Sooooo much space, and I love Wegmans that have an upstairs. The Woodbridge, VA Wegmans and the Fairfax, VA have an upstairs and it's the best. Though the Fairfax one is littered with GMU freshman. And the Woodbridge one is simply too out of the way. I happen to be taking a business meeting in MD, and I was so happy to see a Wegmans close by! Always my go to!

The casher didn't even acknowledge me and I was standing right in front of him. I just walked away without getting checked out at the register and went to self checkout. And then the casher got off of his phone. I get being on your phone between customers or for emergencies but just do your job. I don't want to assume bigotry because its in a direction we're not used to acknowledging in America but the cashier also ignored the customer in front of me as well while he was on his phone. Refusing service based on ethnicity is illegal.

Let me explain why... I happened to have dined in the Columbia area and decided to knock out my grocery store shopping before going home. I remembered seeing that there was a Lidl nearby. Let me just tell you right now that using GPS to find this market was interesting. It's in the back end of the mall (I think?!)- it seemed to be on the opposite side of everything else. Lol. Anyhoo...it was around 9am when I arrived, so it was still fairly quiet. Then disappointment started outside when I had to grab one of those huge, bulky shopping carts! Most Lidl's in the area apparently got rid of the small carts for whatever reason. I went inside and started with the produce section on the left. This layout reminds me of the Timonium location, but with a slight downgrade. That section is so tight! I kept bumping into other customers with that big, clunky cart. It took a bit of time to sift through the fruits and veggies because they honestly weren't the freshest. I picked a bag of peaches and discovered that one of them was mushy (included a picture). One of the green peppers in my pepper pack had mold growing at the stem. I didn't notice that until I got home. And one very sad zucchini was literally melting in the box with the other zucchini. It seemed that someone put it on top so that a worker could see it. They also seemed to be quite short staffed. There was initially one cashier open. When the line started to become backed up, another cashier opened his line briefly. They didn't have self-checkout, which was disappointing. There no reason for me to visit this location again. Nothing spectacular stood out about it & the things worth noting weren't very good. There just seems to be an all around lack of care and as a paying customer, that's just unacceptable.

The store was well lit and very welcoming. We had no idea what it would be like and we didn't have any specific items we were looking for. We just went to check out the selection and we were very pleased! In addition to many of the items we buy regularly, we also found a unique selection of different Food and snacks from different areas. The pricing seemed comparable, if not lower than what you find at regular grocery chains. However, the meat and items that are marked down significantly are often close to their expiration date, so make sure to check! We probably won't go on a regular basis because it's about 30 minutes away from us, but this is definitely a grocery store that we will check out periodically.

Getting inside, the foyer displays a sign of it being under remodelling. The store wasnt extemely busy but steady flow. I found my select items to include great selection of picked out flowers. This area has a higher population of Asians therefore, I believe my product was at this location. I went to checkout and within 10 minutes I was out to resume the rest of my day. Sometimes driving to select areas provides for a variety of options that other stores lack.

It's easy to get Amazon packages at Whole Foods, Columbia MD…read more Here's the 3rd episode of my new use of Amazon Lockers to get deliveries :-). Whole Foods it's a little bit off my regular path. But there's some advantages. The parking lot is huge, and busy enough that you don't have to wait long for an upfront space if you need that. The store has long hours. But best of all, they give you more than a week to get your package. So far the other lockers say they will send a package back after three days! If you can park near the left-hand doors when facing the store, you just had almost all the way back, turning left in front of the in-store pizza stand. On your left will be a small counter staffed counter. The Amazon app will pull up all your deliveries on the orders tab. The staff scans the barcodes from the app, and you're good to go. Easy Peasy! By the way, there's a cute bear-and-cubs sculpture out front, from the 1969 30th anniversary of the Rouse Corp! The artist, Beniamino Bufano, has more climbable touchable stone animal sculptures on the Baltimore campus of Johns Hopkins University.

Finally I asked a lady working at the self checkout. She suggested looking in the pudding or the baked good aisle. I originally looked prior to asking her, but went back. I found it in the pudding aisle, but not the brand I like. I purchased the Royal brand. It was St. Patty's Day so they had balloons, cookies, and cakes to celebrate. Also, with Easter around the corner, they have an aisle with Easter merchandise including gift baskets and candy. This location is in Harper's Choice Village Center.
