Responsive staff, did a great job on our bathrooms and shower in our master bath. Came within a couple weeks of talking to them, fair price compared to competitors, and good communication. Would recommend for a quality local grout service! read more

Richard and John responded promptly upon learning our shower door had shattered. We couldn't be more pleased with their restoration services. Fast, high quality work. read more

I have not written a review like this before, but felt it necessary in this case. I called this company to find out whether or not they took on "small" jobs as I just needed the caulking done around my bathtub. A person named Richard got back to me in a very short period of time, leaving me two messages-one from a landline and one from a cell. Great. Very responsive. I called the next day and started to explain my situation to which Richard said, "Text me your address with a picture of the tub, the wall, the bathroom floor, etc." I then mentioned that I didn't need all of that work, just the tub, and as I started to explain, Richard interrupted saying, "You know what? You don't need me. Do it yourself," and he hung up on me. I had called one other agency who explained to me that they didn't do small jobs like mine, which is fine, but this guy Richard was incredibly rude for no reason whatsoever. I cannot recommend this company based upon this bad customer service experience alone. read more

If you're looking for grout work or repair - look no further. These Guys did a superb job and went above and beyond what we needed done. They explain exactly what needs to be done and were very courteous, pleasant and informative. And if that wasn't enough to promote - the price was very reasonable. 6, maybe 7 stars! read more

I have never written a negative review about a service provider before. I wish I would've been warned about doing business with Grout Rescue CT. I made the mistake of only reading what was on their website. I contracted them to clean the grout/silicone in my shower. The estimate was very high ($1400) but Richard led me to believe that as a local business their work/services were better. I like doing business locally and frankly didn't do my research. His technician arrived an hour and a half late and stayed less than three hours. Within six weeks I was getting mildew on several areas of my ceiling. When I contacted Richard to ask for followup, he was very dismissive and frankly insulting. He basically accused me of not being aware of how to take care of my shower (which I've done for 20 years). I feel so foolish for having contracted with Mr. Fogel. I am a very dissatisfied customer. read more

Grout rescue Ct did amazing work - a miracle. Extremely good value for the money. Richard was helpful and informative by phone, gave me a fair and appropriate price quote,a and Celso did the actual labor in a very professional and highly skilled manner. He worked hard and got the job done right. A large area that had had very extensive mildew was beautiful as new by the end of the day. I am totally satisified, amazed, and grateful. read more

Richard and Beri did an excellent job on my bathrooms and kitchen. Grout was replaced or cleaned as needed, shower doors were rejuvenated and they even removed some mold! Is there anything they can't do? Haven't discovered it yet! I will definitely call them again! read more

Miracle workers. I had no idea big a transformation grout work was going to turn out to be. I got an immediate estimate on 3 projects and they accomodated my need for a fast turnaround. Regrouted a tub wall that had loose tiles and cleaned the rest of the grout, cleaned grout and tiles in another shower and perfectly caulked a tight squeeze sink. John did excellent work. Highly recommend! read more

I called to get info on grout cleaning, Richard the owner said to send him pictures, so I did. He immediately responded with a price. We spoke on the phone and he was going to be in the area the next day which worked out absolutely perfect. His crew of two came and we stopped in to see how they were doing and they were very friendly and the grout was getting very cleaned. They did a good job, I left the money in the drawer because we weren't going to be there when they finished. Would definitely call them again. read more

Richard was very responsive to our inquiry, and his team of John and Mike are very skilled and professional. We had concerns over grouting in a just finished bathroom renovation. After assessing the situation, they effectively communicated and executed a remediation plan. We are very happy with the result. Additionally, the grout and caulking in two additional bathrooms and laundry room were "rescued" and look like new after cleaning. Highly recommend and will use again! read more

Great job fixing stained grout and repairing shower. Looks almost new again. Richard was able to give me an estimate after sending him pictures. John and associate were respectful and neat. Highly recommend. read more

Richard of Grout Rescue is very pleasant to deal with and provided me with many options to clean/repair my bathrooms and kitchen. I have tried everything to repair my tubs myself, but to no avail. The work was done and my home was left spotless and the work was as promised. Richard arrived on time and had given me prices ahead of time so that there were no surprises! They also cleaned my dryer vent so that my dryer is now working much more efficiently. I recommend Grout Rescue! read more

Richard was great in returning my call when I was looking for an estimate. He kept me up-to-date on timing and price via a video I took of our kitchen tile which needed grout cleaning after 20 years! And grout cleaning day, Jon and Mike came and did a great job. Highly recommend this business. read more

I live in New Jersey and called these guys for phone advice when I was doing a backsplash and left the grout on too long. They called me back that very day and gave me advice on how to fix my project- I thought that was so kind and really shows what kind of people they are. I would give them all my business if they would come to New Jersey!!! read more

Great work - super clean and thorough. Made my bathroom look like new.

