Instead of trying to gouged me or get me to pay him for possibly helpful services, he was completely honest and gave me several possible scenarios. None of which actually benefited him because he wouldn't make a cent. Also, he didn't charge me for any diagnostic fee which I really appreciated. And they told me bring the vehicle in for inspection. I arrived about 15 minutes before they open and surprisingly the gentlemen instead of pushing me away by telling me we are still not open asked me to come in and I was able to leave my car that is above and beyond especially because I expected a please wait.We're not open yet. So they contacted me that day. Giving me a price range. And they kept their word. My vehicle was there over the weekend, the next day, I noticed a check engine light on. So I decided to drive back To Leale's they put it in the scanner. And they noticed that it had a code related to the cadillac converter one of the gentleman there told the one that was scanning for codes. Raise up the vehicle, make sure that all the sensors are connected. They could have missed not connecting one. And that can be the cause of the check engine light. They did remove that check engine light. And also they had the person that was working on my car. The day before, and he mentioned that one of the gaskets in the exhaust before the Cadillac converter was a little deteriorated, and they recommended that I change that. I was driving to the store in the afternoon when I heard meowing coming from inside my car. I pulled over to try finding the source of the noise, and sure enough a kitten had crawled up under my car and gotten itself stuck. I went to Lander Auto and Hilda immediately put my car on the lift and began the rescue mission. 45 mins later, she was able to retrieve the kitten unharmed. You could tell she had done this before and cared about the animal getting out safely. Now here is the best part. They refused to take any payment. Hilda said they were just happy to rescue an animals life and it was the right thing to do. We took pictures and she had me out of there with my new kitten in no time.
