They saw me the same day I called and Dr. McKinnis sculpted a beautiful filling on my front tooth (better than the previous). When I returned to Willowbend to get a cleaning and x rays, they asked if I had a hygienist I preferred and I thought no why would that matter. It does. Systematic double-billing and fraudulent financial practices - should I say more?…read more Though you have descent insurance, they will charge you the entire amount of services, claiming that this is the amount that insurance won't cover (100%, really?). Then they bill your insurance for EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT and get paid again. They will never tell you that you overpaid, and once you figure it out once your EOB is ready, Kids Dental will a) deny there is an overpayment b) try to keep it and "apply as credit for future services". Ouch! Oh, and good luck getting an office manager to speak with you: she is "so busy, and has to serve thousands of patients across multiple locations". On top of that, if you paid with your FSA card, you now have to go through the repayment process and all other time-consuming stuff. When this happened once, I thought that this was an honest mistake. But it happened again. And again - with a friend of mine. Horrible stuff, stay away - there are plenty of great dental offices in Plano.

I have three boys and this is not the first time I am taking one of my child to a dentist. But I have never met a dentist who is patient and also great in explaining each procedure to the children. She even showed a little YouTube clip to my 6 year to ease some fears he might have before sealing some of the molars. And of course she explained everything in detail to me and checked in if I have any questions. After everything was done. The decision to move my little ones to her was easy. Even though we love our family dentist. Three out of the four fillings we had done to our child failed within five months of the procedure. Which caused us to have our dentist extract those 3 pediatric teeth. Recently when seeing our primary dentist they informed us that the final filling that was left from the dental work was done improperly and needs to be redone. We called the practice about them examining the tooth and the front desk said they would, but there would be a consult fee for it. We spent approximately $4500 dollars for the work and the anesthesia combined. It's very disappointing they won't check on their own work where they made a flaw without charging a fee. Do not come to this practice. Would give this practice 0 stars if it was an option.

Root Canal: Anxious no more after 10+ years! I didn't feel a thing…read more I have had severe anxiety going to the dentist since I was a child due to a traumatic experience. Today was a huge step getting a root canal procedure done for the first time in years. Got one done as a child and have been terrified ever since. I even started to tear up at the office. After my procedure not only have I been freed of anxiety, but now I am more confident going to get the rest of my procedures done. Dr. Oh and dental assistant Daniel were fantastic, very quick and through. Daniel made me feel at ease as he explained the procedure. He mentioned it was the easiest procedure to do and that Dr. Oh has had years of experience. I didn't feel a thing (not even the numbing needle). I thank God for everyone there and to finally be healed from this trauma after many years. May God bless this practice with abundance for years to come!
