Don't waste your time calling or using this company. We set up an appointment and they gave us a two hour time-slot for which they required us to be home for so that we could discuss the estimate. NO ONE showed. I called the next day and was told that the manager was at lunch and someone would call me after 1:00pm. NO ONE returned the call. We will be looking elsewhere for landscaping needs. read more

My wife and I moved to Glencoe and found New Leaf as our go to weekly lawn care service. They show up when the lawn is in need of a cut/treatment and do a fantastic job. The crew is professional, polite and are extremely fast and keep our property in beautiful condition. We decided we wanted to put in a paver patio and while we looked at several hardscape companies, New Leaf had the best bid, the best idea and as it turns out, outstanding execution. Aris and his crew were prompt, worked hard and knocked out the project as quickly as the weather would allow. Aris was a treat to work with. He even went so far as to help my wife by helping her move a stroller and our newborn son in and out of the house if he happened to at the work site. Aris and his team are great! At the start of the pandemic, we decided to invest in our front and back yards. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but I knew I wanted it to look pretty and I wanted it within a certain budget. I was able to get his team out to my property quickly and we walked through both yards listening to what I hoped to accomplish. Aris was able to point out deficiencies in my yard and how to properly correct them. He also made suggestions about what would work well to accomplish a great look and pointed out future projects I could take on should I choose. His team started right away and even successfully navigated work stipulations posed by my city. The best part (you may ask), he takes pride in his work and wants to ensure it looks its best and is well managed throughout the year. His team has visited weekly to maintain the look and health of our yard. My neighbors have consistently commented on how nice my yard looks and even jokingly mentioned that I make everyone else's yard look like the black sheep of the neighborhood. Mike and his team did an incredible job on my house. His pricing and quality was great. Mike is so talented. They did a paver driveway, all the hardscaping, landscaping, built in water feature and a plumbed in firepit. Mike had better vision than the landscape architect and made suggested changes that worked out great. With the other landscape companies I talked to the owners/estimators seemed very removed. That they didn't know how to do the work. Not Mike, he was there every day working with his team. Every time there was a change order (due to me changing my mind or wanting something more) Mike was always reasonable. Best landscaper around! read more

I have a regularly scheduled service for both the lawn service as well as the tree & shrub service. There is nothing I can complain about, as both are done effectively & completely whether or not I am at home. The yard & trees all look wonderful, PLUS - they saved a mature elm tree which was dying when we bought this home! This company will not answer their phones or return phone calls. New Leaf said they would be out to give a quote. That was a month ago and still no sign of New Leaf or a quote. Here it is a month later, I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and they will not answer their phones or return phone messages. This prompted me to hop on Yelp to check out the reviews. By the looks of the reviews posted, my pre-hire experience is probably indicative of their services. I give up! I'm Moving on! No one should have to work this hard to hire a company. read more

We've lived in our current home for 20 years and during that time we've hired landscapers that were prominent within the community as well as independent companies. This is the first year having switched to new leaf landscapers that we feel we're on the right track and our property has never looked more beautiful. I scheduled an appointment with the company after seeing their ad in a home magazine. They gave me a 2 hour time frame for the appointment which was scheduled for 5 days later. The day of the appointment came and I waited over 2 hours. I called the company and spoke to their answering service. They never showed and didn't call me back either. read more

I had some backyard projects that needed to get done and I was looking for a landscaping company to do it. I called them on a Friday and scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 9AM with 2 hour window. By 11AM nobody came to the house and no one called me about the appointment so I decided to call them. I got voicemail and left a voicemail. Someone called back and didn't even apologize to me about missing the appointment and blamed it on the weather being bad and need to reschedule. I asked the guy on the phone why no one called me during the 2 hour window and he just kinda mumbled and said he missed it. So he said he can come on Monday at 4PM. Guess what, Monday 4PM came around and no one showed up. I called and left a voicemail at 4:30, no one called back. Called again between 5-5:30, left another voicemail and no one called back. They have ditched me twice! Suddenly an email came around on Wednesday and just say sorry and can reschedule. Seriously?? After ditching me twice and all they had to say was can reschedule my appointment? Don't waste your time with them. There are plenty others who are more professional and responsible. read more
