Again 100% to charity, a very expensive town, the more $$ collected, the more help provided to those in need! I was concerned they may be too feminine for my husband. I brought him to see them (45 minute drive) on a Saturday afternoon. The chairs had a hold on them. The employee on Saturday said, "These are on hold until close tonight. If they are not paid for by end of business today you can have them Tuesday morning!" (They are closed Sunday & Monday. I was so excited for the opportunity to buy one of these chairs! Especially after driving 45 minutes for my husband to see them. I even picked paint to match the fabric for our contractor! Monday morning I called 10 minutes after opening. I was told Yes they are here. Me: AWESOME!!! I want to buy one!!! The employee would not sell one to me until she called the other person to see if they wanted them. I said "I was told that if they were here Tuesday morning they hadn't been paid for I could purchase one" "Yes, but she is a really good customer! I will call her and get back to you " Ummm. WHAT? She had from Friday till Saturday night. LIKE EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER!!! She called me back and said I'm sorry the chairs are sold I said _______ (employee) that's very disappointing she said I'm sorry but she's a very good customer. Sad part is. I too would have been an excellent customer. My very overpriced dresser will be one of 2 first and final purchases I will make at this consignment shop. I am super to those with integrity.

Unfortunately, the overall experience with We Are Fabrics was disappointing because of the timeline and communication. When I first went in to select my fabric, I explained that I was hoping to have the project completed as quickly as possible. Since it was a custom job requiring the upholsterers to come to my home for measurements, I specifically asked about scheduling. I was told the project would probably take about six weeks. Instead, it took approximately 12 weeks from the time I placed my order and paid my deposit until I received my cushions. As the weeks went by, I had to call several times for updates. That's when I was told the upholsterers were extremely busy and backed up. I completely understand that delays happen, but I wish that had been communicated when I first started the project. Had I known the upholstery department was already booked out, I would have had realistic expectations and been much less frustrated by the delays. If you're considering We Are Fabrics, I think you can expect excellent craftsmanship. Just be sure to ask for a realistic timeline before starting your project.

They finally had told her she needs to drop it off so they could show it and suggested their moving guy. She reached out to the guy and got it deopped off and Karen's promptly told her to get back in touch with their guy to pick it back up costing her $450 for moving the table. Is this a scam? What type of business are they running here? Taking advantage of the elderly is not cool to say the least. They should at least pay the moving cost since they changed their minds.

The lead times are pure nonsense, the reps honestly buy time with loose language on when to expect an item. I have buyers remorse and I have yet to get a single item. The lead times are more like 5-6 months realistically.