I do not recommend this business. Terrible customer service, and the owner was extremely rude.

Speedy, courteous, reliable and good work. Not overpriced. What else could you want? Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

We hired Grout Rescue for our showers, baths, kitchen and tile floors at our home in August, 2016. Richard and Beri did a great job. After we moved this past year, we hired Grout Rescue again for the showers, baths and tile floors. They did an excellent job. Richard and Beri are very professional and easy to work with. read more

Richard was most informative about what to expect and he exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend him for all grout needs - new or old! Our shower looks brand new! read more

I'll give Richard the 1 star for fitting us in this week on short notice. From there it was a terrible experience. I booked the job by phone with Richard, telling him I needed the joint where the bathtub meets the wall tiles, re-grouted. He gave me a price of $400 which is high but I needed the work done quickly so I accepted this price. I live out of state and left my assistant to meet the guys and then pay them when they were done. My mistake was not insisting she watch them like a hawk. Instead of re-grouting, the simply caulked!! 2 hours of work, and not even the work we agreed upon, for $400. I called Richard as soon as I found out what had happened (within a couple of hours of the guys finishing), and he insisted I had asked for caulk and refused to accept that he got the instructions wrong. Since the work was done, and there was no fixing it now, I asked for the price to be adjusted because I would have never paid $400 for a bathtub to be recaulked. He then hung up on me. I called back and got voicemail. I left him a message, and have not heard back. This guy is rude, arrogant, and represents the archetype of the A-hole new yorker that's only in it for himself. I am sitting here in shock that a local businessman refuses to make something right for a customer. So much for supporting local businesses! Rip-off artist, BUYER BEWARE! read more

I would recommend Grout Rescue! I have used him on 2 occasions now! I found them in the yellow pages and was happily surprised how professional and reasonably priced Richard was. He and Barry were able to clean my shower, kitchen and mudroom tile and have them looking like new! They were on time and were very neat and clean and respectful of my house. Daneille read more

Repairs were made to the grout in our tub surround. Result was beautiful. Work done was as expected from initial consultation, was exactly as explained to us, and was within the original estimated price. The owner (Richard) was present at the beginning of the job to make sure things were done as discussed. The work was done efficiently, neatly and professionally. Room was left clean. Owner and worker both expressed their desire that result meets our satisfaction. Dealing with owner and worker was a pleasure and very casual. We will definitely use them again for future tile cleaning and/or grout jobs. read more

Richard was wonderful to work with. Came exactly when he said he would and fixed two glass enclosures, re-caulked another shower and resealed all our kitchen sinks. He also helped by walking thru our home to see any other items that needed repairs so that we can list our house for sale this week. Would Definitely recommend to friends read more

I had a leak in my 3rd floor shower, and I contacted Richard and Grout Rescue. I sent him images and videos of the affected areas of which he quickly assessed and accepted the job. Richard is extremely knowledgeable, and was both timely and thorough with the work completed. The leak has been fixed, and the shower looks 10 years younger. I am thankful for finding Grout Rescue, and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Was very pleased with cleaning, sealing and caulking done in my shower by Grout Rescue. Richard came and gave an estimate the day after I called. Bari arrived right on schedule and did a meticulous job and left the bathroom spotlessly clean. Richard followed up to make sure the work exceeded my expectations and it did. Above and beyond service. Professional and honest. What more can you ask for? Thank you for the great work!

I called Richard at Grout Rescue to ask about a tile floor in our kitchen that had not been professionally cleaned in years. I wasn't sure if the whole floor might have to be regrouted. Richard came the same day to look at the floor and immediately said that he would be able to fix it by cleaning the grout. He worked on a sample area to show what it could look like. I hired him, and he came the following week and did a beautiful job. The floor looks great! I would highly recommend Richard from Grout Rescue. read more

Grout Rescue rescued both of my bathrooms. I was just about ready to throw in the towel, so to speak, and subject myself to the horrible mess and expense of tearing out the existing tile and grout (vintage 1989) when I thankfully came up with the idea that maybe, just maybe the grout could be cleaned/restored/refreshed/repaired. I was absolutely delighted when Richard Fogel quickly got back to me with an honest and reasonable scope of work and cost estimate. Richard and his assistant did a superb and thorough job of rescuing grout that I was totally convinced was beyond repair. Now it looks great. There was absolutely no mess for me to clean up afterward AND, while at my house, they also did an expert job of cleaning out my dryer vent as well as the ceiling vent fans in both bathrooms. So glad I called. read more
