling my CT scan stated I didn't need contrast with this particular imaging service. So I went by what they said. I showed up to the imaging center 20 minutes early for my appointment. Parking wasn't problematic. This building shares a parking lot with the ER and then the imaging center is on one side. When I arrived, I went to the front desk and checked in. The woman at the front desk wasn't super nice. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she got upset when I told her that in my patient portal it said no contrast, and that I didn't get a call from the office stating I needed contrast and had to drink a solution ahead of time. She gave me two options: wait and reschedule OR drink the contrast and wait 1.5 hours. I wound up taking the later option, because honestly I wanted to get it over AND I had a follow up with my PCP to go over the results. An hour and half isn't the worst, but when you've cleared your schedule for a certain block of time, it's kind of annoying. I don't blame the front desk person or the tech, it's just frustrating from the patient perspective. I came back 1.5 hours later. My CT scan technician took me at 10:30 am and I was out by 10:40am. Would I come back to this location? Probably, just as long as I confirm the appointment and pre appointment directions directly with the office.

The front staff and techs all have taken care of me like no other. Kayla, Emily (both Emily's), and Lisa are all so friendly, warm, understanding and always puts the patients first. The facility is always super clean, modern, and upon walking in, I feel at ease. I always get super anxious doing my MRIs and everyone here makes you feel so comfortable and always attend to all of your needs. I feel super happy every time I leave the facility. My appointments are always on time. If you miss your appointment or late, they try their best to work with you and your schedule. Sometimes, there might be a wait (mostly my fault for being tardy lol) but it doesn't bother me at all. I understand as I've been to many appointments to treat my tumefactive multiple sclerosis, that sometimes especially in medical settings, the doctor, tech, nurse, etc. can run behind due to treating another patient, other issues, etc. And that's okay, it happens and you roll with it. At the end of the day, you want a facility that genuinely cares about you and here, they do. Speaking for myself but I've never had a problem with them answering the phones or receiving my reports.
