I do my weekly grocery shopping at Giant Centre Park, and I usually shop online and pick up. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. When there have been issues with my order they are quick to respond and rectify an error. They have a lot of products that you can't find at other stores and there are a lot of weekly specials and online coupon. When I've shopped in the store the staff are ready to assist me and it's organized and clean. This store recently updated its set up and it is more modern looking now. Shout out to the online pick up staff for consistently great service! read more

Stop by to get seafood and veggies for a salad. This particular Giant is a bit smaller than other locations. The seafood section is limited. Also, The feta cheese selection was limited. read more

This location is well stocked, clean and bright. The staff is helpful and the food is fresh.

Rudest cashiers and employees on the face of the earth. You can tell no one wants to be working there, but I'm sorry. I normally don't want to go to work each day either, but I do, and I dont treat other people like sh*t because of it. This store should be bulldozed or re-purposed and make it into another store where employee are not lazy, beligerent, and trashy. I don't care what kind of store -- any store would be better than this. I'm sorry, but this is a trashy store. I started driving to a Giant 15 miles away, even though this Giant is 4 blocks from me, because of how horrible the employees are. There are 2 girls that are especially lazy, rude, and hateful, Fatima and Serenity. BTW I don't set a high bar for grocery and retail workers, I know it is maybe not a fun job. Just act civil. If they can't, Giant should not give them jobs in which they have contact with the public. read more

The store was clean and well stocked. I didn't have to wait long to check out which was a plus and the staff was friendly and helpful.

None of the scales in the produce section work. This has been going on for weeks. It's all very inconvenient.

Abysmal supply of frozen vegetables. They didn't even have regular frozen cut green beans, by the way the real giant brand is great, but they only had steam in bag. Thinking it must be the same beans in a different bag, I bought them. They were disgusting. Even with butter and salt I couldn't get them to have any flavor whatsoever. So in the trash goes the whole bag. And by the way, someone check their calendar, it's 2026. Who is ignorant enough to boil food IN A PLASTIC BAG?? Trying to get cancer? Why not sell actual frozen green beans. This store is 4 blocks from my house and everytime I go I regret it because of the poor selection. Then I end up driving all the way down to Cradlerock. And yes, as other mentioned, lot of the employees are rude and bizarre. read more

Stop in here from time to time to grab a few things because it's conveniently located across the street from my job. The shelves are usually pretty well stocked. The employees are usually very friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be very hectic because it's shared with the rest of the business in the shopping center. Usually very clean inside when I have been. There. They don't have many cashiers working so self checkout is the main way to get your groceries. Can be annoying when it's crowded and you have a lot of items. Still ok to stop here from time to time between major grocery store runs. Prices are high just like every other grocery store in the area. It nice that they have the digital coupons so be sure to check the app for any before you comes read more

It's a more modern Giant. I found several items with no price tags. Generally the employees are nice at this location.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Dereje. I was in the produce area digging through the strawberries that were on sale, BOGO. Many of them looked bad. He saw me, came around to inform me there were more by the front entrance. Afterwards I was looking at red delicious apples which was limited and he asked if I needed more. Lastly, I asked him if there were any smaller sweet potatoes and he went to the back to check for me. When I came home and told my husband who normally does our grocery shopping, he knew exactly who I was talking about. Dereje definitely went above and beyond and has exceptional customer service skills. read more

This Giant location is extremely unfriendly toward teenagers. It feels as though the employees think every teen that walks in is there to steal. They force you to put your bags down and certain workers keep an eye on you throughout. It's almost as though they don't want business. Not coming back. read more

This Giant does the worst job of keeping their stocking up to date. Today, they were totally out of Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits and croissants! Out of stock on a weekend? Inexcusable! I am going to switch to the Dorsey Hall Giant which is much much better keeping their stock current. Tired of this Giant's mediocrity. Doesn't Ahold check on stocking in their stores? They should. read more

Increasingly, the quality of supermarkets in Columbia is plummeting. The one at Palace Station is no exception. Small carts are tough to find because they are often stolen and dumped elsewhere by locals. The entire store is dingy, and the bathrooms range from marginally clean to septic (depends on the day). There are Just enough people who still care to keep the store running to some minimal success, but that won't last. Most are simply unhelpful and sullen. Selection is good, though, and sales prices are acceptable for the area. You'll absolutely get what you need in a pinch...just do what you can to avoid being in a pinch. read more

