EDIT: Almost immediately after posting this review I was very kindly contacted with an offer to fix my lashes. A+ business practices! Original: absolutely had a lovely time, no problem at all with Baylee (Bailee? Bayleigh? I am forgetting how to spell her name), the person who helped me that day. However, I went in to get a lash lift and it just didnt take. I don't know if my lashes are too heavy or otherwise un-liftable for some reason, but when I got out of the session and checked the mirror they didnt look lifted, but I decided to go home and see if maybe it would take later? I've obviously never had a lift before lol. Baylee said they were lovely, so I just sort of believed her. Unfortunately, even though I waited for more than 48 hrs before getting them wet, my lashes remain just as flat as before I spent the $100 read more

My husband had his first facial here last week. It was easy to schedule and the staff was friendly over the phone as well as in person. I had a handful of questions answered over the phone, and was able to sit in the room while my husband enjoyed his service. I also had my one week old baby with us in her car seat in the room. My husband had two blackheads on his cheeks we could never get rid of. After the facial and extraction his skin honestly looked five years younger and the large pores have remained clear. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I was in the middle a a stubborn acne breakout that would not go away so I thought why not and try out a facial from a local skin care business. I often overlooked this place because it's so darn close to my home! I scheduled for a 4pm, The Grove Street appointment with Katrina the day of! How great is that?! I was kindly greeted upon arrival, and it being my first appointment, I filled out a form meant for information and skin history. Before getting to the facial, Katrina and I discussed any questions I had and further into my skin history. She's very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Throughout the facial she made sure to clearly explain what each product is going to be placed, what I should expect in terms of how it feels (tingling, cooling, etc.) and what ingredients the product features. I found Grove + Kane in February and have been really pleased with their level of care and quality of treatments. I specifically wanted to find a regime for caring for my aging skin as someone in my late 30s and treat some rosacea that has developed over the years. Kelsey's treatments have 100% addressed my needs and I find the benefit of them to last for weeks at a time. Since the stay at home order, I have been able to stay connected through some home products recommended through G+K. I've never gotten a facial until I saw Karen on 12/14! First impression upon walking in: clean interior with cozy, modern decor. Karen greeted me by name and offered me a drink right away. She was immediately so warm and inviting - I felt completely at ease! As a new mom, I don't get a ton of time for self care so this facial was much needed. She was gentle, explained every step and what product she was using. The best parts: blackhead extractions, warm towels after products that tingle/give a cooling sensation and the warm steam! I was looking for a dermaplaning and sugaring salon when I stumbled upon this little gem. They don't do the some of the sugaring services I was looking for, but they are an exception place for skin care. I have done facial sugaring, dermaplaning, peels and facials. Went here on a Saturday evening to get my facial with Jill. The salon is very clean and pretty. I was offered water right away and asked to fill out a form about my skin. Then we went into a room and Jill talked to me about what she would be doing and what I wanted her to focus on in terms of my skin. Then came the facial. I got the grove street treatment and it was so amazing. I was so relaxed the entire time and my face felt so moisturized and clean afterwards. I had such a great experience here last week. First of all, it's fun to pamper yourself so I give myself 5 stars for self care. Everything about my experience was smooth and made me want to come back for more. Booking an appointment online is super easy, even for a first time client such as myself. I was sent a reminder email about 6 days before telling me to discontinue use of retinoids and promptly did as told. Also within the reminder email, I was asked to arrive about 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. Getting to the location was super easy and the lobby area is very cute and inviting. As soon as I walked in the door a bell rung and the owner Karen popped in to greet me and hand me some paperwork. The form I had to fill out took no time and asked questions about ethnicity, skin issues, skin goals, etc. Jill greeted me shortly before my appointment and led me back to my room. We sat and chatted about my concerns and goals. I told Jill I was there for my first facial and just to learn as much as I could so I could continue a skin care routine at home. The facial itself was a lot of fun. Jill was really good about telling me what products she was using on me and what they would do. At the end of the facial, I was given plenty of time to get up and make my way to the lobby. I will say the other great thing about my experience is there was no pressure to buy anything! I was told about the membership and the products they used but there was no pressure to buy anything and I really appreciate that. In fact, I was determined not to sign up for a membership (prior to going in) because I didn't know if it was something I'd want and I ended up signing up for a membership because of all of the perks! Regarding the products, I purchased the PCA nutrient toner and it is awesome. The best part is that it smells like pumpkin. And since I'm a member now, I'll be back! read more

Before going here I had no idea what to do with my skin. I was one of those Macys department skin care users and I really didn't know why or what each item was doing for my skin. I love their PCA products. Did you know moisturizer isn't just to moisturize? It actually creates a barrier over your skin to help protect from damage......if I knew this I would have been using it years ago.
