Bill, Sue, and their children that work as mechanics there have always treated me like a friend and not just a customer. I recall taking my older vehicle there after work once for a quick inspection before a trip. I have some physical limitations that hinder me and Bill helped me on the spot free of charge. The vehicle was a little short on oil and he provided some oil for me without charging me for that either. That is just the kind of person he is. Affordable Auto is also honest. I know next to nothing when it comes to automobiles. More than once, the chains garages will tell me I need this and I need that, when I really don't. I then took my car to Affordable Auto and am advised that part or repair isn't really needed. If they wanted, they could take me to the cleaners because I wouldn't know any better, but they don't. I'm certain I have saved $1,000 or more thanks to Affordable Auto. Buyer beware of those chains. An acquaintance and former employee of one of said chains informed me he was reprimanded for not making unnecessary suggestions to customers regarding their vehicle repairs. The waiting area is nicer than most garages I've been to. Couches are comfortable and television is offered. If you don't care for what's on, Sue will change the channel for you. They even have a vending machine and water fountain. When taking my car in on a Saturday morning, which is very convenient for me considering my work schedule, I took them all breakfast once. Unheard of, right? I think that much of the family. You will, too. In addition to all they they already do, recommendations for other services can also be made. For example, I've lost all my spare car keys and Sue was able to tell me of a guy to go to for that. Affordable Auto is just incredible. I found Affordable Auto through the recommendation of a friend and I want to make them known to everyone I can since that friend helped me. You won't be disappointed.

After sitting an hour and a half my car got in, although I scheduled days prior and was told 10:30 Thursday was my scheduled time. After the employee had the car on the lift for 10 minutes told me he couldn't do the job and recommended another shop. He then charged me $62.50 at half a hour time. Which means estimates are charged at around $125 a hour. Total rip off. Every other place around offers free estimates or lets you know before hand the price. Save you time plus the headache by going else where.

Not only are they much less expensive than what the dealerships charge, but they are honest. Ronnie's a straight shooter and may come across as a bit gruff, yet he get the job done! We have serviced a Lincoln, an Explorer, a Suburban, a Honda, a Toyota and several trucks here. We have always been satisfied with the quality and care to our vehicles. We've referred many customers to them. It's best to make an appointment and get there early if you want faster service. My brother took his car there once to have several things he thought needed repaired, and also his State Inspection was due. Ronnie had the car looked over by the mechanic and fixed only what was required. He told my brother some of the things were not needed at that time and some weren't needed at all! He saved a pretty penny! My brother was pleasantly impressed with the assessment, the mechanical work and he said he'd bring his car here again. Ronnie doesn't "nickel and dime" his customers. He knows that a fair and honest evaluation along with reasonable pricing will keep his customers coming back!