After I paid for my grocery items in the store, I requested a rain check for Perdue chicken nuggets showing the ad to Pinky B. at the customer service desk. Pinky asked me if I looked for the nuggets. Really? Why would I ask for something if I had not looked for them? I told her the nuggets were not in the display case. I have been shopping in this store for over 10 years. Typically, if the nuggets are not in the display case, they are out of them and they give me a rain check with no questions. Pinky stated she would call to see if they had any in the back. I explained that would not be necessary. I just needed the rain check so I could leave. She picks up the phone and starts calling. I explained I could not wait and just wanted the rain check. She ignores me. She speaks to someone over the phone and asks me how many nuggets I want. I explain again that I need to leave and cannot wait for them to restock and she shares someone named Milan stated I cannot have a rain check for the item. I took my cart with my bags of purchased items back to the display case where the nuggets are typically found and snapped a picture because there were still no plain nuggets there. A man approaches with 3 trays of nuggets in his hand and states the plain nuggets were in the raw meat section. I was not there to shop for raw meat and the sections are not close to each other. Super Weird! Additionally, I did not ask for 3 trays of nuggets. When I attempted to engage in a conversation with this gentleman, he turns his back, starts walking away and states I can speak with the store manager. WOW! I understand this may be a new policy but if this is how you are treated AFTER you have made a purchase and are ready to leave the store, I will take my business to Safeway and Wegmans. read more

My go-to grocery store solely on location. It usually has everything I need unless it's something store-specific. Generally everything is usually stocked, but there were numerous times i've seen or accidentally bought outdated products on the shelves. They usually take returns but it depends on the product. I also don't recommend going shopping at night (anytime past 9) because they typically close all of the self-check out lanes and only have one register open, two at max. During the day, self check out lanes are the way to go unless there's a problem. Then employees take their sweet time to get to you. read more

I've been coming to this Giant for 13 years now. It's the closest place to me and by far the easiest place for me to stop off after work. Lately, though, I'm starting to think I should find another regular grocery store. My main complaint is a one of the employees I've encountered in the deli named Robert. I usually place my order at the electronic stand and do my shopping while its bring prepared. It saves me time, but it also helps the deli folks not have a huge crowd waiting while filling my order when they can. The problem is, twice now I've received a text saying my order is ready, only to make my way over to the counter to discover it hasn't even been picked up by the staff from the order dispenser to be prepared. That alone isn't a big deal, but the sheer attitude I got from Robert today was uncalled for. And it's the second time it has happened. The first time, I let it pass - everyone has a bad day - but this is twice now. I'm beginning to think it's a habit. To make matters worse, he was in such a hurry to finish it up that he gave me the wrong size. I noticed it right away and told him what I ordered, only to notice when I got to check out and discovered it was STILL wrong and the top of the container was cracked open. Come on, man! Rather than this turning into a bitter tirade about a particular bad experience, I'll also say that I've had issues with this location's produce for years now. It always seems to expire long before it should, so I've taken to either buying my produce elsewhere or only buying it from this location in small quantities. To end on a positive note, I want to say that Tuesday (yes, that's her name) is one of the most pleasant people in the store, and I'm always happy to see her around the place and to compliment her. read more

Worst Pharmacy I've ever been to. In 3 separate occasions I've had to feel a prescription here and every time I've dropped off they told me come back in an hour. I've gonna back at lest 2-3 hours later and they tell me to come back in another hour!!!! The last time I went they asked to hold onto my insurance card and when I asked for it back they lost it!! Never go here!!!!!!! read more

The Giant employees who shop for customers are consistently ignoring the one way arrows in the aisles. When I challenged one woman she was quite sarcastic and said she was allowed because she works there. read more

This is my local Giant and I will stick by it through thick or thin. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Giant usually. I think they're overpriced, even with the Giant card. However, they have a wide variety of every major brand, some good generic stuff, and the sales aren't bad. As for my local store, I think the staff keep this place well-stocked, organized, and clean. I've never had a problem here and I'm usually in and out quickly. Unless I'm doing shopping for the family, and then I'm wandering the aisles on a cellphone trying to figure out what my wife wanted picked up. Regardless, even with bigger, "better" stores in Columbia, I will stick with the Giant up the street from me. read more

