Filled with plenty of fresh greens, quinoa, tomatoes and lots of chicken. Shaved Parmesan cheese and walnuts made a delicious complement to the other ingredients and the pesto vinaigrette was the perfect dressing! My wife loved her apple salad with shredded kale, wild rice, apple, dried cranberry, toasted almonds and plenty of roasted chicken. She substituted mozzarella cheese for the goat cheese that is normally in the salad for a slight up charge. The salad is finished off with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The orange dreamsicle smoothie was also excellent. Made with banana, orange, vanilla and almond milk... a tasty sweet treat to enjoy with my salad. The service was excellent as well. The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me decide on which Smoothie to order as I was mulling over the Raspberry, Strawberry and Orange Dreamsicle. We both liked how we received a choice regarding the amount of dressing we wanted for our salad. Light, medium, heavy or on the side. Being a dressing lover I opted for heavy dressing, while my wife asked for hers somewhere between light and medium. She probably should have just gone with medium as it seemed not quite enough for her taste. Homegrown is set up where you order at the counter and can watch as the staff creates your salad or bowl. There was plenty of seating to handle the lunch crowd which grew as we dined at our table. I would definitely recommend Homegrown for your next outing for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

She went with the Buffalo tofu salad, and I ordered No Big Dill (falafel, Kalamata olives, feta, dill dressing) - I'm in a hardcore dill phase right now. My favorite part about Homegrown is how everything is chopped up and tossed together so perfectly, with the dressing lightly coating every bite. Honestly, how nice would it be to have someone make a salad like this for me regularly?! The only drawback is the price. My bowl was ~$20, which felt a little steep for a salad. That said, it was fresh, filling, and really well prepared.

It came with rice and salad with your choice of toppings and a ton of small sauces. All the sauces are delicious, especially the Tzatziki. The meats were tender with some crispy edges that gave a nice texture to each bite. I also ordered a tikka chicken sandwich with lemon pepper fries, a 4 pk of falafel with hummus, a mango Lassi and extra pita. I enjoyed it all. The chicken was literally pieces of thigh meat marinated and grilled with your choice of toppings and a special sauce. The chicken was extremely tender and flacorful. I've never had lemon pepper seasoning on my fries but i certainly will now. Yum. The falafel wasnt overly dry and had good flavor along with the hummus. The mango Lassi was tart yet sweet and helps you to digest everything! I will 100% order from here again!

My partner ordered for us saying it's going to be a great lunch, and it was. He tried this place before. The large option was a perfect size for two. It's one of those restaurants where the best way to order is through their website. Or, just look at what they offer and which combo fits your taste buds the best. It would speed up the order process as well (at least for me;). I am not someone who can evaluate Middle Eastern cuisine from extensive experience or frequent consumption, but you should definitely visit Papa's Halal Gyro. It's truly worth it. Then judge for yourself. Yes, the garlic sauce is very intense but delicious. Just don't have it before a business meeting or if you are planning to have a rendezvous soon after your meal. The best, find a partner who loves garlic as much as you do ;). Next time, I'll try White Home/Dill Sauce with just a splash of Mint Sauce, and maybe a little Garlic Sauce on the side.

Another work lunch = another excuse to eat somewhere delicious!…read more This was an obvious choice, especially since it can be tricky finding a lunch spot on a Monday. Just a heads-up: this place gets BUSY around lunchtime, and they won't seat you until your entire party has arrived. That said, the tables turn over pretty quickly, so the wait didn't feel long. There were plenty of tempting options on the regular menu, but my colleague and I both went straight for the Great Pumpkin Burger, and WOW! The sweet potato bun, toppings, and all the fall flavors came together perfectly. Definitely one of those burgers where you're thinking about it again later. She also ordered the Black Bean Dip, which had a surprisingly delicious little kick. She said her kids absolutely inhale it when she brings home the leftovers, so apparently this one gets the family seal of approval, too! Great food, fun seasonal options, and definitely worth braving the lunch crowd.

The menu has lots of vegetarian options, and many of the desserts are listed as gluten free. The French onion soup broth was delicious, even if the onions were only translucent and not caramelized. The ingredient that did not square with me were the croutons of seeded rye. Maybe a mistake? The color scheme is purple walls with grey baffles. The noise-abatement measures are somewhat nullified by the volume of the overhead speakers playing late 80's/ early 90's British Wave. (Spandau Ballet, anyone?) The waitresses were lovely, and worked well as a team.

The wings were some of the crispiest I've had and were so well sauced. The beef on weck was massive, and even the toddler pizza was generously sized! My kids also really enjoyed our waitresses. They were so friendly and took the time to chat with us about living in Niagara Falls, which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming. If you're visiting the area and want to step away from the touristy spots for a meal at a charming, diner-focused restaurant with great food and genuinely kind service, I highly recommend Judi's. We loved our experience and would absolutely reccommend.

This is one place I return very often and recommend to anyone who comes in from out of town or just something different in the Falls.

I ended up going with Lavin's Food Truck and enjoyed a tasty wrap for dinner! The gentleman taking orders was conscientious and friendly! I believe they are cashless, but I typically pay with credit card anyway so I am not 100% certain. I placed and paid for my food pretty quick and waited about 5-10 minutes for my dinner to be made. Also, their menu is small but, in my opinion, this allows them to really hone in and deliver better quality. I ordered their Dylbowski Wrap, which is a wrap filled with grilled chicken, bacon, onions, their homemade roasted garlic mayo, provolone cheese, and mixed greens. The wrap was excellent! Everything inside tasted and looked fresh! Nice big pieces of grilled chicken and nicely-sized pieces of real bacon! Plenty of fresh mixed greens inside. The garlic mayo was thoughtful drizzled inside and amplified the flavors of the wrap. The wrap itself was hearty and held everything inside with ease, plenty delicious! For the wrap and a bottle of water, I paid about $18, which I thought was pretty good for food/beverage at a concert/event. I am impressed with Lavin's Food Truck! Both the staff and the food were excellent. I would not hesitate hitting up this food truck at another concert/event!
