She took us to see two apartments that we found on Craigslist, both of which were a STEAL given the current market, and we were able to close on one of them within 10 days. Yes, she required a $300 deposit after filling out our credit check forms (in person, she doesn't do anything online) - but it is ultimately deducted from her fee. She's an honest woman who works efficiently, is flexible to meeting up on short notice even late in the evening, and has connections in the community other brokers do not have.

She is very nasty and asks for a large $300. deposit to hold an apartment. Her listings are also not accurate. For example, she posts use of attic but that is not true. Just be sure you want the apartment as she will not return the deposit even though she provides a receipt. She will also yell and berate you if you decide to take another apt. Complaints have been filed against her with New York State. Do yourself a BIG favor and move on of you see a post from the Realty Pros, Rental Professionals ors, imply, Frances on Trula or Zillow. I happened to see people viewing the apt near my home, and I walked in. After seeing the apt, the agent took my number and sent me the link to apply, which I did promptly. I submitted W2, photo ID, 3 pay stubs, portfoilo statements, recent bank statements. Once docs were submitted they demanded a Zoom meeting where I was asked to send a copy of proof of rent payments for my current apt. Once they got this , they asked for 2 more bank statements. (The other 2 bank statements and proof of rent payments were NOT a requirement of the application.) A week later, my application was denied and credit was never run. This was an invasive, discriminatory practice. My credit score is fine and income is more than sufficient. I would not apply with this business again. They are discriminatory and shady.
