They are not cheap but they know their stuff - got my front and backyard redesigned when I moved in trying to change the 1970s and 80s landscaping to include a patio & pretty much redid our entire yard. The only thing I chgd from their plan was to decrease the size of some of the shrubs to save money. most of the perennials they put in are still doing well I've had one tree replaced but most everything else here. Construction has been a mess and they were just shut down by the City of Chicago with a Stop Work Order for failing to obtain the proper permits. They also received a warning from the City for failing to have appropriate recycling bins. The management company has been completely unreasonable turning off water without enough notice, randomly shutting down the washing machines and nickel and diming tenants. I would recommend searching elsewhere for ANY service they provide. I wish I could post pics of the mess, the terrible landscaping, the overflowing garbage and invasion we've had to deal with.

When we did the walk-through, they let us know that it would be a 2 - 3 day project. It was finally complete after 33 days. To be fair, there were some really rainy days, but an inspector had to come out to our house 4 times. In the beginning, the communication was severely lacking. We ended up having to call them almost daily to get a progress report. Our front yard was torn up for SO long, it made us seem like the messy neighbors! And we didn't have any explanation as to why unless we contacted them!! Towards the end, they were MUCH better at communication, probably because we become the thorn in their side, calling each day. At the end of the project, I hoped they would give us some sort of discount for grossly underestimating the time it would take, but alas, they did not. They chose to argue with me which left me with a bad taste in my mouth instead of giving us a little bit of monetary compensation, which would have made things feel A LOT better than they did. In the end, our project looks nice! But it was not worth the hassle. Do your self a favor and DIY or hire a different company.

We hired this company last spring to remove several bushes and trees, plant new arborvitae and…read moreevergreen trees, and refresh the mulch in our yard. I want to start by saying the crew clearly worked hard--this was a big job that took about five days, and we appreciated the effort they put in. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not match the time and effort. Three of the large evergreen trees were planted noticeably crooked, and the arborvitae were not planted deep enough. As a result, eight of them died within a relatively short time. When I contacted the company to address the issue, they initially agreed to replace the dead arborvitae. However, after that, communication stopped. They never followed through, did not show up as promised, and ultimately stopped responding to texts altogether. It's disappointing because we invested a significant amount in this project and expected both proper installation and basic follow-up service. While the crew was hardworking, the end result and lack of accountability make it difficult to recommend this company.
