Update: Business deleted its page to eliminate my review, without even commenting or pm-ing me. Extremely disrespectful and disappointing behavior to see in adults. Maybe try being friendly and just apologizing.

Suggestion: have a community event to make a lil amends for this unintentional noise grand-opening disruption on your part
I live across the street from this new location, in a building with 100's of other residents, many of whom work from home, like me.
Their grand opening began at 8am this morning (10/21).
Right now, they have a dj announcing and blasting music. It sounds like club music. At times, the dj is blaring announcements into the mic. They're trying to attract customers with noise and although there is a small shopping centre here, it's pretty much just suburbia. We're not on a major roadway.
So the owners, Rizwana and Jay Mirza, are just disrupting citizens, many of whom are working from home or resting on a much needed day off.
I trust they mean well, but a quieter approach would have been the more effective marketing tactic to ramp up day of excitement.
You could have done the old fashioned huge signs on the corners of nearest major roadway thing, giving directions/pointing to locations. Also maybe 2-4 employees milling around the small shopping centre that surrounds the new market, giving out coupons and cheap merch (hopefully an object that when used, advertises your brand for you!). They can engage new clients and welcome them individual.
You could also have asked to post flyers or even have an individual event for residents of this big old building across the street. We were excited about your new market. I'm not anymore. Cause you woke me up at 8am, when I could have slept another hour and a half...and can still hear you now, which is distracting me from work. I'm guessing I'm not the only one upset here.
Suggestion: have a community event to make a lil amends for this unintentional disruption on your part. Post flyers everywhere, irl and online, but try to make it an intimate community event. Invite the community to a small multi-hour gathering. Get silly, make it kitch and old-fashioned. Have a caricaturist (kid from local arts college who will trade work for a steep discount on food for a few months of steep discounts on food, all you can grab on the just expired stuff, and a lil money).
Get the sidewalk chalk out for the kids.
Play some chill beats.
Hand out some cheap food (stuff that's about to go off anyhow)...hot dogs, hamburgers and fries...vegan versions...gluten free lettuce wrap option.
Hang some white Christmas lights outside to give the mood a lil magic.
BUT DO IT FROM AFTERNOON TO EVENING, with a rain day or 2 back-up already on flier! (that's how we did it in the old days...the old days being 10 years ago:)
That's how I think you could really engage with your small business' new community in a way that will not push us away with disruptive dj-ing at 8am, but instead draw us in with a chill, welcoming event. You could associate your brand with a safe, comforting and fun sense of community via that event. People love spending money at stores and with people they can trust. Make yourselves that store/those people, and make more. Just some food for thought.
And now I'll try to continue attempting to ignore the wannabe dj for a wedding, bat mitzvah, quincinera, [insert any party you kinda only like cause of the free booze and food here].
Good luck with your new business (that part's not sarcasm). read more