Its not a bad giant... but when you compare it to others in town it's hard to get excited. I'll start with the positive however. They have an entire organics section - complete with fresh produce, freezer section, fridge section and dry goods. The selection is slightly better than most places here, but they have crammed in some items (like Kashi cereal) that most stores keep in the regular section. The place is kept pretty clean and is well organized. I can't get really excited about going here because the produce never seems to last quite as long. I've had a few under ripe avocados just rot instead of ripening. Mangos that lacked flavor. The fish section is similar - after going to other places in the same town - I just don't get seafood here unless its canned. Sure, you could pick up Tilapia and be fine, but a good cut of fish or something unusual - stay away. Otherwise - the staff is helpful, the prices are cheaper. As an added bonus you can get a 10 cent a gallon discount at Shell by spending $100 in a month a Giant and then using the same rewards card at Shell. $200 gives you 20 cents $300 gives you 30 cents etc (up to $1.50) read more

Looking for some fresh meat this is not the place. Everything seems to be within a day or so of expiration. I've been to other giants they seem to have a better meat department I'm just looking for a good steak to share with my boyfriend but ill move on for now. read more

Fresh food seems to spoil rather quickly from this location. Loved their donuts until the day I was eating one a discovered a hair. A customer brought in a non service dog and management didn't address the issue. Card was charged twice for one transaction, I brought it up to the manager and received a snarky remark. I ultimately had to call my bank and they refunded my money. I wouldn't suggest this location. Just drive a little further to another one. read more

Good local grocery store. Convenient, reasonable prices and appropriate grocery items.

Giant hasn't always been my go to for grocery shopping but it was conveniently located near my home. The prices to me seem a little on the high side, but if you know how to work your coupons you'll do just fine. They always seem to have good deals on there fresh seafood which always brings me back. The staff are always helpful, and ready to help you find that one item you really came for. read more

This is one of my favorite Giants, they have a big parking lot and in a cute shopping center. The store is fairly new and has been updated pretty recently to compete with other up and coming markets. When wholefood and wegmans opened I thought for sure this store would go under, but it didn't it survived and I guess its because they have awesome staff and prices. The prices are pretty inexpensive and if somethings not in stock they'll give you a raincheck or even make it a point to order a specific item for you. I really feel like this store is a community store and as long as they can keep the teenage staffers in line the store will thrive. Giants will continue to get my service. read more

The only reason I go to the Giant is because its practically right across the street. The pharmacy is 50/50 on whether they have my prescription ready or if they have or are able to communicate with my doctors to get refills. The produce department is sad. I have gotten moldy produce on multiple occasions. Most of the check out associates clearly don't want to be there. Its a small Giant so they only have the very basics. If you find something you like, don't bank on them having it next time. read more

Don't shop at this place too much! Not much great deals. The staff are nice and friendly.

I decided to try this Giant which was close to the jobs I had in the area. The Giant supermarkets are pretty standard in this area. Did not notice a major difference in the layout from the one I usually go to in Bowie. They did not have wifi access which I am used to at Giant. When I entered the sale paper was not at the door but on the other end of the supermarket which was odd. No difference in freshness or sales that I could tell. Pretty average I would say. read more

Hard to say this Giant, but you have finally driven me back to Safeway, which I never thought I would say. Two of the last three weeks, I have walked into this Giant and half the store is roped off. Two weeks ago, all the meat counters were empty, this week, every cooler was empty with the food being yanked; vegetable, meat, hot dogs, anything being kept cool was behind plastic curtains....No signs on the store doors to say why or what was going on. LIke I want to just shop the middle aisles? If I am going to have to go to different store for meat and dairy, why shop here in the first place? I must have passed three employees without one saying we apologize or why? It was a frantic rush to get all the perishables off the store floor. How about an announcement over the PA system? I honestly doubt I will come back, the experience isn't good enough to give you a third chance. read more

This location has recently added an organic section. The berries are always struggling but can't complain about the other organic choices.

Last week I had one of the most positive encounters with a cashier there. I don't have the cashier's name, but she was one of the most pleasant and courteous cashier I've ever met at a grocery store. Very nice staff here. read more

This Giant is very close to my home. It's just ok, at best. I'm tired of having things on my list and they are out of stock. Last week I had 3 things on my list and they were out of stock on these. So the next day I went to the Elkridge Giant and they had all 3 items that Centre Park Giant was out of. Also, they don't carry several items that I like and can get at other stores (even at some other Giants). I know it's a smaller location but I wish they had some way to expand the store to offer more selections. The bakery at the Long Gate Safeway has so many more freshly baked products available. I got peaches a few weeks ago and they went in the trash. The inside of all the peaches was a strange dry texture and did not taste good at all. I hate wasting money like that. I stopped ordering birthday cakes a few years ago after getting stale cakes 3 times. I don't know if they corrected this problem but I won't take a chance anymore. read more
