I'm currently in the market for a basic weight rack and bench which they were very helpful giving me some options on. During the process I did realize a website named Strengthwarehouseusa.com had the same rack and bench, but at a cheaper price. Obviously, I like to support local AND they advertised a 100% price match guarantee on my quote, their website, and at the physical store location. So I put the items I wanted to buy on the websites cart and sent pics and the link to them so they could match and proceed with my $1500 purchase, but got an email just saying "cant match price". Was very bummed as they were STRONGLY advertising the price match guarantee. I like the business, but I do want to warn other customers that the price match guarantee they offer is a lie. So I am ordering the stuff I wanted from the site at a cheaper price, free shipping and no tax. I have no problem with them not matching prices, JUST DON'T ADVERTISE that! But service is good there. Josh helped me a couple of years ago and Vin helped me most recently. I have the feeling the owner declined to price match, and not Vin directly.

I called Fit Equipment Etc., and George was amazing; he sold me an excellent piece of equipment AND arranged for super-timely delivery. Mike and Nate (the deliver/installers) were great too. I can't say enough nice things about George, this company, and Mike and Nate, or overstate how grateful I am to them.

Given that there is no directional signage posted that shows players how to get to the range, I drove up the hill yesterday instead of down looking everywhere for the range,. I finally asked a surly cart boy where it was and he responded with derision that "it was right down the hill." When I got there the ball machine was overly difficult to navigate so I drove back to the cart boy to request assistance. He made it clear that he was put out but drove down to the machine with me. Once he got it working it was out of balls! at only 1PM on a Sunday. I asked how that could be and why wasn't it being serviced? his response "Oh well..there are only two of us. You're happy to complain to the Head Pro. Which I did in the pro shop only to be told A) you dove right by the range coming into the course. So he was blaming me for not being able to find it. B) he also shrugged at the machine being empty..and like the cart boy said Oh Well." If any of these staff worked for a Corporate Service Industry Company they would be terminated on the spot for their behavior. I reminded the Head Pro that in fact golf course are in the Service Industry and he might want curb his attitude and that of his unprofessional and rude staff.

Other than that I live in Pittsfield Mass, found a camper online used for 18,000. I drove 2 hrs each way plus the buying time, to look at it and wound up buying it. The sales guy said that everything I bought extra and the camper would be checked out and cleaned before pickup. I was like great thanks. There were problems with the registration so I did a second 4 hr round trip and when everything was set I again asked if everything was going to be all set and they said yes everything will be done and while I was there bought more stuff for camper and truck, I scheduled the camper pickup the same day I was getting the bumpstops put in the back of the truck for towing and while I was there again asked if everything was good they said everything was done and I should have a great first camper time. all together between buying and parts about 23,000 spent. got the camper home and parked on my back lawn and while I was putting things away and putting on the new bumper end caps the I ordered so I could store the new black and grey water hoses I was curious how easy the hoses went on and the ease of operation of the gate valves , So I knelt down on the gras removed the cap and tried to cycle the valve, When I did a 3 inch pipe load of crap came rushing out am me and while trying to get the valve closed ran up my arm and covered my lower body and lawn. After taking a shower I called camping world they came to my home to pick it up said they were sorry and would look into it , I got the camper back a week and a half later and the inside was not even cleaned the air vents looked like a dryer vent screen and the floor was covered with dirt. and all they could say tome is you should never kneel in front of a sewer line unless you know it is empty. I asked 3 different times if it was going to be ready before taking it home and they said everything was set and I should not have to worry about anything and with everything extra I bought I should have a great time. They are not a trustworthy company and I was lied to about the work done . Charles Walbert

The golf course shares the entrance to the police station, though there is dedicated golf parking around the back. While I really want to like this course, the staff can be unwelcoming, and the course doesn't drain well and is often saturated. Greens are on the small side, so despite being a short course, approaches need to be accurate. Certain tee boxes are in horrible shape, presumably because many hit irons of the grass rather than teeing it up. It is a walkable course - I would not recommend carts due to the aforementioned water issues. Greens fees are fair - currently $22 for weekday.

Avoid at All Costs -Unprofessional Staff and Management with Alarming Behavior…read more I recently had an encounter with Southborough Golf Course that was so egregious I feel compelled to warn others. My son was at the course with a group of friends. From the outset, the desk clerk "Ken" gave them attitude during check-in, not just a gruff tone, but a clear lack of courtesy or patience. The boys chose to let it go and kept things moving. Later, while waiting for me near the putting green, my son (admittedly not aware chipping wasn't allowed there) chipped a ball. Rather than simply informing him of the rule, Ken chose to make a scene, approaching with a sign and sarcastically asking, "Hey, let's play a game. It's called can you read? When I picked up my son and heard the story on the drive home, I did an about face and brought him back to the course to hear Ken's side. Unfortunately, Ken's response to me started as him being sweet as a pie but quickly became hostile as I inquired parts of his account than what had occurred with the boys. He then gave me attitude--confirming my son's version of events without me needing to ask much. I told him that this kind of behavior doesn't set a good example for young golfers or anyone, and that being older doesn't entitle someone to speak to people with contempt. I then used strong language in return, not something I regret given how he was acting. Ken then chose to block my car and call the police, ultimately requesting a no-trespass order for both me and my son. The staff's behavior was not only unprofessional, but frankly, hostile and unprovoked. What's worse is that when the incident was brought to the attention of management, they defended the conduct and upheld a no-trespass order rather than reviewing the objective video footage that would have clearly shown what actually occurred. Despite the abundance of similar complaints easily found across public review platforms -many citing rude, aggressive, and inappropriate behavior from staff, Southborough appears to double down on its position rather than course-correct. This suggests a culture of dysfunction that starts at the top and trickles down. I've never golfed here myself, and based on this experience, I happily never will. To boot, the course itself is in terrible shape--neglected, poorly maintained. This place has all the hallmarks of a facility coasting on complacency and low standards, and treating patrons with disrespect seems to be par for the course (pun intended). I encourage others to take their time and money elsewhere. There are far better options in the region where courtesy, professionalism, and basic human decency are still valued.
