We highly recommend Kevin's services, and are happy to continue working with him!

A week goes by and no response from them. Second contact, I was on my way to that house one Saturday, called her, she said she'd be out to meet me. She (or anyone from Smith Brothers), never showed. Third contact was me trying to call them that next week to find out if they were interested in doing business. Still have not heard hide nor hair from them. Not that I am going to have a tree removed at this point anyway. It'll be next spring. I get if I called them and lived in Chicago or something that was a far distance from them, but they're on the south side of WeGo, I'm on the north side.

Two weeks ago on a Thursday evening, the team manager ran the extremely noisy equipment until 8:15 pm when it became dark. This is VERY disruptive. Residents in Baker Hill cannot hear on their phones and cannot even hear their TV's. When I spoke with the team manager, he was very, very uncooperative. Today is a Saturday, and this same manager and his team have been running their extremely loud equipment since 3 pm. It is now 5:15 pm on a WEEKEND - SATURDAY. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. This has been a repeating event. THE TEAM MANAGER WAS AGAIN VERY UNCOOPERATIVE about doing the work during normal Mon. - Friday business hours of 9 am to 5 pm. Truthfully there is very little lawn at any of these locations and so it has been fairly low stress. Mainly cleanup and snow in the winter. But over the course of our engagement I quite regularly showed up at the properties to find that nothing had been done in weeks, I'd make a call and things would usually be addressed promptly. BUT it appeared I generally had to actually call them out. At the and of this season I had to call and prompt for a fall cleanup. The crew cleaned up the leaves at one property and then filled up my tenant's garbage cans AND the neighbors with the lawn waste. Yeah that was a big problem for me. I had previously showed great patience given the context...it's only a yard. right?...but Sadly , over the last snow on Jan 23 and 24 they simply failed to show...24 hours later and still nada. I have aged tenants out shoveling the snow because the people I PAY fail to arrive. When I suggested via email that they need to arrive with greater haste or I'd need to find another service...I was basically told that I had an outstanding debt and I could shove it! Oh and there billing patterns are abysmal as well... So yeah my ire is raised...I was so patient with this unreliable service...shame on me. Find another option, why give your money away.

All that changed several years ago when we found Always Wright Landscaping on Angie's List after seeing many reviews praising the service. Lorenzo does great work every week to keep our yard looking great. He's dependable and patient (he consistently deals with various children's toys and equipment that are left out in the yard). And whenever we need anything extra done we simply email Sherry, who quickly confirms with Lorenzo that it will be done and we are billed for the work on our next monthly statement.
