Came here last week on Tuesday because my endocrinologist needs a lymph nodes ultrasound. Personally the two stars are only how fast they saw me and the patient portal is very user friendly. However the ladies in the front were nice but not informative with my insurance. I came here precisely because my HMO told me to since it was in network. My case worker told me it would be a certain price and when I got here I paid another. So my husband mentioned it to the lady in the front desk and she said she'll look into it. She did and before I left she told us we were right! Imagine if I didn't pay attention I would've gotten ripped off. She mentioned I'll get reimbursed. read more

Who likes to get scans/images done? I don't. Maybe I'm in the minority, I'm not sure, but I'm just not a fan. It normally means there's some type of follow up needed at your doctors. Anyway, I needed to have a scan done and was kind of on a time crunch, due to follow up appointment, so I contacted precision imaging. They have three locations here in the Jacksonville area. After talking to the scheduler, the earliest appointment they had was for their St. Augustine location. I opted to take this appointment, despite it being a farther drive from my house. The scheduler gave me all the info I'd need prior to the appointment. I arrived and the parking lot had plenty of spaces. The entrance is inviting and looks farmhouse-chic. A nice touch when you're getting something you don't like having done. I walked into the office and the receptionist greeted me. She was super friendly, wearing a mask. She gave me some necessary paperwork that I filled out at the desk. She said to have a seat in the waiting area and they'd be right with me. I was early, so I sat for about 10 minutes then was brought back to a comfortable single room waiting area, fully equipped with a leather armchair for relaxing. This makes you feel more at ease. After about five minutes another woman brought me back to the imaging area. Explained the process and got to work. After about 15 minutes getting the necessary images done, she directed me to the exit and I was on my way. I was recently referred here to do an MRI from a car accident. I was impressed with how responsive they are and how proactive they are with scheduling and communication! The staff were all very nice. The techs in the back were awesome! They walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable and ok through the process. My experience led me to book another MRI with them for an unrelated issue. I had gone through a terrible experience booking with 2 other companies in town, so this was refreshing! If you are in need of an imaging center, I would highly recommend them! read more

If you need results fast, don't go here. I needed a chest x-ray STAT for breathing issues. My doctor was worried I had pneumonia. They took me right away but did not warn me that it could be up to 4 days to get the results. They knew why I was there. Stupid me assumed I would have results in a few hours. They do nothing but imaging, why does it take so long to read a chest x-ray. This place is so convenient for me, I can walk there from my home, but I will never go back. That's assuming I live, I still don't have my results. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! This is the most incompetent place I have ever been to. Their system was down for over month and they were still booking appointments for people to have imaging done knowing the results could not be read! They let me book a new patient appt during that time and didn't let me know when I made the appt and called me less than 2 hours before my appointment! Having already made arrangements at work I still went so I could at least have the images done.... I've called 3 times with no response back and finally today they picked up and said they did have my results but they didn't let me know and they did not forward them to the doctor that ordered them!! The building was easy to find with plenty of parking in their private lot. Check-in was quick and very friendly. I was told the pens were all sanitized when I had to fill out a few forms. Be prepared to fill out some COVID-19 questions. Everyone was wearing a mask and there was a big bottle of hand sanitizer on the front counter. The waiting room was welcoming with pleasant decor and comfy places to sit. The technician I had was so kind and friendly. She explained exactly what she would be doing and was very professional. Everything went smoothly. No waiting. Prices are reasonable if paying out of pocket. Their website price list is not up to date. Would totally recommend this place. read more

After reading the reviews I was hesitant, however, my experience was excellent. I arrived on time and they took me back before I could even finish the paperwork. I was scheduled for two different tests and was seen back to back. The two technicians who performed my tests were both very professional and helpful. They seemed very experienced and competent. I was in and out in 30 minutes after 2 separate tests. Everything was clean and comfortable. read more

These people are not very good in their administrative duties in a week or so they still hadn't got an approval for my CT scan and then I was lied to this morning when they told me they had called me on my cell phone to tell me not to come in they were going to have to Reschedule me after I drove 15 miles to get to them and they never called me or it would have showed up on my cell phone read more

Very frustrating that I left my original imaging center to try this place out instead (St. Augustine office). I made my appointment weeks ago. Confirmed. Took the day off work. And now, the day before (after I've take the day off work) they said they put my appointment in the books incorrectly. That was my last personal day off for the year. Now.... I need to wait till 2023. Very frustrating and very unorganized. They acknowledged their mistake. But, that doesn't help me. read more

Been waiting for 2 hours each nurse that comes by provides a different estimate of when I'll get in. When I got here service was denied to a family that was 15 minutes late. So once again the medical profession thinks their time is more important than the rest of us. Was told when I scheduled to plan on 40 minutes, adjusted my meeting schedule to allow for 1.5 hours. Missed 2 work related calls. Staff here think that waiting is no big deal, actually they seem irritated that you would question timing. Front desk was friendly, otherwise count on just being a number. This is an attitude I rarely experience in St Augustine so I may be overly sensitive. I've had several tests done here and have always had a good experience. Most recently my mammogram showed something. While I waited, my doctor was contacted and a sonogram was ordered. Since Leah, the technician, was already booked for the day, she personally came to me and asked if I could come back the next day instead of waiting. The next day I had no wait. Leah was very thorough; their Dr. Baden reviewed the sonogram while I was there. Thankfully, I left knowing I had nothing to worry about! I highly recommend this office for their professionalism, courteous service and ease of getting appointments. read more

This place is amazing! I had to get a chest X-ray and they got me in and out in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and warm. It was the best experience I have had getting any type of imaging done. This is the only place I will go from now on. read more
